I believe the four horsemen of the apocalypse begin their ride before this decade is over. If I am correct, it should not be surprising that the days leading up to those catastrophic Revelation events would not see business as usual on the earth. As you already know, all of a sudden the foundations of the world order are being shaken because of the Wuhan corona virus outbreak. The world seems on the brink of unraveling whether the actual health impact of the coronavirus turns out to be over-hyped or not.
What a difference a few weeks make. The Dow Jones was pushing 30000 a few weeks ago and now it is down around 22000. All of the gains since President Trump took office are now about gone. All those gambling on getting high returns in the stock markets are losing their shirt instead. Pension funds will be in danger of collapsing.
The economic house of cards that the world bankers and corporatists built is now in danger of collapsing as a world pandemic is about to rock the just-in-time supply chain and collapse the totally over leveraged world economic system. At the very least the world is now in for a recession but it could become even worse than the great depression. What is happening in the world now may shortly lead to the rider of the white horse in response to the collapse of the old world order.
The presidential election in America also seems about to move into unchartered territory. Joe Biden is corrupt and senile, but apparently the Democrats want to go with Biden as a place holder. I would not totally rule out Bernie Sanders yet. Nevertheless, if he somehow makes a comeback he would be a good candidate to catch the Wuhan corona virus and expire before the convention. We will know better about Biden being the nominee after Biden’s performance in the debate on March 15th and the primaries held on March 17th.
Can you even imagine Joe Biden doing two hour debates with Donald Trump? The Democrats will probably refuse to debate Trump as long as Biden still tops their ticket. They will probably soon lock Joe up somewhere and only roll him out on special occasions.
The Democrats real pick for president will appear as Biden’s running mate. That person will either become the presidential nominee before the election because Biden will have to suddenly withdraw for health reasons, or that person will take over the presidency shortly after Biden is elected. That probably means Hillary or Michelle becomes the President if Trump loses.
Hillary has a lot of baggage but she would do virtually anything to become president. Michelle does not give the impression that she even wants the job. However, that just might be part of a hard to get act. The Democrats really would like to have a “progressive” black woman running for president. Even better if that person is also LGBTQ. Even so, you have to give witch points to Hillary. For many decades bad things have happened to anyone daring to investigate the Clinton’s, They have been reported to practice voodoo. We also might be reminded of author Tom Horn’s suggestion that Hillary might possess the Hilarion demon. In support of the premise that Hillary is into the occult, Hillary herself has claimed to have had conversations with the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt. Perhaps both Hillary and Michelle will be on the final ticket? This might be an unbeatable combination in brainwashed America.
It also looks to me like we are heading for a sharp recession and will have rapidly rising unemployment before the election. That could doom Trump’s reelection chances. I think the election process itself is going to move into unchartered territory. How do the candidates have rallies when having them is going to spread the coronavirus? Neither Trump nor Biden are immune to catching this virus and having a bad outcome at their age. I think the Trump rallies will end very soon if they have not ended already. There will soon be little for Trump supporters to cheer about anyway. I don’t see how the two parties even have national conventions this summer.
It all makes you wonder if they will somehow postpone the election or just decide to allow everyone to catch the virus. Maybe before this summer our government will decide shutting down everything is a worse danger to our nation than everyone catching the virus. In that case, maybe some of the old entrenched establishment of both parties will catch the virus and pass on to their just reward.
Europe is going to be a disaster because of the virus. The whole nation of Italy is shut down. Their health system is already overwhelmed with the Wuhan virus. Most of the rest of the EU nations are only a couple of weeks behind Italy. Merkel of Germany warns that 70 percent of the people in Germany could catch the disease. This is going to happen in most nations of the world as the virus continues its exponential growth.
The impact this will have on developing nations with over crowded conditions and poor health conditions is frightening. Many people could die just because they will not be able to get oxygen, drugs and medical treatment.
China and India control almost all of the prescription drugs in the world. India already is stopping the exporting of 150 drugs because they may need them for their own people. China is now blaming America for the virus and hawks there are even threatening to cut off antibiotic exports. China controls 95 percent of the antibiotics manufactured in the world. Many people may die just because they were not able to get common antibiotics or some other vital medication. It is time that the people and corporations that allowed the transferring of most of the world’s manufacturing to China pay a price. Maybe they should be sued and lose all of the wealth they acquired selling out the West.
Relations between Turkey and Europe are also moving into unchartered territory. Turkey says they will push millions of migrants into Europe. President Erdogan is telling Greece to open its doors and Greece is using their military to resist the migrant invasion. Erdogan has make it clear in speeches that he intends to reform the Ottoman Empire. He has invaded Syria and also sees Greece as Islamic conquered territory. We could see the makings of a world war here. The Bible tells us the little horn out of the region of the old Roman and Grecian Empires grows exceedingly great toward the East and South and toward the Holy Land (Da 8:9). This riding of the white horse may occur as a response to expansionism of Turkey and Iran.
