There are many different theories in the Church on how the end times events will play out. Some think the end time prophecies in the Bible will be fulfilled when an Islamic Antichrist comes against Israel. Others think that the Antichrist will be a false Christian or Jew that comes out of Europe. Historically many Protestants taught that the Roman Catholic Church is the Antichrist system. More recently others have come to believe that fallen angels and their Nephilim offspring will be involved. All views have some merits so we need to look at everything and see where each fits within the big prophetic picture.
The Harlot woman of Revelation chapter 17 obviously reigns on earth prior to the Antichrist since she is seen riding the Beast before the ten kings turn against her. The woman is a religions system that had the greatest influence on the kings of the world. There is only one religions system in the world that can fulfilled the Revelation prophecy about her. The whore of Revelation chapter 17 is the Vatican in Rome.
The Roman Catholic religion has been somewhat of a harlot since it reared its head over 1400 years ago. She brought in Babylonian priesthood practices and rituals into Christendom. For complete details and her entire history I suggest people read “A Woman Rides the Beast”, by Dave Hunt. That does not mean that Islam and other world religions do not join with her in the last days, but Mecca cannot qualify. The woman is the Vatican in Rome. The woman also cannot be the Beast/Antichrist since she rides the Beast into power and is later destroyed by the ten kings aligning with the Beast.
There was a local fulfillment of the Revelation 2 letter to Thyatira, but I think the broader prophetic church age fulfillment is to those identified with Roman Catholicism. In that church, Jesus is only condemning Jezebel and those identified with this church seduced by her. (Jezebel in the Old Testament taught and seduced God’s people into practicing idolatry.) There are many examples of pagan practices in the Roman Catholic Church. For example, going through priests and saints are substitutes for going directly to Jesus. Even their Eucharistic Christ worship is a substitute for receiving Jesus. A wafer does not become Christ by a ritual of a priest. The worship of the wafer is a form of idolatry.
Jesus said, the children of Thyatira seduced by paganism would be delivered into the great tribulation. In other words, I believe the Lord is saying they will be not be taken in the pretribulation Rapture. (It then should not surprise anyone that Catholics are not taught about any Rapture.)
I am not saying that Roman Catholicism is the only religion that will be identified with the Harlot in the end days. The Harlot is a one world religion led by the Vatican in Rome. Her Pope has more influence in the world than any other religious figure. The Vatican today has diplomatic relations with most other nations in the world as if it were a separate nation state. The Roman Catholic Church also has an advisory seat at the UN. The stage is being set for Rome to lead a world religion but the major lying wonders that will advance this world ecumenical religious system have not occurred yet. The satanic supernatural deceptions will happen after the overcomers are removed in the Rapture.
Within the big prophetic picture there is also a role for Islam. Arabs in Islam are bringing about wars with Israel, but all of this is just setting the prophetic stage. These Islamic wars against Israel do not mean that the Antichrist comes out of Islam. Israel is even more antichrist than is Islam. Islam accepts that Jesus was the Christ, but they do not believe that Jesus is God. Conversely, Israel still rejects her Christ because He claimed to be God.
The big prophetic picture suggests to me that at some point the Western World will clash with the Islamic world. This clash of civilizations will make people fear for the survival of the human race. All of a sudden there will be great signs and wonders in the heavens and messages attributed to Mary. The messages will claim that we are all God’s children. They will say the world will be destroyed if we do not put aside our differences, live in peace and do good works.
This “Queen of heaven” deception will say that all religions contain truth about God. This satanic deception, is the same “Queen of Heaven” spoken about in the Old Testament. (This is not the Mary of the Bible it is a demonic spirit posing as Mary.) The claim probably will be that there are many paths to the same God and that we are free to have our own religious expressions and differences, but humankind must all unite and work for the common good on earth or the earth will be destroyed.
Muslims also revere Mary above any other woman. The women in Islam revere Mary more than Jesus, as do many Hindu women. So, it is not far-fetched to believe that the Islamic world will be sick enough of war that the majority will embrace this message of inclusiveness and rebel against the leaders bringing about the world war.
The first four seals in Revelation are fulfilled in this clash of civilizations. After this, the inclusive Harlot religious system uses her influence to bring world governance into place. Many will be expecting some type of Christ to return to help solve the problems of the world. People will be saying peace and safety and many will be following false teachers who are saying the Christ has appeared here or there. During the time of the Harlot’s reign you will not be allowed to claim that your own beliefs are the only way to God or to talk against the religious believes of others. These things will be forbidden in the name of world peace.
Those that do not conform will be reeducated or killed for the common good, thinking that ridding the earth of such people is doing God a favor. This is the persecution of true believers talked about at the fifth seal in Revelation. It will be much like it was in the days of the inquisitions when many thousands of Christians and Jews who would not obey Vatican decrees were killed in the name of God.
This persecution of followers of Jesus will be the last straw. God will rule against Satan’s administration over the earth. He will give the Kingdom over to Jesus. Satan and his angels will then war against God’s angels and lose. Satan and his angels will be cast out of the heavens unto the earth (Revelation chapter 12). Then Satan knowing that he only has a short time until Jesus returns to set up His kingdom does all in his power to deceive people to oppose Him.
Satan will attempt to put in place a counterfeit kingdom of God on earth. The Beast will take over the body of a slain world leader and present himself to be the Christ. He will enter the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. (It will part of the ecumenical center on the mount overseen by the Vatican.) This false Christ claims to be above anything called God. He might say he came to save the world from hostile aliens led by Jehovah. (Who posing as God, intents to enslave the world under Jewish laws.)
The Antichrist likely will be a Jew from the tribe of Dan. He probably will come from the region of Assyria. After the war of civilizations this area will come under the control of a revived Roman Empire. The Antichrist will come into power after cultural Christians and Muslims find common agreement on God.
The Beast Antichrist will demand worship. His fellow travelers (fallen angels) posing as benevolent aliens will quickly control the political system of the whole world. This false Messiah’s message will especially appeal to those in eastern religions, “New Age”, and new spiritually. The message will appeal to all polytheistic, pantheistic and lawless people.
The Beast/Antichrist will shake up world government and remove three of ten kings who had been running the world. His message might be that God is a force that he uniquely possesses and that others can tap into that force by tapping into him. Taking the mark will be much like a counterfeit Pentecost. Instead of receiving the Holy Spirit those taking the mark will receive a demon. Those aligning with the Beast will bring a world revolution against the Harlot of Rome. All still identifying with the God of Heaven will be killed. At that time the trumpet judgments will be playing out and the Beast/Antichrist and the fallen angels will lead all nations against Israel. The Beast and all on earth who oppose Jesus at his coming will meet their end as the bowl judgments are poured out.
That is the big prophetic picture. Some views are too narrow because they are missing part of the big prophetic picture. In the big prophetic picture there is a role for Islam, the Roman Harlot the Western Antichrist and Aliens but all play out in proper sequence.

