Don Koenig’s 2021 Bible prophecy and geopolitical update

Obviously the geopolitical situation in the world is now rapidly changing. I think this will continue, because the final stage setting before tribulation events begin to play out is underway. The stage setting will be followed by the rise in Europe of the little horn mentioned by Daniel and the riding of the four horsemen of Revelation. At that time, Gog will also expand its influence in the area of the old Soviet Union.

Keep your eye on France. There is a Catholic right wing anti-immigrant anti-Islamic movement rising rapidly. Marine Le Pen of the National Front political party (now called the National Rally) may even win the spring 2022 presidential election. Even if she does not win, the movement is causing President Emmanuel Macron to move right on nationalistic issues. The majority in France are fed up with the Muslims and their failure to assimilate into the French culture. There are no go zones for non Muslims all around the major cities of France.

I have been saying for over two decades that the migration of Muslims into Europe would bring about a civil war in the 2020’s, and that would also result in a war with the  Islamic states that they came from. It now appears this will start in France. Many retired and active French military have recently said the same thing. They ought to know. The military will become directly involved in any civil upheavals.

The majority in Catholic France will not allow the Muslims to subvert their nation. They hate what these Muslims are doing to their nation. The rise of Catholic French nationalists makes sense in the end time geopolitical picture. The civil war and resulting war with Islam brings the rise of the little horn who grows exceeding great toward the south, east, and toward the Holy Land (Da 8:9). The south, would be North Africa. That is where most of the Muslims of France came from. The east, would be the Middle East nations.

The Bible suggests that the little horn and future Antichrist is ridden in by the Harlot of Rome (Rev 17:3). In other words, the Vatican will support the creation of what the Bible identifies as the Beast Empire. Even so, once the Beast is fully established and the man leading it becomes supernatural. He turns against the Harlot woman that brought him to the dance (Rev 17:16).

There is old Catholic prophecy (Catholic Prophecy – The Coming Chastisement, Tan Books, 1970) that says a great Christian monarch will rise at a time of great strife in Europe and this king will restore order and Catholic rule until the time of the Antichrist. The Jesuit order was created and has been working all over the world for centuries to put the world back under the Pope. Keep in mind, that Catholicism believes that they have the only true God ordained religion. They believe their God given mandate is to rule the world in the place of Christ.

There is nothing new under the sun. It only makes sense to me that the two great Abrahamic but apostate world religions would once again fight each other for control of the area of the Old Roman Empire. Islam will once again lose.

America is becoming rapidly weakened by the communist coup that took over, so the timing for the rising of a new world order out of Europe seems most timely. After all, the Roman Empire is the final world empire mentioned by Daniel.

Since the Roman Empire came into existence, Antichrist prototypes have always risen out of the area of the Roman Empire. It will not be any different when the next one rises.

Many Bible prophecy watchers want to hear that the present conflict between Hamas and Israel will result in something that has prophetic significance. I do not think it does. I do not think this present conflict with Hamas is going to spread to include the Arab states, Iran or the Hezbollah faction of Lebanon. If that were to be the case, it probably already would have happened, but obviously Iran is not telling Hezbollah to attack Israel now.

That is because Iran wants nuclear weapons. They do want a wider conflict upsetting that apple cart. The big winner of this conflict probably will be Benjamin Netanyahu. He will probably get to continue to run Israel. The conflict and the leftist disinformation is also sure to spread more hated and violence against the Jews around the world.

In spite of what some “Bible prophecy” teachers are saying on the media, I do not see Psalm 83 taking place now, or see Gog coming down against Israel in the next couple of years. I think Gog will take over the area of much of the old Soviet Union before any invasion of Israel. When Europe breaks down into civil strife, the leader of Russia will see it as an opportunity to expand his influence over the whole region.

The prophecy about Elam has fulfillment in what is now part of Iran, but the fulfillment requires a great coalition of nations coming against Elam. Iran and its nuclear weapons program could be the very reason the little horn expands toward the south and east with the help of the military of other western nations.

If you old Bible prophecy students recall, the Gog invasion looked imminent at the time of the peak of the Soviet Union. End time events and the coming of the Lord at that time, was apparently delayed. NATO backed by America was used to hinder the Soviet plans. I think the next great build up led by Russia will even be greater than the former Soviet Union. Gog will fulfill the prophecy when he knows little stands in his way. That is why it will take direct involvement by God’s angels to stop the Gog invasion.

Which leads me to UFO’s. It seems few on earth know why they exist and what they are. I think they will be involved in earth affairs in the end times. The world is ripe for deception. After the Rapture they will be part of the great deception.