Speaking of Iran, they are now in dire straights due to the coronavirus, the embargoes, and the huge drop in oil prices. They cannot treat most people needing medical care and are digging mass graves for all the bodies. Anything could now happen there.
Trump is planning to put our government trillions of dollars further in debt because of the feared economic impact caused by Wuhan virus. One of his main proposals is a payroll tax holiday for the rest of the year. The problem with that is it means the money needed to pay Social Security and Medicare benefits would then have to be borrowed. There is no free lunch. If Trump cuts payroll taxes the money for Social Security and Medicare still has to come from somewhere.
Trump also will be wanting to bail out everyone just to make sure nobody feels any pain before the election. I am not making a judgment call here about what Trump should or should not do because we are way past the point of good solutions. Congress will probably let the whole nation crash in the short term rather than give anything that might prop up Trump before the election. Nonetheless, they will vote to vastly increase welfare programs and put America much further in debt.
Because of this, I think the national debt will rise from 23 trillion to over 30 trillion by 2022 because of the increased welfare programs and the falling tax revenues. That 30+ trillion figure means interest rates can never rise more than a couple of percent again or the nation will default. However, if the interest rates do not rise, no one will invest, the contraction will continue, and that will also leads to default on existing debt.
The Federal Reserve will print money like there is no tomorrow. They just announced they will print at least $1.5 trillion. That will just be the start. If we go into a deep recession, the economic house of cards will come crashing down, but if the Fed keeps printing new money our currency will crash. There is no painless solution to everyone living beyond their means for decades.
Certain nations are going to go bankrupt. This could be the start of the economic collapse that brings the whole world system down. It’s looking more and more doubtful that the politicians and bankers have the ability to prop up the system as they did in 2008. This could be the big one.
Before Trump was elected I said Trump would be a most suitable individual to declare America bankrupt. He should of dealt with the debt problem in 2017. Instead Trump chose not to face economic reality and pushed America further down the debt hole. He continued blowing up the everything bubble that is now imploding. In the peak of the expansion the government was spending a trillion dollars more a year then they were taking in and that did not even include off the book entitlement debt. Now trillions more will be added to try to reflate all the bubbles.
Trump is now taking a similar course as Obama. The Fed will just create trillions out of thin air because they will not be able to continue to sell US Treasuries at almost zero interest. The end result will be a devaluing of the currency. When a nation cannot pay its bills it defaults or devalues its currency. So call it what you will, the nation will effectively be bankrupt. The big losers will be the entrepreneurs, investors, savers, and the huge numbers that will become unemployed in America.
The panic in the markets is not because people of the world cannot produce what is needed to prosper. It is because the economies of the world now run mostly on borrowed money. If there is any major disruption, the whole debt structured system fails. When that happens, everyone invested in the over leveraged system loses part or all of their investment.
The subversive radical left media is fanning the flames of a real health crises and they should be shut down because their misinformation will get people killed. Some will claim shutting them down is unconstitutional, but you cannot have a constitutional republic while the enemy of the Republic is controlling the narrative. The First Amendment was not given to give people the right to commit subversion and treason. In fact, all government employees take a oath to protect our Republic from enemies foreign and domestic. It is time they start taking that oath seriously or we will no longer have a constitutional republic.
Trump should declare a national emergency and get whatever needs to be done to save our Republic done. He should make it economically feasible for all new and existing manufactures to quickly expand manufacturing capabilities and remove our dependence on China or anyone else.
The world is now trucking through unchartered territory. I think the world will continue to be panicked over one crises or another until the white horse of Revelation begins his ride.
Timely article Don. You certainly may be correct about the horsemen. If the Rapture is very soon as so many of us hope and expect, they will start their work very soon. On the other hand, God seems to often give a lot of warnings, up to a point. The current Wuhan virus may be a warning that gives people another chance to repent prior to his coming for the Church. It is impossible to know, at least for me. I think that the horsemen happen post Rapture, but that is based only on the location of their description after the churches are discussed in Revelation. Christ discussed that there would be pestilences in various places prior to his return. He also told us to watch. I know that Matthew 24 is for the Jewish nation, but as we approach the Rapture we need to continue to watch and wait.
The hate, intolerance, and vitriol that we see from the “liberals”, also seems to be building. I think that it has reached the level already that should the Rapture occur tonight, removing the Spirit filled Church, they will seize power tomorrow and implement the full plan of evil they currently are somehow, probably supernaturally, prevented from implementing.