I like the fact you do not get to certain as to what events take place exactly as you say the way many writers do, but give guidance on what the Bible actually says. I was not raised Roman Catholic, though while in the military did attend a service or two at a RCC church. That whole Queen of Heaven that they seem to worship completely seemed wrong to me. I do not believe that God wasted words in the Bible. I do not think there is a single wasted word in God’s word. That said, I do not think the words of Jeremiah (chapt 7 & 44) about the “Queen of Heaven” applied only to the ancient Hebrews. I think that “Queen” is the same worshiped by the RCC and the words of Jeremiah apply today too. My RC friends thought that I was goofy when I told them, and maybe I am wrong.

Don I think you’re spot on with the Antichrist being a Jew. I think that’s the most logical explanation for how the Jews receive him. Either that, or he is a Nephilim. Random information: Jared was the 6th generation from Adam. Jared also means to descend or descent. Jared Kushner is a major proponent of the Trump peace plan. It probably means nothing.

I see so much going on in the world right now that is so alarming. The most concerning thing to me is how Satan is slowly working all social media companies, fake news networks, false religions, and popular culture against (true) Christianity.
If you uphold what the Bible has taught for thousands of years (and what early Christians believed), you’re labeled a bigot/intolerant. The left try to get people banned online, suspended on social media, or fired from their jobs; and it’s getting worse by the day.
With increasing social media/Google censorship, I wonder how long blogs such as yours will be found or even allowed to remain online. Just look at all they’ve done to Alex Jones and others, and I think it is just the beginning.
How bad do you think it’s going to get before the rapture? Do you think the left will be successful in shutting down all conservatives/Christians, or will God allow Trump/conservatives to pass laws protecting free speech/freedom of religious expression until we are raptured?
Sometimes I get a little depressed seeing all this unfolding, and I try to remind myself that God is in control. Then again, Jesus Himself warned that we’ll face tribulation, and many Christians have since the time of Christ. The Bible also says that in the last days perilous times will come.
I see all of this censorship and playing with algorithms as a prelude to a one of the many deceptions that will take place after the rapture. Right now they are making it very hard to find dissenting opinions from the left’s talking points.