Even some of the most watched right wing “Christian” talking heads on the media think these UFO’s are advanced extra terrestrial or inter dimensional craft and contact with the beings flying them will result in a paradigm shift on earth. Unfortunately, most of the “Christian” talking heads on right wing media do not have a Christian worldview. They know little about what the Bible says, and they obviously were taught absolutely nothing about future Bible prophecy. They are wide open for deception.

The recent cyber attack take down of the east coast gasoline pipeline should be a wake- up call to all Americans. Our infrastructure is very vulnerable. There will be more attacks. Next time it may even be our electrical grid. Those that operate our infrastructure apparently focus more on profit than security. That has to change in a hurry, or we could be in a world of hurt. Russia, China, Iran and North Korea have cyber capabilities that far exceed these cyber criminals doing it just for ransom money.

I think Russia and China have the capabilities to take down much of our infrastructure whenever their cyber warfare people are given the go ahead. It is things like this that do not give me a lot of hope for America’s future. We now live in a glass house, but we keep throwing stones as if we are invulnerable. Things in the world have changed since the only threat to America was the USSR. We better make our own security the top priority. Those living in America today really do not want to have to experience how or why America was taken out of the prophetic geopolitical picture.

    Hello Don,

I think you are correct concerning France. It is not widely reported in the media (no surprise here) but I read an article recently that hundreds of churches in France have been desecrated in the last few years. Hmm, I wonder by whom? When the Notre Dame fire happened there was a video circulating on YouTube that showed a video feed from a webcam of the cathedral and in the video you could see what appeared to be a Muslim man on the scaffolding at the top of the church as it was under renovation at the time and then the church was engulfed in flames. The video has probably been buried. I have work colleagues who live in France and they told me that the situation is very tense with the Muslims since they will not assimilate into the French culture. This sounds like a powder keg just waiting for the right moment to explode.

  2. Steve says:

    Hey Don,

I enjoy the geopolitical updates you give. Very interesting information about France. I had read where some in their military were warning about civil war. I also know the Vatican had been promoting this immigration from the Muslim nations, perhaps that was the plan all along, to create a situation where only war and conquest could restore order and reestablish Roman rule and Catholicism.

Macron seems too weak to me now to be the little horn, of course I could be wrong, and once Satan indwells the man of sin, I guess it won’t matter what he was like prior.

As for Psalm 83, I agree. I always thought it was possible that it could have already been fulfilled in the Six Day War or perhaps in conjunction with all of Israel’s wars since her reestablishment. You’re also likely right about the Magog invasion timing. Although I’m not so sure that Russia has to be at least equal in her strength as she was during the Cold War. Simply combing Turkey into the alliance gives you one of the largest militaries in the world. If Pakistan is also included along with Iran and the others you’ve got quite a force. You may be right though as you are certainly more attuned to these things than I am.

    Blessings

  3. joe savio says:

Yeap, there is nothing new at least under our sun, that which was shall be. In the past the Muslims ( Moors) and others were kicked out of Europe and it will most likely happen again, in the past Hitler used the Jews as the scapegoats, now someone else is going to use others to rise to full power. The problem is not just Frances, Merkel let close to a million in, England has same problems as those of France and Brussels is brewing, eventually the pot is going to boil

  4. Toby Covington says:

Good blog Don much to think about. Looking at your timeline for Christ’s return I would have to say more likely in the 2040’s Jesus returning with the rapture in the 30’s, but I certainly wish the rapture would happen today. And I may be very wrong of course, you state that the likeliest year for Christ’s return being 2034. And I see you still feel that way? Also with the current events around Israel, it seems every time there is a flare up, many prophecy “experts” say here comes Isaiah 17:1, or Ezekiel 38, or Psalm 83. And then things settle down, as we see now with another possible ceasefire ( which Joe thinks he should be credited for lol). But it has led to a worldwide unrest for hatred for Israel. I think Hezbelloh will be the bigger threat to Israel, but they are waiting with Iran. Hamas will probably wait a while, then attack again when they are ready, shoot their little rockets then hide behind Palestinian civilians, and when Israel retaliates they can show the world Israel is killing civilians. Israel needs to destroy Hamas.

  5. Jim says:

Its hard to say how geopolitical events will play out. Usually cooler heads prevail and wars are averted. That said, I also think we are about two decades from the return of christ, and if true things need to rapidly change.

I think we may see the return of Christ in the late 2030s instead. Seems like too much of a coincidence for the 2520 (2484 converted years) cycles to end so close to major historical events pertaining to Israel. The last cycle would end around 2039 and the tribulation could actually begin very close to 2000 years after Jesus ascended to heaven. This also gives a few more years for things to play out which I think is needed.