I agree fully with your comments to Don’s excellent article. Having watched for 40+ years, it is amazing to see how things are speeding up and evil is growing at a frightening rate. Here in Washington state, they are about to allow perverse “sex education” to very young children in our public schools… Things that a generation ago were considered perverted and disgusting. Today they consider us to be perverted and disgusting!
I can’t decide if this virus is overblown or not. For younger healthy people the mortality rate is far below 2%. It’s probably around 0.5% or less. For older folks with multiple comorbidities it certainly appears to be fairly serious with a mortality rate possibly as high as 8%.
I thought Trump would of handily beat any Democrat candidate but now I have my doubts. I have already been telling people that Joe is a placeholder. I agree his VP will be the president and the “real” candidate. Of course they could just nominate Hillary or Michelle at the convention. Maybe Mayor Pete as their VP? He did drop out rather early. Who knows. My gut feeling is the that us believers may be gone before 2024 anyway. One can hope…

Excellent article. The question in my mind, do we really know how many are infected with this virus and deaths? How do we know what is reported is true? Could all of this be a blown up lie to panic the world to crash the economy?
Does anyone know anyone who has had this virus or knows someone who knows someone who has had it? I don’t. I was at the grocery store this morning and it was ridiculous. Shelves going empty. Media induced panic buying. You know how you talk to strangers in difficult times? EVERYONE I spoke to at the store said it was the media that has made this so much worse than it had to be, but we all feel compelled now to go out and buy things. Some people behind me in line were talking about there being no water. I said to them “Don’t we all have faucets? The infrastructure hasn’t been destroyed.” I can see if you live in a place where your water really is unhealthy, but the vast majority of the US is not that way. I ran into a guy I know and he had gone to Sams Club at 5am and he said the gas line was a mile long. Gas? No one will be driving anywhere. Why do you need to panic buy gas? Church services are now being cancelled. Good way for Satan to infiltrate. Older people tend to be the keeper of the flame so to speak. If they end up fearing crowded places after this eventually ends you’ll be left with a lot more people who are inclined towards accepting the homosexual agenda. No one is saying that this virus isn’t real or isn’t a problem, but this demonic attack seems to be working well for Satan so far. Trump calling for a national day of prayer tomorrow is a good thing, Bet not many people even know about it. Spread the word.