I do not know how bad it will get before the Rapture. I also do not know how long Trump will be in office. I have the feeling it will not be all of two terms if his administration does not soon start dealing with all the treason, subversion, censorship and debauchery. If those hating America and Christians have their way, we will have civil war or total tyranny in short order.
I do know one thing, if the Church can do longer give the gospel to the world, there will be no reason for the Church to remain on earth.

It’s really getting to be more of a urban rural divide than a state issue. There is even great division in different areas of cities and counties. The communists are not going to be satisfied with only controlling small portions of America. The reality is that traditional constitutional Americans either keep the country and what is was founded upon or they allow the Christian hating international communists to take over. Thus far, Christian American patriots have hardly even showed up to stand against the enemies, so the Communists are winning everywhere.

I pray continuously that our adult children will recommit to the Lord prior to the rapture, if not, they may be the ones that will need refuge. You have an amazing amount of information available; since I have limited time available, I need to make wise choices and am working on soaking-up Biblical truth, prayerfully trusting the Holy Spirit to lead me. I have looked at several of your recommended links and will do more studying on “The Post Rapture Survival Guide” (found at https://www.raptureready.com/2016/07/19/the-post-rapture-survival-guide/ and associated subject matter, since I have an urge to leave behind assistance and Biblical direction to anyone that ends up in our home after we have been raptured. Antiochus IV Epiphanes of the Greek Empire (the antichrist prototype) was actually born in the area of Assyria. I think the Antichrist will probably come from the same region.
The Antichrist does not have to be born in what is now Israel to be Jewish. I think he will be Jewish because the Jews are not going to accept a non Jewish Messiah. He does not have to be from Israel to claim to be a Jew. Half the known Jews of the world live outside Israel. The Antichrist may even come from a lost tribe. There also are the prophecies about Dan and the fact that none of the 144,000 sealed during the great tribulation come from the tribe of Dan.
I heard Bro.Tsarfati and Jonathan Cahn of ‘The Shemitah’ that as Jews themelves they don’t believe that the AC needs to be Jewish because the Jews are anyways not going to accept him in the new Temple when he declares himself G-D. Antiochus Epiphanes was a Pagan Gentile simple as that. But we should be open to what’s Biblical, the fourth Beast Prince is from the WEST, Islam is imploding and is going to get even more pummeled during the upcoming wars.

These Jews ought to know that the Messiah was promised to Israel. All we know from the Bible is that he will come from the area of the Roman Empire and what we can infer from passages like I referenced.
Jesus was talking to the leaders of Israel in the following passage in reference to the claim that Jesus was the Messiah – Joh 5:43 “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” The Antichrist will be accepted by greater Israel as the Messiah years before he declares himself to be above anything called god.

Don, once again, a solid article bringing forth much needed truth out of the vast ocean of Biblical confusion.
As we have discussed in the past, I still have some minor differences from you.
I see the “Whore of Babylon” not as the Roman Catholic Church (that is too small of a back story). I see “her” as the fallen angel head (with the fallen angel assistance of the one who becomes the anti-Christ) over all of the religious forces contrary to the real kingdom of Christ. That expands her spiritual kingdom from about 1/6 of the world to 5/6 of the world (with a declared membership amounting to about 98% of all the non born again Christians in the world).
After all “Babylon” was “bav-il” or “bav-ilim” in their original language. It meant “gate of the god” or “gate of the gods”. (They were not speaking of “the god” as a monotheist feature – but as a supreme god over the other gods.)
The ancient Hebrew translated “Babylon” as “Babel” (related to “Balal”) which means to confuse or confound. Whereas most in the Roman Catholic Church today are confused or confounded (especially their current Pope) – there are BILLIONS of more confused or confounded who follow ALL of the false (meaning every non-born again Christian) religions of the world.
I am also mostly good with your take of Jewish male who is from the modern area of Syria (the Bible calls him the “Assyrian” – which actually covers more area than modern Syria). I would add to that mix that he may well be a “liberal” Christian who was born of the Hebrew race (from his mother – making him a Jew from birth – don’t think we will know his “father”) from that area of the world. I think he will try to cover three bases (instead of two) to deceive as many as possible. After all, he is claiming to be the Messiah (to the Jews) and the Christ (to the Christian)…

Don, there is one more Bible interpretation who the antichrist is. This interpretation says , that the antichrist is Jeroboam the I and II (its the same person). He was the first king over the North Kingdom of the PAGAN Israel. He will be in the end times Jeroboam the III and the King over all of Israel, after he is resurrected from the dead (John 5,43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive).

