I have severe medial issues so I will stop posting articles and I will be closing comments for at least awhile.
I have had chronic medical issues since last fall. The blood tests indicate internal bleeding and bacteria infections. A recent CT scan revealed that I have a mass in my gut that is larger than a grapefruit and I also have two spots on my liver. The large mass is what is known as a GIST and is probably a soft tissue sarcoma.
The mass is probably too large to be taken out by surgery. I know the surgeon that ordered the biopsy said he cannot do it. So it looks like they will have to try to shrink the GIST using chemo. The problem with that is that I am already anemic and am getting weaker, and by the time they get going on shrinking the tumor I may be dead. The chemo they normally use for the treatment also can cause internal bleeding so that complicates the issue.
If I even survive long enough for the treatment to be of any benefit, I will most likely be sicker than a dog from the chemo and certainly will not want to be spending a lot of time investigating current issues to write about, or sitting in front of a computer. If the treatment starts, I also will be taking a number of long drives weekly for treatment and followup procedures.
I know where I am going when my body dies, so I am not really concerned about prolonging the life of my body on just my account. Actually, I am looking forward to getting out of this wicked world. I have severe arthritic issues that make living increasingly painful anyway. Any effort to prolong my life for a few years is really about this website ministry and about financial issues impacting my wife.
If I survive for awhile, and it turns out that I will not be as sick as I think, I may reopen the blog. I probably already wrote about everything I know anything about anyway. I started my website to share with people what I learned over the decades and to give that information out for free.
I will leave readers with a few thoughts:
Evil reprobate criminal minded people have obviously taken over the world in almost every nation and at almost all levels. Sane people will not be able to put up with the tyranny and the crime for long. Even if the reprobates tried to eliminate all the good people on earth they would soon turn on each other. So the immediate future is sure to bring about massive upheavals all over the world.
This probably does not immediately mean that the Antichrist will take over. The evil fruitcakes running the world today will be dealt with in short order by the general population, just like happened in past world history. Eventually all the turmoil in the world will set the stage for the rise of the Little Horn of Daniel. The scriptures indicates he will come from a small people northwest of Israel and he will rise to power by speaking great things.
The rise of the Little Horn will happen post Rapture after the restrainer is removed, so don’t waste your time trying to figure it out now. I will remind everyone that nothing in scripture says there is just seven years from the Rapture until the Second coming. There actually could be a gap of decades. Enoch (an OT type of Rapture) was taken about a half generation before the flood judgment.
The gap may allow for scriptures about the ten kings, the Harlot and Babylon to be literally fulfilled. This may happen after the great conflicts on the immediate horizon play out. Christians error by not taking prophetic scripture literally enough.
I am not impressed by most so called Bible prophecy experts on the media today. Most of them really just do it to make a living. There is nothing wrong with teachers of God’s word making a living off of teaching His word, but most of the “Bible prophecy teaching” today is nothing but endless speculation. And some of these so called “teachers” are actually self-absorbed unteachable loons. Christians just love listening to those that will scratch their ears. Whole Christian networks have been built on it.
I recommend Dr. Andy Woods for general teaching and for in depth Bible prophecy teaching. He tries very hard to get scripture correct and keeps everything in the proper context.
For weekly updates on world events and how it might relate to Bible prophecy I think John Haller does the best job by far. He does his homework and he is not doing it to make a living. That does not mean that he does not sometimes promote and associate with the more problematic “prophecy experts”.
God knows everything that we do. Born from above Christians are actually left on earth to carry out God’s will on earth. That means doing what you know is right. If you continually promote or accommodate what you know is evil, you cannot expect to receive accolades from the Lord. You might be better off sucking on a gas pipe than building on the house of Satan by promoting and accommodating obvious worldly evils. Unfortunately most so called Christians either from ignorance or on purpose are not doing what is right. You learn what is right by learning from God. That is done by studying the scriptures. Most “Christians” only know the Jesus they make up in their own mind.
I do have an email address. You can find that from the top bar or from near the bottom of the home page of this website. I do not want to list it here because that brings spam. Even so, I might not be able to respond to emails and I probably won’t be replying to general questions on Bible prophecy. Ask Dr. Woods about such things, he addresses the relevant issues quite well. You can search my website for what I wrote on the issue if that is what you want to know. That is best done from the search-box near the bottom of the website home page.
There are over 200 articles on this blog and a 1000 on my previous blog. There are also many thousands of comments. A couple hundred of the most important articles that I have written can only be accessed from the home page of this website. You might want to check out those articles.
Thanks to those who contributed to the contents of the blogs, Thanks David M, for your proof reading and for your corrections over the years.
Farewell readers, until we meet again!