It is not hype, the leaders are warning people and telling people to stay home if possible, and not to gather in large groups because they want to flatten the curve.
This is so the medical system is not overwhelmed like happened in Wuhan, Iran and Italy. On the other hand, those taking aggressive actions with quarantines and other actions like China, Singapore and S. Korea, now seem to have the spread of the virus there under control.
I do not know where you live but the governor of Ohio believes there is more than 100,000 people walking Ohio carrying the virus. I am sure parts of Washington, Oregon, California and New York also have significant outbreaks. Keep in mind that so far very few people in this nation have been tested for the virus. The numbers with the disease will jump significantly when more people get tests.
It is easy to blame Satan, but pestilences do not happen unless God allows. I am sure this would not have been allowed if everyone on earth was seeking God’s salvation. Even Christians still physically live in a fallen world that is still under God’s curse.
Again, I do not know where you live, but most of America is already accepting the homosexual agenda including many of the churches. Sometimes I think Western Church services are part of the problem and not the solution. Most pastors do not feed the flock and few in those Sunday Church gatherings use their spiritual gifts for the sake of others in the Body. However, they do like to shake hands and that helps spread viruses.
I know Adriana lives in California. My sister in Wisconsin called yesterday to tell me shelves were going empty there too. This morning I went to the grocery store (Kansas) to get supplies before they were gone. There was almost no toilet paper and customers were limited to one package. Same with bottled water. Don, if you’re saying that 100,000 people in Ohio are carrying the virus, can you imagine what it’s like in California? I live in Southern California. Huge population. Just because the governor of Ohio says all these people are carrying the virus doesn’t mean everyone they’re going to come in contact with is going to get sick. Because of the media induced panic buying, now every major city throughout the United States, and probably the world has now forced people to go out and “panic buy” in mass. Think about how many more people are touching shopping carts, food products, punching in their debit card numbers on the machines, using bathrooms. talking to each other, etc. Panic buying now at gas stations means so many more people touching gas nozzles (probably the worst purveyors of disease), punching their number into the credit card machines, etc. If you want to talk about people infecting each other, the media induced panic buying has now ensured that. We’re in crowds that were never there before. My sister lives in a small town in Montana. She works in a medical clinic there. Because of this hysteria, patients who come in for their appointments have started stealing masks. They now have to lock up the masks. And they can longer get the Saniwipes they always use to wipe down the examination rooms after the patient leaves. There is no supply. I still maintain that this has been WAY overblown, and I think it is for nefarious reasons. Again, where was the panic with the swine flu? There was none!

I do not think astute Bible prophecy teachers are saying there will be peace before the rider on the horse rides. Actually they are saying the rider on the white horse will first conquer through diplomatic means since he has a bow but no arrows, after that the red horse of war rides.

Its not overblown for the 50 million or so of old people and those with medical conditions that are at much higher risk of having to be hospitalized if they catch the virus. I also do not think there is as much panic buying as you seem to think. That also is way overblown by the media.
People are rightly stocking up because they think the government might force them to stay home for awhile, or at some point they believe taking the risk to go to stores just might not be the best strategy. Even if just the 50 million or so of increased risk people in America went to the markets buying extra supplies they would clean off many of the shelves. I think people should shop on weekdays when they will find far less crowds and far less empty shelves.

Matthew 24 is talking to Jews living in Israel and its about their nation in the last days. The Church does not necessarily remain on earth for any of those events.
Amillennial’s often say the rider on the white horse is Jesus and is picturing Christianity but the crown the rider is wearing is wrong for it being the King of Kings riding to establish His kingdom on earth. Besides, after 2000 years there is no actual kingdom on earth. The Lord’s kingdom is not of this age. Dispensationalists say the rider on the white horse is the world leader that becomes the Antichrist at the mid point of the last seven years.
We also would say the Rapture occurred in Chapter 4 of Revelation so in sequential context (the things to come mentioned) the riding of the white horse only happens after the Church age is over. That also is what Paul was taking about, “that day and the Son of Perdition cannot come until what hinders is taken out of the way”. What hinders the Antichrist is the Holy Spirit taking out the fullness of the Gentiles known as the Church. In other words, the Antichrist cannot come, and God will not return to deal with Israel again, as long as God is still taking out His elect also called the Bride of Christ from every nation.