I think the UN somehow moves to Europe, probably Rome. For that to occur something drastic would have to happen to take out the US. From there a revised EU becomes the epicenter of global politics. Bill Salus may be right about Babylon being Rome. Makes a lot of sense in some regards especially if you have the UN and the vatican in the same city and only having a decade or two left. The verse regarding babylon as the beauty of the Chaldeans is problematic though.

As for France, I still see Macron as one of the best possibilities of an AC figure at the moment. With him becoming more nationalistic and tough on Islam I could see a future where he leads an EU campaign down to the Middle East.

  6. Mike Mullin says:

    Great article Don.

I was a little surprised ‘Christian’ Glen Beck was stating on his show that there are many other alien races out there.

It is also interesting to hear Lou Elizondo state that a very senior US Gov’t official told him that these UFO’s were – demonic – something Nick Pope’s UK gov’t contacts have said.

  7. Derp says:

There’s one thing that’s always bugged me.
If Aliens were our so called gods (or rather false gods) and/or fallen angels, then that would put Christ and God in that category in a sense as well as their angels. If that is the case, the only way I can see a resurrection is via cloning the dead back to life. Assuming they get the DNA samples. And how can they hear our prayers in that case?
That’s a question I’d ask anyone who decides to follow these aliens if they exist.

But on that same note. If the whole “alien” thing is a hoax. A farce. A deception, pulled off by Satan and his angels, and there are no actual aliens. But just simply demons acting as such and pretending, to appeal to us, then that means the other angels that did not rebel are the same type of spiritual entity. And as such this preserves God and Christ’s divine nature.

If there is a deception and people fall for it, that’s the one question I’d field them.

I dunno. Whole thing is way above my head or pay grade I guess. But then again I’m still a bit disappointed that we didn’t see Gog and Magog and are therefore that much further from the Rapture. Was hoping it’d be sooner than later.

Guess we have to keep the faith and keep on trucking, keep our chin up.

  8. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Mike,

Glen Beck is a Mormon. Mormons are not Christians even through they want to be called Christians. Mormons believe human males eventually evolve to become God’s of their very own planet.

    https://www.thepropheticyears.com/cults/mormons.HTM

One thing for sure is that angels still loyal to God will not be involved in deception.

  9. Jim says:

    Derp,

Many people believe the Gog war is after the rapture so chances are you probably won’t see it anyway.

I do wonder if the overflowing scourge that is mentioned in Isaiah is actually referring to Gog and his allies. Israel sees this massive army coming, panics, and agrees to a defense pact with the AC regime. After Gog is defeated (mostly by God) Israel signs a covenant with the many instead kicking off the final 7 years.

  10. Derp says:

    Jim.
That. Actually makes a lot of sense.
Still, I wish the Rapture was sooner than later. But I think a lot of us do.
Had a dream about it last night. Was building a tent, and I was told soon as the tent was built, God would arrive and judge the nations. Was probably my mind recounting data about the tent with the arc of the covenant and stuff from Bible stories. Not that I think it’s a vision. Just the brain sorting through random data bits. Because there were also french fries. All over the place. ALL over the place. Probably again the mana from heaven thing, but you know, Americanized.
Woulda been nice to find some ketchup.

Back on topic though, as an ex Mormon myself, Don is right about what they believe. They seem to mistake glorification and becoming like Jesus to literally becoming Gods and calling “god” a rank. Some of our hymns actually talked about how “Joseph walks with ‘gods'” and there were plenty of hymns glorifying him as if he were on par with Jesus, and also stating that we needed HIS seal of approval to enter Heaven, and not Christ’s.

Good people at heart, but very deceived.

  11. Allen Shappell says:

    Hi Don,
I love your web sight an your intensive research and analysis of current events. I am curious if you still are of the opinion that the rapture will occur before 2025 as you stated in an article you wrote in 2018? So many additional signs have happened since 2018. I read your 2021 prophecy analysis article and some of the comments included opinions indicating Jesus returning in the 2030’s and even the 2040’s. I didn’t notice any rebuttal or contrary opinion comments on your part? I seems hard to believe with all the “convergence” of signs occurring at such a rapid pace that this world could last much longer. Your insight would be most enlightening. Thank You.

  12. Jim says:

Yea you gotta wonder why the AC confirms the covenant. Something must have just happened. Obviously most likely a war. If not the Gog war then the seal wars.

  13. rob says:

John speaks of 7 kings in the Apocalypse. This indicates the seventh power to come. The seventh was to follow Rome

You will probably delete the entry as usual. But I will ask. When will the great tribulation begin? I read, you said, the first tribulation phase will begin in 2020, you wrote about it in 2018 !!

