In the Eastern Ozarks of Missouri we have had only a few cases of the laboratory created coronavirus. Even so, everything in the state was shut down by order of the knee-jerking governor. It would have been wiser to just deal with hot spots like St Louis and Kansas City and leave the rural areas of the state alone. The government control freaks prove good at shutting down everything, but they do not have a clue how businesses and those they put out of work will ever recover from the unconstitutional shut-downs that they directed. Tribulation begins in 2020’s and ends with second coming in 2030’s

For decades I have said that various world trends suggest that the tribulation would begin in the 2020’s making the second coming in the 2030’s. Recent events in the world seem to make that timing even more likely. By the way, that world trends page above was my total original website 20 years ago.

I have been a critic of Dr. Tom Horn because some of his books suggested that the Antichrist would rise almost a decade ago. Even so, one of his latest books called The Wormwood Prophecy has me wondering if there could be any truth to his conjecture that the asteroid Apophis could fulfill the Wormwood prophecy in 2029.… continue reading

Government technocrats cure will be far worse than the virus

What a change less than two months has wrought on our nation and on the world. In late February I was warning that the coronavirus hitting Wuhan China could cause an economic downturn that could impact Trump’s election chances. Just a month later governments all over the world began shutting down everything to stop the virus spread. Because of all the shutdowns, the world is about to be hit with the worst global economic crises it has ever encountered. This may take a couple of years to fully play out, but it will turn out to have a far greater negative impact on nations than anything the virus would have caused without the government intervention.… continue reading

Economic collapse and world war may occur alongside coronavirus pandemic

Could world war be coming in addition to the economic downturn and the coronavirus pandemic? The Spanish Flu killed about three percent of the population on earth and it started during World War I. That flu killed many more people than did the war. One could argue that such happenings are a judgement from God. It does seem that God purges the earth occasionally to keep evil from totally taking it over. Trucking through unchartered territory until the four horsemen ride

I believe the four horsemen of the apocalypse begin their ride before this decade is over. If I am correct, it should not be surprising that the days leading up to those catastrophic Revelation events would not see business as usual on the earth. As you already know, all of a sudden the foundations of the world order are being shaken because of  the Wuhan corona virus outbreak. The world seems on the brink of unraveling whether the actual health impact of the coronavirus turns out to be over-hyped or not.

Black swans could poop on Trump’s 2020 election expectations

Black swans are unforeseen happenings that come out of nowhere and change the course of events in the world. I think one or more black swans could change the course of the 2020 national election. As things stand now, President Trump would be reelected and the Republicans would gain control of both houses of Congress, but one or more black swans could poop on Republican expectations.

Republicans should not become overconfident because this nation continues on a leftward march. Before the 2018 midterm elections the conservative talking heads were saying the Republicans would retain the House. The Republicans lost and elections have consequences.… continue reading

Trump peace plan is not dividing Israel and won’t happen anyway

Everyone in Bible prophecy is talking about President’s Trump’s two state solution in the Middle East. I do not believe this peace proposal is dividing Israel as some are saying; nor is it the covenant that will be confirmed by the Antichrist. This proposal just goes to show you that the most pragmatic thinking still falls far short of any real peace solution for the Middle East.

Jihad rage brings world war upon the earth in the 2020’s

The following is partly inspired and some of it copied from of an article I wrote nearly a decade ago. I believe Jihad rage in Islam will bring major wars upon the world in the 2020’s. I also believe the West is in for a major shock fairly soon because our leadership continues to be in denial about the Islamic threat to the West. On the other hand, Muslims need to be warned about what will happen to them if militants of Islam carry out the massive deadly attacks against the West that I believe some are now planning.

The 2020’s will turn out to be a prophetically fateful decade

I am not going to make specific predictions for 2020 but I believed we have now arrived to the decade of the Rapture of the Bride of Christ. Shortly after the Rapture the tribulation period will occur followed by the fulfillment of all Bible prophecy related to the second coming of Jesus Christ. I think most of the end times prophecies will be fulfilled in the 2030’s although the four horsemen of Revelation probably will ride in the 2020’s.

I could be wrong about the tribulation starting in the 2020’s, but if I am, I don’t think it will prove to be of much comfort to those living through this decade.… continue reading

Spiritual gifts from God keep on giving in the new year and beyond

Those who believe and receive God’s Son by grace are given the gift of His Holy Spirit along with one or more spiritual gifts for service to others in the Body of Christ. The main spiritual gifts God wants believers to know about are listed in the New Testament (i.e. apostles, prophets, teachers, helps, administrations, etc), but I would not limit the spiritual gifts to just those listed any more than I would limit the Holy Spirit.

Paul tells us that seeking spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church was a common practice among early believers (1Co 14:12). Therefore, these spiritual gifts are not as fixed after conversion as some seem to think.… continue reading

The mystery of Babylon the kingdom counterfeit of Satan

One of the great mysteries of the Bible is how the prophecies about Babylon are to be fulfilled. The major prophecies about Babylon are found in Isaiah 13-14 & 47, Jeremiah 50-51 and Revelation 17-18. Most just focus on the Revelation prophecies and ignore the Old Testament prophecies about Babylon. Even so, any prophecies that have not already been fulfilled about Babylon in the OT still must be literally fulfilled.

If you study all the prophecies about Babylon, you should see the parallel in Revelation to what is said in the OT. The OT prophets make it abundantly clear that Babylon is a literal city located on the plains of Shinar.… continue reading

Trusting Jesus gets us eternal life but faithfulness determines eternal rewards

In my last post I made it clear that the gospel of John indicates that salvation comes to those that believe (trust) in Jesus. The reason some Christians add things to salvation is not because they themselves are lost. Saved people often add requirements to salvation because they never learned understanding. They do not know the scriptures or they mishandle the scriptures, and then want everyone else to comply with their own misunderstanding.

Gospel of John refutes salvation through perseverance theology

The reason I fell away from the Roman Catholic Church when I was in my teens was not because I did not believe in Jesus. Believing the story about Jesus being the Savior of mankind seemed like the only possibility to me for as long as I can remember. I fell away from the Roman Catholic Church because I did not believe in their requirements for salvation.

In any honest analysis, the Catholics teach salvation through your own efforts and obedience to their church along with your own perseverance in their teachings until the end. How Catholics are to do that is fully laid out in their church catechism.… continue reading

Worldwide falling birth rates signals 2030’s end of the age harvest

The Bible clearly likens the end of the age to being a great harvest of people. The people of God are reaped and stored in God’s barn and allowed into the Lord’s kingdom. The people of the Devil are gathered in bundles by angels to be burned and their souls are cut off from the earth. Harvests occur when the crop reaches maximum yield. One of the most overlooked signs of the times by Bible prophecy teachers is world demographics. Birth rates falling below replacement levels has never occurred in the history of our planet.