I too had thought the Rapture may happen when things seem relatively normal. But then I have been thinking what was Noah’s time like? if only 8 people were found righteous on earth surely it must have been a violent, dangerous place lacking anything in the way of Gods blessing. There was probably some ‘normalcy’ around buying/selling and daily life, but it must have been unhinged. Similar to Lot’s situation – 2 cities absolutely without any fear of God would also make it a place of chaos.
All that to say, as we approach the Rapture we should expect a new normal of upheaval and more and more destabilizing black swan events.

I think we do need to keep in mind that Enoch was taken hundreds of years before the flood. It was even before God warned Noah to build the Ark. I would say things were not quite as bad on earth at the time of the Rapture of Enoch as they were in the days when Noah was building the Ark. As you can imagine, thinks get radically worse on earth after the salt and light is removed.

Well we are seeing some Democrat mayors trying to ban firearm sales now. California cities are issuing shelter in place for non essential personal. Leftist governors are trying to get Trump to lock the entire country down and bring in the military aka martial law. We need to be very careful about giving these leftists power, especially with Trump possibly out in 8 months.
The economic impact of the Coronavirus in the USA is looking more and more like its going to be much bigger than the 2008-2012 economic crash. In the past the US GOvernment under Obama bailed out the Banks at a cost of $ hundreds of billions, this time its looking like it will easily surpass the $ economic figures of the past.

I was checking on 9mm ammo today. Everyone is already out of stock. The local Walmart here in the Ozarks even on Tuesday had a lot of empty shelves. Almost all staples were gone. I never seen anything like this in this area and there has only been 8 confirmed cases in Missouri.
A friend of mine is getting a COVID-19 test today because she got real sick and was recently around people from elsewhere who might have had the virus. Sick or not she had to travel over 100 miles to get the test done. They said they are only set up to do a very limited number of cases a day.

I have also had a thought (could be out to lunch lol) perhaps Satan senses prophetic events are about to happen. Satan needs some form of world order – e.g. economic, military, technological – to implement the coming beast system. The Covid issue has radically shifted governments and economies into a much more big brotherly role – exactly what’s needed after the Rapture.

I must admit that for mamy years reading your website I have gotten a knot in my chest because I have doubted my salvation many times over the years. I am one of those baptist church children who made a profession of faith at a very young age and again in highschool. I never really carried very far with spiritual growth after that based on the measure of the fruit of the spirit. I dont remember a time I didnt believe at the least that Jesus was Gods son, God, man, born of virgeon, sinless etc. That seems like what is required but I still had a lack of peace inside, especially given current events. Perhaps it was my lack of growth I dont really know. I broke down today and called out to Him, asking him to forgive me and save me. I want to be sure im saved amd of where im going. What else can I do but call out to Him and beg?