  14. Derp says:

Right. Obviously there has to be a reason, a motive. Or rather, since the AC is an opportunist, an opportunity for him that it presents. Some sort of chaos for him to create order out of, just like most of the NWO, WEF, and other globalist garbage are continually creating to bring us to our knees and convince us to let them fix things. How much you want to bet the AC or his handlers/support cause the conflict, so he can take advantage of it?

  15. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Allen,

I regret using the word “before” in the title. I actually meant the Rapture seems most likely to me to occur by (the end) of 2025. I still think that is likely, for the same reasons mentioned in that article.

  16. Don Koenig says:

    Rob,

I do not delete your comments. Your comments are being monitored for good reason, and I usually just do not post your inappropriate remarks

The seven kingdoms of Revelation contain the four kingdoms mentioned by Daniel. Rome was the last one. Seems Rome is still with us, and is trampling the whole earth as Daniel said. Daniel speaks of an eighth kingdom that is of those seven. Apparently Rome turns into the Beast.

I never said the tribulation would start in 2020. I probably said I think the tribulation will begin in the 2020’s with the second coming in the 2030’s. I have been saying that for decades.

  17. Craig P. says:

    Don,

Thanks for wading in to the alien thing. I’m fielding this topic in my realm as well.

I am mostly handling the alien discussion by stating that all things / all forms (living and otherwise) are created (by God, and, in difference to Barrack Obama who has no idea, God is in control — beyond any imaginations of the unbelievers / scoffers).

If I attempt to bring Nephilim into the discussion, then I have usurp that aspect with the flood context.

Since almost no one (in America) is teachable, and I’m not sure how much else of the world is lending an ear (until maybe the next labor pain), suffice to say I’m pretty much just waiting for departure. I’ve already decided I’ll just leave materials behind — that’s easier than trying to pawn it off. I just try to put everything to His use that He has put under my auspices.

    Blessings.

  18. Steve says:

I wonder if it is possible that the Antichrist and or the false prophet are actually “aliens” and that is the great deception. Perhaps they look like humans and claim to be of the alien race? Maybe that is why the world accepts their power and rule?

  19. Joe savio says:

The rules are that they will be like sort of hybrids, one being from the abyss rises directly from it but he must have and physically posses a flesh and blood body.

  20. Allen says:

I am currently watching a video made by a Freemason insider talking about their goals and so forth. The video is 5+ hours long and can be found on the Liberty Daily site under this title “Insider Exposes Freemasonry as the World’s Oldest Secret Religion and the Luciferian Plans for The New World Order”.

This dovetails with the discussion that revolves here to a certain extent. I watched 30 minutes so far. The author says that these people want to reduce the population. They can be easily seen (spotted) by their handshake, covering their eye, or placing one finger over the lips to indicate silence.

I would not be surprised if the little horn that Don speaks of is not a Freemason. The penalty for breaking their oath of silence is death. Could these people be behind Covid19? Do they know about the strange aerial phenomena we have seen? Depopulation seems to be one of their goals. I will watch the rest of the video as I get time (it is very LONG, but very interesting.) If one goes to the Liberty Daily aggregator site, the topic is second from the top. This is an interesting topic that Don may have not considered (secret groups).

  21. Dave says:

I do believe there is going to be a gap of time between the rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation period. It could be a couple of months or it could be a couple of years. Something to consider because many believe that it is the rapture that kicks off the Trib. Not so! The rapture is an isolated event that has nothing to do with God’s program with Israel. It is Daniel 9:27 that kicks off the Trib. There still needs to arise ten kings BEFORE the antichrist comes on the scene (Dan. 7:24). Also, see Dan. 11…there are still some future wars that need to be played out before the AC rises. Again, these wars could last a couple of months or a couple of years. Having said that, the rapture can take place NOW.

Also, 2025 seems to be a very significant year for U.N. Agenda 2030 concerning depopulation, along with the Great Reset. In my humble opinion, these agendas are describing the coming Tribulation period that lines right up with Rev. 6. Satan and his minions are ready to “rock n’ roll,” but can do nothing until the church the body of Christ is removed first. Not being dogmatic here, but I believe the rapture is sooner than any of us can imagine. Maranatha!

  22. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Dave,

And what people fail to understand is that the whole economic system of the world will fall apart in the next year or two. Can we even imagine the disordered in the streets when everyone goes broke and there are no jobs and everything handed out by government comes with strings attached?