I agree that the whore is more than the Roman Catholic Church. I say so in my Revelation Commentary. The whore is all satanic religion from Babylon until the Antichrist.
My point is that the Roman Church apart from the Islamic apostasy and the Protestant separation has been heading this Babylonian system since the visible church became a harlot with the world, and it will again when the world religions form an alliance after the clash of civilization.

I do believe the fallen angelic spirit that is shown as the woman riding the beast is the one who also masqueraded as the Queen of the Heavens in multiple false religions over the last few thousand years. I am not saying that but Fount is. Even so, scripture does indicate that the ten kings are going to destroy the Harlot of Revelation 17. However, keep in mind that she has some relationship with the God of heaven or she would not be called a Whore. She is attacked because in the end many that are identified with her will refuse to worship the Antichrist.
An alternative is that the Antichrist rises as a counter revolution against world religion. That could occur if fallen angels posing as advanced beings claim that the God of heaven is not the most high God but is a renegade tyrant.

In Revelation, the beast from the sea – the anti-Christ – has a Greek male gendered pronoun describing him. The beast from the land – the False prophet – has a Greek neutral gender pronoun describing it. Of course, in English, both of them have a male gendered pronoun. That is what I call “lost in translation”.
But more interesting to me is that beast from the land Greek neuter pronoun concerning a spirit would be a female gendered pronoun if translated into Hebrew. I believe this is enough room for a female to be “displayed” to the world and still fit the original language of Revelation.
I also believe the fallen angels will say they are advanced alien beings and that we were wrong about the God of the Bible (corrupted scripture and all that – now days they openly talk about how the message has been corrupted three times already [Jews, Christians & Muslims]). I don’t see this as an alternate – but as the device in which they carry out the war on the Whore and her followers AND upon all of the born again Christians (fortunately only for a very short while).

I say that a fallen angel is the only creature powerful enough to “ride” what will become the anti-Christ (who is also a fallen angel level).
Rebelling against God and working on behalf of Satan in overseeing his 7 false spiritual kingdoms (called Babylon here) – for me – qualifies as being called a Whore (a word reserved for the once faithful).
So the unsaved portion of the Roman Catholics will go down – and all of the unsaved portions of the other false religions will go down – ALL of them to the extent that they don’t shift their spiritual alliance to the anti-Christ (the 8th of the 7 mountains). If they take his mark – the anti-Christ & the False Prophet will not also burn them to the ground. There is no precedent for a spirit being a false prophet. Spirits work through people. More likely than a spirit directly acting as a prophet is that the spirit possesses the Pope and he advances the Antichrist and turns against all in the world religious system that will not worship the Antichrist as God.
As I was speaking, I was speaking in the same terms as you – assuming the understanding of the audience. My fault.
The fallen angels, who are spirits, in my scenario are indwelling in the bodies of humans – the Pope, the False Prophet (whom I see a separate from the Pope), the anti-Christ. All of them are deeply supernaturally empowered.
This is much like the Holy Spirit of God dwelling in us born again Christians. This same Spirit was very much amped up in power for the Son of God – Jesus – while He was walking the earth as a human. (Because, as He describes it – He had the faith to allow God’s power to work through Him.)

In your last paragraph, I would not put it that way. It was not a matter of Jesus having faith to allow God. As the Son of God born into a Virgin, Jesus grows up as a man and does the will of Father God period.
The formerly frequently known as the Queen of Heaven is the Whore in Revelation. The False Prophet of Revelation played the part of the Marian appearances over the centuries. “Feminine” rivals if you will…