That is possible but keep in mind that any timing positions of the Ezekiel 38 war have their own unique set of problems. It’s not safe to say the war is post Rapture if it actually occurs years before the tribulation like some Bible prophecy teachers are saying. So what conjecture do you want to believe?
I am saying we should be more concerned that there will be another world war even before the rider of the white horse rides.
I prayed God would help me understand why I have been so fearful and anxious especially after you mentioned being worldy minded. Ive been guilty of being one of those living in denial and saying well things have always been bad etc… but really I find that was me aspiring to a long comfortable worldly life with some god stuff sprinkled in, and that was the wrong way to live. Everything including my life belongs to Him and admitting that ive lived and thought otherwise was a relief in a way. I am ashamed because of all time ive wasted and struggle with lies like “its to late” and “why bother its almost over”, but the truth is God never turns his back on anyone that honestly seeks him and indeed many should be drawn to him in these uncertain times and it is an opportunity to reach out. Please pray for me and that I will seek his will and live with a godly world view.
As far as current events are concerned, there are obviously some dark forces at work behind these events, but I do believe this is a real sickness that needs to be taken seriously and the people of this country are not doing so nor are our leaders using a strong enough hand. Regardless of the useage of this sickness to advance a socialist agenda, we really are in danger. People have watched the news too much without any real desire for understanding and are content to try and blame political parties etc. when there is a very real danger that we need to come together against. I did my own math and with our population such as it is with only 1/3 getting it and 1% of those dying that is still over 1 million people. That is catastrophic. I was inclined to downplay it before then. Many still are. I agree that the media needs to be shut up today, they are getting people killed. We had plenty of food, but when all the school kids come home at once unplanned and we get told to prepare for quarantine on short notice our just in time inventories cant handle that. There is enough to go around if the supply chain will be given time to work but the media needs to be encouraging people to remain calm, instead they are feeding fear. I am greatly distressed by this, but thankful God has not given up on me. Sorry for the book. God bless you all.
Dawson, your messages here touched my heart and I want you to know that I prayed for you. The way you describe as having doubts about your salvation and your deep desire to please the Lord sound just like me some years ago. I lived years as a nominal Christian until really tough life situations got me to depart from Christianity altogether. I got seriously in a deep, dark place of error and deception.. And only by the great mercies of our God, He rescued me from that puddle of mud, basically ripped me away from the enemy’s hands that I didn’t even know I had ended in. The light of His Word shone into my darkened heart and I realized how far astray I had gone and how dangerous my situation had gotten. That moment started the same seeking and learning as you, and I had many, many moments of doubt on my journey. Doubt about my salvation doubts about God and the Bible.. But the Lord faithfully has brought me through all and everything, always, even though sometimes it has seemed like a hopeless situation, physically, emotionally, spiritually.. He is truly faithful faithful God! So I just wanted to encourage you and say to you that please trust in our loving Father, He will see you through absolutely everything. When you’re weak, He is strong. I am still extremely weak and in a difficult situation in my life, but all I can do is entrust my life and all of me in the faithful, loving and strong hands of God. You’re not the only one who has struggled with assurance of salvation. I have in the past, sometimes I still do, and many Christians have struggled with assurance through history. One thing that helps is seeing God work in my life again and again and again. Sometimes I feel guilty even for doubting because of all that God has helped me through so far. Your assurance should get better with time (or more so, experience); but as Elihu says in the book of Job, be careful not to turn to iniquity.
One thing that I believe God has shown to me, which has helped me, is that a strong key to salvation assurance is focusing on His promises – even the most simple and basic ones like John 3:16. Another good one is Romans 10:9-13. These passages come from the Bible, so they are directly from God; and to borrow a quote from Don, God didn’t fill the Bible with April fools jokes. It is impossible for God to lie.

Hey Don I read where there are some saying that the Coronavirus will end or die down dramatically after Passover, specifically from Chuck Pierce. I’m not familiar with him. I also read about a rabbi in Jerusalem saying that Italy would continue to be ravaged until Rome released some significant items or vessels?having to do with the Jewish Temple. What do you think Don? There is a lot of misinformation coming from Bible prophecy teachers reading in their own conjecture into the plan. From what I read there is no plan to divide Jerusalem in Kushner’s plan. I have always assumed that we will be taken in body and spirit, but is it possible that we will just be taken in spirit and the body left behind? My uncle got Guillain-Barre Syndrome from taking a flu shot. He spent the last year and a half of his life strapped to a rotating round table on life support. Then there were deaths of young women after taking Gardasil vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. Others suffered permanent damage. I know that’s true. My twin granddaughters had a classmate who Katie Couric did a story about.