  23. joe savio says:

Call me crazy, but i have always believed that Mr.AC appears first to confirm the 7 year Covenant, he’s not supernatural yet when he rises at the beginning, the 10 Kings rise for only 42 months final 3 and a half years and he rises even more so amongst them, i could be wrong but there is no Biblical Passage to support that the 10 Kings appear first, but the prophecy does indicate that Mr.AC first makes his ‘Diplomatic’ rise when he confirms the covenant with many for a week and i don’t see any 10 Kings then and there, at the beginning of the 7 year Treaty

  24. Dave says:

Joe, In Dan. 7:24, “And the ten horns out of this kingdom (the coming NWO) are ten kings that shall arise: AND ANOTHER SHALL RISE AFTER THEM: And he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings (this is Mr.AC). It is the AC that rises AFTER the ten kings have risen. This is what the verse says.

The “he” (Mr.AC) continues on in Dan. 7:25…”And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws…”

  25. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Joe,

The little horn arises after the initial 10 kings. That does not mean they are in existence prior to the seven year covenant. It does not mean they are not in existence either. However, it is likely that the covenant is signed when the little horn grows toward the east and south (the white and red horse) and that means the 10 kings also were in existence at that time.

Da 7:24 And as for the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall ten kings arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings.

  26. Jim says:

Its interesting how the 10 Kings were in existence a bit before the AC, yet it says 10 Kings were given power by the AC for 1 hour later in revelation. Are these the same Kings? It almost seems like the first 10 Kings may be a regional coalition like the EU and afterwards that model becomes global.

  27. Steve says:

    Jim,

Perhaps that is when the Antichrist gives them full authority. Maybe when these 10 kings/kingdoms are established, the nations they represent still have some anonymity. When he comes to power, maybe they morph into this new empire, surrendering all authority to this new Caesar. I also believe it is possible that we already have the 10 kings/kingdoms now. They could be in the form of some economic system like the G-10 nations which includes: Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. What’s interesting is that Canada was the 11th nation to join. Trudeau is quite the Communist, of course this could all be nothing.

  28. Dave says:

When we look at Daniel chptr 11, these future wars concern future kings (north and south). See v.6, “And in the END OF YEARS they shall join themselves together…” v.8, “and he shall continue MORE YEARS than the king of the north…” v.13, “…and shall certainly come AFTER CERTAIN YEARS with a great army and riches.” This is future tense. Verses 21-45 describe the little horn/AC; and v.22 & 31 relate to Daniel 9:27. Just some food for thought.

Steve, I too considered the economic system as it appears we are headed towards a technocracy. Who knows for sure??? Most of us never saw this PLANdemic coming and look where we are now. Thank goodness, we serve a sovereign God!

  29. Steve says:

Dave I think you’re right. I ultimately believe we will see the little horn come from the remnants of the Greek Empire. Who really know though? Maybe the little horn is in command of those ancient areas?

  30. Michael A. Merola says:

Don, if I posted this in the past dust it, but regarding UFO’s…I have for years read secular dystopian writings by virtually anyone who wrote on the topic. I would humbly suggest reading Childhoods End by Arthur C. Clark, written in the 50’s. Im not suggesting he is a Christian or this is equal to Scripture, but damn if it aint timely. I wont give up the whole plot because it is worth reading, but suffice it to say that, after @100 years that the aliens made contact with humanity, they finally revealed themselves to the World. They were very tall with horns and a tail. Seriously. coming soon to a planet near and dear to you.

  31. Jonathan Meyer says:

Thank you so much Don as usual for your continued eschatological watching. It helps me greatly. I have a question regarding Isaiah 10:24 and 14:25. In some translations the word is “Assyria” and in others it is “the Assyrian” and these verses have been used to posit that the Anti-Christ will be Muslim. I’m pretty sure that is not correct but I was wondering if you could address this interpretation regarding the Anti-Christ.

  32. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Jonathan,

Some think the references to the Assyrian has already been fulfilled or is not referring to the Antichrist at all. In any case, the Antichrist might actually come from the area of Assyria but that does not mean he will be Muslim. When the Beast takes power, he will destroy all religion that does not worship him as God.

  33. Toby Covington says:

I think Joel Richardson thinks the Antichrist will be a Muslim, if I am not mistaken. Not sure your thoughts on him. I am sure many think he is a Muslim because of his cause of the beheading of the tribulation saints. I do not see a Muslim Antichrist taking control of the world, even though it is Satan’s greatest religion today I believe.

  34. Don Koenig says:

    Toby,

Joel is wrong on this issue.

The French revolution also beheaded people. The Antichrist little horn will come out of Europe and Europe will not be controlled by Muslims.