Jesus as being both God and man had free will and was tested in all things as a Human, but God cannot choose to sin. Jesus had no sin nature. As God He does the will of the Father. He is God in the flesh of a human, but He still is God.
I think that there are numerous highly empowered angels who have rebelled against God – Satan being the strongest among them. They are all spirits – not humans. They have the capacity as spirits to enter into living beings – in particular humans – especially if the humans invite them to come into them. This is certainly Biblical as we have many examples of this.
The Fake Trinity at the end of our age will feature Satan as an unseen being who dwells in a much higher spiritual dimension than we “lowly humans”. He will be positioned as our creator – an alien from another place – a being that has not been worshiped before (as Daniel puts it). (This comes from what many of his followers are now publishing – and it of course does fit the Bible because it must fit the Bible.)
Promoting that worship will be a human who been indwelt with a fallen angel who has masqueraded as false gods over the centuries – this human male will declare himself to be the Christ but he will really be the anti-Christ in what he says and does towards the Christ of the Holy Bible.
Also supporting that worship will be a human who has been indwelt with another fallen angel – this one who has masqueraded as the Virgin Mary who has mysteriously appeared over the last few centuries. She will claim to be the Prophet of God (in imitation of the Holy Spirit of the Triune God) and she will be the False Prophet in what she says and does towards the God of the Holy Bible.
The being that they will both attack will be a fellow fallen angel who has played the role of the “Queen of Heaven” going back in time even before she was portrayed as such in the Old Testament. She does not indwell in a human but simply has helped Satan in deceiving the seven major false religions of the world. When her pride causes her and many of her “fundamental” false religion followers (such as radical Islam) to not bow down and follow the “NEW” religion of the anti-Christ, she and those followers will be burnt and destroyed by her fellow fallen angels.

I do not know why you think the Queen of Heaven spirit will be attacked by by another female spirit? Sounds like a demonic cat fight to me. Nevertheless, angels when they take human form always appear as males. Angels also cannot be destroyed. You certainly are not getting any of this from anything said in the Bible. Just making up spiritual fiction is not sound exegesis.

I’m going with Zechariah 5:5-11 (NIV). (The Woman in a Basket passage.)
5 Then the angel who was speaking to me came forward and said to me, “Look up and see what is appearing.”
6 I asked, “What is it?” He replied, “It is a basket.” And he added, “This is the iniquity[b] of the people throughout the land.”
7 Then the cover of lead was raised, and there in the basket sat a woman!
8 He said, “This is wickedness,” and he pushed her back into the basket and pushed its lead cover down on it.
9 Then I looked up—and there before me were two women, with the wind in their wings! They had wings like those of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between heaven and earth.
10 “Where are they taking the basket?” I asked the angel who was speaking to me.
11 He replied, “To the country of Babylonia[c] to build a house for it. When the house is ready, the basket will be set there in its place.”
So, I’m going with the two obviously supernaturally empowered women who had wings, who flew the woman who is “wickedness” to deliver her to the country of Babylonia to build a house and set her in her place in the house. I take them as fallen angels that are female.
As to their final destruction, see the “endless lake of fire” which was created for the Devil and his angels at the end of Revelation. All of the fallen angels who are opposing God – Satan, the anti-Christ, the False Prophet, the Whore of Babylon, and on and on – will end up in there.
So my exegesis might not be the same as your interpretation but it is certainly coming from what is said in the Bible.

This prophetic illustration does not suggest that wickedness is being carried by two female fallen angels. There are no female angels. Angels are called sons of God in scripture. There is no clear example of any female angel anywhere in the Bible. I would admit that a fallen angel might have the appearance of a woman in order to deceive or to appeal to observing reprobates (i.e the Queen of Heaven).
You can believe what you want, but some of your conjectures on this topic are two far fetched for me.

I’m kind of glad this came up because it’s a question I’ve been wanting to ask.
After learning that Demons are not fallen angels but the spirits of the Nephilum and that Satan appeared in the garden as “the shiny one” not through a talking snake, I’m asking:
Is there anyplace in the Bible where angels, fallen or otherwise, seek bodies to inhabit? Don’t they have their own bodies, i.e. a body can’t inhabit another body?
I’m supposing not every entity in the spiritual realm is a bodyless spirit. There’s some confusion here (maybe mine?) because I read from Christian sites who still teach that Demons are fallen angels.

The Bible says Angels are ministering spirits.
Apparently certain angelic spirits also can appear in human form. The only scripture I know of where a fallen angel (Satan) possessed the body of a human is with Judas and with the future Beast.
Even so, when the Bible is talking about evil disembodied spirits possessing humans, I believe it is primarily talking about the disembodied spirits of the Nephilium. It may include fallen angels after the Abyss is opened. I think we get confused because in the unseen spiritual realm there apparently are different classes of beings.