I don’t claim to be a fortune teller. I just give my views on world trends and Bible prophecy and some other things. I am pretty sure that I did not put any date on WWW3 as you suggest. Just as I am not putting a date on my post today about a coming world war.
I do not claim to be a prophet. I do not write to try to predict the future. I am trying to be a watchman on the wall with the limited abilities that God gave me but like all watchmen I am not infallible. Many others do claim to get direct knowledge from God and nothing they say ever comes to pass as said, but people keep following them.
Find me one person teaching about world trends and Bible prophecy or political commentary that gets high marks by everyone? Yet they all have followings or they would be speaking into the wind. Guess I am among good company.

Regarding Israel and her “70th” anniversary, I do believe in 2018 Trump recognized Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel. That’s pretty big.
I think the beginning signs of Matthew 24 may culminate with the riding of the 4 horseman. In the 3 months since you wrote this the US has gotten much more unstable and it’s inevitable collapse will drag the entire world down with it. Even things in Israel are heating up a bit with the plans to annex parts of Judea before Trump potentially leaves office. I don’t know if we will be around to see the rider on the white horse but it’s clear he is likely to come very soon.
I do wonder if the church age ends around 2030-2035 instead of that time being for the return of Chtist. I think the extra 10-15 years is all that is needed to get everything in place. Of course that makes Peter’s statement in Acts 2 make little sense about them being in the last days of the week at Pentecost. It seems the 5th day started no later then that.
I guess my concerns about certain events not having adequate time to transpire could be explained by demonic possession. We see how the demon possessed man Jesus confronted had supernatural strength and stamina. Such possessed men could build a city or march across Asia in record time. Just my thoughts.
Don is the real expert here, but there is nothing that has to happen before the rapture. They fully expected it during Pauls day. Enoch got taken out 300 years before the flood. Don’s theory is 10.5 years or more before, but it could be more than that. In the midst of all this turmoil going on they have to get up a worldwide data network, gog magog war, etc. The active hate being pumped out of the left here and brazeness is shocking. We can also see the groundwork being laid for a mark system. All that stuff could be done very fast though under a single world system.

it’s all uncharted territory. There could even be another world war followed by a new world order before any of the horsemen ride.
It all depends on when the 6000 years between creation and the millennium is fulfilled. It seems likely that it is either 2032 or 2075 (The later date is based on what Dr. Ken Johnson claims about the date of creation and what he teaches about the Essene’s).
For the later date to happen something on earth that is the equivalent of the black plague or a nasty world war needs to take place real soon to set back civilization a couple of decades. I would not rule that out because the late date may answer why some things like a literal religious Harlot ruling the world, Babylon, the revived Roman Empire and ten kings seem increasingly unlikely by the 2032 date.
My point is do not put all your eggs in one date basket. The Lord could delay His coming. We need to Watch and work.
In any case about the end of the age, the taking of the Bride of Christ can happen decades sooner than the end of the 6th day.
Have you come around Don? I’ve been saying for the last couple years on this blog that I just could not see a literal fulfillment of many of the things you just mentioned. That’s why I was so adamant about having certain events having to be supernatural.
There is no way there is not a 7000 year plan. It just makes too much sense. So much scriptural support of it exists. Also the general consensus among astute believers that time is short has to mean something. Perhaps Christians are taken 40 years before the end. 40 years to test the unbelieving world. I’ll have to look into Ken Johnson as I do not know of him.
Some even say the Septuagint translation is correct putting the flood much earlier. Maybe God restarted the 6000 years at the flood. We have talked about that. I very much doubt the world has hundreds of years though. Man will be living in space colonies by then allowing him to escape the end time judgements on earth.
Things can change very fast. Look at America over the last 3 months. The world is about to experience serious chaos. The economic crash will usher in the end times technology of a cashless electronic system. The resulting world war and the rapture could very likely create the religious harlot. The revised roman empire logically follows next. As for Babylon….i still have no answer of how that could hapoen during the tribulation. That’s the sticking point for a 2032 date. It has to be supernatural imo if 2032 is the end.
I looked up Ken Johnson and found he has a range of 2030 to 2067. Perhaps he revised his original 2075 date?