Here are some of my thoughts on the issue.

    https://www.thepropheticyears.com/wordpress/debunking-a-muslim-beast-antichrist.html

    https://www.thepropheticyears.com/emails/is_islam_government_of_antichrist.htm

    https://www.thepropheticyears.com/wordpress/will-the-antichrist-and-his-beast-government-come-from-islam.html

  35. Jonathan Meyer says:

Thank you Don, that makes sense. Why would the Anti-Christ come from a particular religion only to destroy it during the tribulation period.

  36. Toby Covington says:

Thanks I agree with you Don. Interesting reading your old posts and some crazy comments lol. I really like Dr. Reagan and will read his take on Antichrist not being Muslim

  37. joe savio says:

NO hard feelings, Joel Richardson was wrong on ISIS and he is no longer invited to many Churches that previously invited him at the height of ISIS, who he believed would take over the Middle East, with his Islamic Mahdi ( belief / erroneous eschatological
teaching ) but in reality ISIS was decimated by : Russian, American and other Arab troops. Muslim’s don’t have a monopoly on terror nor much less on nuclear weapons.

  38. Derp says:

    Jonathan.
Maybe he’s from that one growing up culturally but gets a messiah complex later or a serious ego. Or falls away from it’s own core tenants.

Those are always possibilities. Maybe Muslim by birth, but he throws it away later due to a complex. That’s one possible scenario I can think of that would explain it.

  39. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Derp,

Explain what? The recent teaching by former Muslims that the Antichrist will be a Muslim?

The facts we do know is that he will come from the area of the old Roman Empire, expand greatly toward the south and east, be supported by the ten kings ruling, but there will be a fallout and he will get rid of three of them, and we know the harlot will help him gain power.

I remind people that all the Antichrist prototypes came out of Europe. Hitler only being the latest. None of them were Muslims. The Antichrist will very much have occult New Age pagan beliefs like did Hitler, and when he becomes supernatural he will think he has become God.

  40. Jeremy says:

    Don,

Who else through time has been antichrist prototypes?
Who was the first and the next up to Hilter
What did they do specifically that made them prototypes??

  41. Dawson R Hefner says:

Just my opinion, but any of the pagan Roman emperors, particularly Nero. Napoleon would be another.

There is always a narcissist or several of them in charge in the right area of the world, any of them being potential candidates. Macron is worth watching because he is in the right area, has made comments in the past, and its kind of creepy that he has Emmanuel in his name, meaning God with us. Even if it doesnt turn out to be him he makes a good example of a candidate. Regardless, we will not be here to see who the man of the hour is.

  42. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Jeremy,

There was the Roman Emperors, the heads of the Holy Roman Empire, and then Napoleon and Hitler. Before that, there was Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander The Great, and Antiochus Epiphanes.

I am not going to get into a discussion of what they all did in the comments of an article.

  43. Jim says:

    Dawson,

Not to mention he wants to create a unified EU army and seems to be somewhat interested in the Middle East, at least more so than the other EU leaders. He is also quoted as saying he wants to rule like Zeus some years back.

Let’s say France becomes an epicenter for a clash between islamists and nationalists.

Let’s say a large terror attack then occurs in France that can be traced back to islamists in the Middle East.

Let’s say Macron spearheads a joint EU task force that destroys the radicals around Israel. Now you have the EU occupying the Middle east (little horn grows toward the east and South).

From there I could see something happening over the next few years that leads Gog and his allies to attack Israel (overflowing scourge?) Like I said earlier Israel could come under this EU umbrella and after a mostly supernatural victory sign a covenant with the many.

Of course none of this could just as easily happen.

  44. Derp says:

I was addressing the point that it would be weird for a Muslim to overthrow their own religion actually.
But really we have former Christians here in our own country that seek to overthrow their old faith too.
Just like there are non practicing Jews. I’m not saying he will be Muslim, I’m just saying that’s a scenario where I could see him overthrowing a religion he was raised in, because people rebel against those things all the time.
On that that same note though. I lean strongly towards European. Mostly because Europe is where the Roman Empire was.

  45. Steve says:

    Don,
I find China’s status as a world superpower to be quite intriguing in our time. I know Revelation talks of the Kings of the East marching towards Israel, but I believe you mentioned that it may not be referencing China. How likely do you think it to be that the US and China both essentially remove each other from the top? This could be economically, militarily, or both. Do you see China mentioned anywhere else other than Revelation? Could God use the US to defeat China for her atrocities, while also executing judgement upon the US? Do you think it’s possible that the US and NATO are engaged in war against China while Russia comes down against the holy land?