The Septuagint we have is corrupted.
Dr. Johnson does not claim to know when the Rapture will occur but he does set the year 6000 as 2075 AD. He sets the date of creation as 3925 BC. I just assume that he thinks Jesus will come back to earth in 2075 because that logically would start the seventh day and the millennial reign.
I have not changed my view that the tribulation will start to play out before 2030, but if that turns out to be too soon there is Ken Johnson’s explanation to fall back on for those still believing in the 7000 year theory.
I have problems with Dr. Johnson’s teaching. If what he claims is correct, the church has not had a clue about what ancient Israel actually believed. The teaching of the Essene’s is then what ancient Israel actually believed.
Of course Johnson gets what he believes from his own spin on extra-biblical sources. For example, Jubilees and the Book of Gad among other lost books. I do not have the expertise to point out the errors and the fabrications he makes, but I think it is high time that an ancient text scholar critiqued his work because what he writes has a large following.
Don do I understand you right that either things have to kick off realy soon or its going to start looking like there needs to be some supernatural fulfillment to make a 2032 date? Like from even a practical perspective all that stuff would have to go from start to complete in 12 years time from today. It would seem the rapture and great deception would probably account for the harlot, but it does begin to look a stretch to completely break the current system and get everything else in place and functioning in the next 8.5 years to make the mid trib mark of the beast system ready to go. Its almost like that is asking for a war or a cataclysmic event to spread it out a little. Its either that or it runs at speed with minimal interruption from here on. It’s tough cause I have serious doubts about a 2032 date as well as a decades longer potential 2075 date (or later who really knows). The tares would undoubtedly choke out the wheat given another 55+ years. Mankind only gets more ungodly. If you look at Don’s timetable page there is a lot of things that make sense with a 2030-2035 date. We just have to wait and watch like we are commanded to do.
Also Dawson keep in mind that it’s unlikely the entire world is forced into this buy sell system. It may just be in the Antichrist’s empire he rules or all of modern society. The world empires of the past even though desribed to rule the whole world actually ruled a small fraction of the actual world. I very much doubt every pigmy in Africa or aborigine deep in Australia will have some henchman knocking on their hut. It even says those from the north will rebel and help destroy Babylon at the end of the tribulation so clearly he does not rule the entire earth for the entire tribulation.

Dawson you do not understand me right. I never said it will all be fulfilled by 2032. Perhaps the tribulation will not even start for a decade and then there is still seven more years. 2032 is only mentioned because it is about the year when Jesus was crucified. Perhaps this marked the end of the fourth day followed by the two thousand year two day age of grace begun at Pentecost. Keep in mind, that the last seven years for Israel occurs after the age of grace and fullness of the Gentiles comes in. That suggests the tribulation might not begin before 2032.
Jim – The tares are not going to choke out the wheat if there is a worldwide reset caused by a plague or a world war as I suggested might happen. God allows such things from time to time to purge the earth of evil so that the gospel can still be given. If the axis of evil nations were removed from the picture I can see the gospel being preached to the Muslim nations before the end. The harlot might rise in a worldwide mostly pseudo Christian ecumenical resurgence. It is the ten kings of the Antichrist that later destroys the harlot.
The fulfillment of the tribulation events are literal even if some of the things mentioned are carried out by supernatural beings.
So to tidy up this whole conversation it appears we can all agree a world reset is coming shortly. If that is the final reset before the tribulation or just another in the long line of history will remain to be seen.

Don- I really failed to say it well, but yes that is what I thought you were saying. As the days go by it seems less likely everything will be wrapped up and done by 2032. The events get compressed further by the day. We know there is a hard 7 years from the peace agreement. For 2032 to work that has to start in 2025. The rapture has to happen in the next 5 years for that. That actually seems pretty likely considering how fast things have been moving this year. A reset as you have spoken of could stretch this out. If India and China were to start slinging nukes at eachother that could whittle down that 200,000,000 man army. I could see the U.S. collapsing drawing those two together as well though. We shall soon see, hopefully from the air.