  46. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Steve,

Who really knows. I think the Communist thugs now running China will be soon be overthrown one way or another.

As I have said before, I think this present push for fascist world socialism will fail. It will not happen before the Beast takes charge and that only happens after the next great world war.

In the period between now and the Beast, the Harlot will come into her own.

  47. Allen says:

From what I have read in the news, China is getting very bold with regards to Taiwan. They regularly fly into Taiwanese airspace taunting the Taiwanese people.

If one thinks about it, this is the best time for them to act. I don’t think Biden will do much of anything regarding them because he is on their payroll (via Hunter Biden). Joe Biden is more interested in pushing Critical Race Theory, or sending pregnant women into warzones, or having Transexuals leading the troops, than protecting our nation. The guy is a puppet, a moron, and a crook.

China could take Taiwan right now and the US would do nothing (this is my prediction.) I think the next world war could start sooner than later (another of my predictions).

I’m sure the devil, his angels, and the Chinese/Russians are all laughing right now. They will continue to laugh until they see they are badly beaten.

  48. Toby Covington says:

Allen, that is a good description of Joe and pretty much the entire democrat party. There is also increased evidence that Covid19 came from a lab in Wuhan accidentally, or purposely. But I doubt Joe will do anything but the entire world needs to hold China accountable.

  49. Derp says:

    Don,
If the Church is supposedly out of here by your estimate of 2025 at the latest, that only leaves us about 3 and a half years (give or take a few months).
That’s a pretty narrow window. Can you see that happening in such a short span, or do you think maybe we’re looking at the later half of 2025-2030, and why?
It feels like there’s times we’re about to hit a hard bend forward but something seems to hold things back and draw them out.

  50. Jim says:

    Derp,

Take a look at Don’s timeline chart. Look at the 2520 year cycles and how they relate to Israel. Remember to use the approximated 2484 converted years. It cannot be a coincidence they end within 1 to 2 years of major historical events (some variance is expected). Personally i think we may have a decade or so longer than we may expect. Regardless I would be very surprised if we see the 2040s or even much of the 2030s.

  51. Steve says:

Well I think a big question about the time frame for the final seven years could have something to do with the length of a generation, and it’s relevance to Jesus’ words about the generation that sees the culmination of signs not passing away before all is fulfilled. When does the clock start on the final generation, and how long is a generation? Don I know you’ve written on this, so help me out if I’m off here.

Most if not all prophecy teachers start the clock at Israel’s reestablishment. Which I tend to agree with, but who knows. So, if we start there, we have to figure out when the time of Israel’s rebirth as a nation actually occurred. Was it 1948, 1967, or perhaps it won’t be until the Temple is rebuilt? Then, how long is a generation? 40, 70, 80, 100, or 120 years? Of course the Rapture can occur at any time, having no real prerequisites.

  52. Dawson R Hefner says:

Andy Woods says the generation passage means those seeing these events take place in the time of the tribulation will not all be killed off. It makes sense to me that way.

  53. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Derp,

Nothing has to happen before the Rapture can take place. My projections for the Rapture are based on the second coming being in the 2030. For many reasons, the way the world is going, I cannot see the world surviving past that.

Of course you cannot be dogmatic about these things. I have also said there could be a world reset of such a magnitude that man’s doings on earth could be set back decades. In that case the Rapture or the second coming could be delayed. I am referring to something like an all out atomic war or a pandemic on the scale of the black plague.

  54. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Steve and Dawson,

Dr. Andy Woods is correct. The passage was saying the generation seeing the first birth pains Jesus mentioned would also see the Kingdom fulfillment. There has been a lot of foolishness written on this passage.

  55. Craig P. says:

Speaking of birth pains, it seems pretty unmistakable to me that covid is a birth pain.

  56. Don Koenig says:

    Craig,

It is not any more of a birth pain of the Kingdom than past pandemics.

  57. Jim says:

One thing I have always wondered is how the world could see all the prophetic events of revelation play out before their eyes and still refuse to believe the truth. I mean there are dozens of very specific events. Besides that you have the two witnesses and then actual angels proclaiming the truth. I’ve come to believe that anyone who is unsaved during the tribulation simply does not want God ruling over them. The are incapable of coming to repentance and willingly choose to believe lies even though they may know the truth. Sort of like how the Pharisees saw the miracles of Jesus and decided to attribute them to satanic power.

  58. Martin says:

Jim, Matthew 13:13 is true for every person in every generation. They see, they hear, yet they refuse to see and hear. Everything related to God is stupid or metaphorical to them. I don’t see how, say, a 30 year old can not see that everything around us has a creator, yet they still think everything they see is here by chance. You should be either extremely stupid, insane, or not willing to admit the truth.

  59. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Jim,

That is what the tribulation trial is all about. All elected by God will come to believe the truth. That also explains who the rest are of. The trial is so only believers enter the Lord’s kingdom on earth. All the Satanic will be cut off.

  60. Allen says:

The number one show in the US according to Netflix is “Lucifer”. Why am I not surprised? I didn’t watch the show, but it said Lucifer did things like solve murders. Actually that makes sense because he tempts people to do things like murder, so why not have Lucifer rat on them by “solving” the crime so they are thrown in jail. The first time Lucifer did this temptation was with Cain and Able.

The entire nation gets more Satanic by the day! How much longer can this go on? The harvest is ready!

  61. Allen says:

I have a question for Don, or whoever may have an opinion. I was reading Revelation and then this from Don’s Revelation review…my question is when a certain hour to began, and how long the hour will be (in our time).

“12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

The ten horns are the ten world leaders that will receive a kingdom with the Beast. Whether they will be leaders of ten nations on the earth, or 10 zones in the area of the Old Roman Empire, or ten zones of the world is open to speculation. Both ten regional zones in the area of the old Roman Empire and ten world regional zones have been suggested by global think tanks like the “Club of Rome”. Both zone scenarios might be true. It might start with ten zones in the area of the old Roman Empire and then the revived Roman Empire becomes the head of ten world regional zones. We are getting pretty close to having ten regional economic unions around the globe already. In any case, the ten leaders give their power to the Beast. We are also told that three of the world leaders will be eliminated after the Beast/Antichrist comes to power.”

The first question is to establish how long the one hour actually is in our reckoning of time. Is the hour a literal hour meaning that the kings will have 60 minutes to rule, or is it according to God’s reckoning of time? I think 1 day with God is as 1000 years for us. If the later is the case, then 1000 divided by 24 hours equals 42 of our years if rounded up.

As of January 1, 1981 there were a total of 10 EU nations (I realize there are more than that today, but in 1981 there were only 10.) If I start my counting as of 1981 and add 42 I get 2023 as the one hour they have power; then they would probably go to war (Rev. 17:14). Which 10 would have the power with the beast is anyone’s guess. Question: is it possible that the EU has the 10 horns in question?

Revelation says: these have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

This describes the left to a tee: “these have one mind”. If anyone thinks differently, they are cancelled.

If anybody has an opinion, or gets time, I would like other opinions. This is only speculation on my part. I do not know what the passage means exactly.

  62. Martin says:

Hi Allen. In the EU there is something called the Council of the EU and its presidency is held by a different European Union country for 6 months.

“The presidency’s function is to chair meetings of the council, determine its agendas, set a work programme and facilitate dialogue both at Council meetings and with other EU institutions.”

It’s just my guess but I think this practice may be adopted by the 10 when they come to power. 6 months would be a reasonable time for an hour. After all only 7 of them will really rule and 7×6=42.

  63. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Allen,

I think one hour in Revelation just means for a specific fixed time. The Beast rules 42 months and the ten kings rule with him until the Beast kingdom is destroyed. The Beast only becomes the Beast during the last 42 months.

  64. Allen says:

Thanks to Martin and Don for the replies! What I said was only speculation with the understanding that I think that the EU (and the UN) are full of Luciferians. I think Satan is behind the push for globalism because of of the fruit they bear. They try to make that which is abnormal normal such as saying that men are women. People such as BLM try to defund the police, and antifa burn cities down (because the globalists are using these people to get control by creating anarchy).

I recently saw a video of a man who said he was an ex-Freemason Christian expose the Freemasons as Luciferians. He made some good points and spent hours showing the audience how to detect them. They are all over the place: in government, in entertaining, and in the media. They have infiltrated every aspect of our lives.

He maintained that they want to have control and to worship Satan as God. One of the goals of these people is to lower the world population down to 500 million. This was clearly seen on some granite slab structures that looked a bit like Stonehenge. The top line of the written part mentioned their desire to lower the world population (Gates is part of this push to lower population). If one searches for “Georgia Guidestones” on Wikipedia they can see the huge monuments and read what they say.

After reading that top line of the monument, I wondered if the Deagel group that Don mentioned in a previous thread know anything of this? It makes one wonder is these people have something planned and Deagel knows about it.

Anyway…thanks for the replies! You helped answer my questions.

  65. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Allen,

Satan is the god of this world system, so of course he is behind globalism.

  66. Adriana says:

I just read that one of the major agendas at the G7 meeting starting June 11 will be vaccine passports and a “world treaty” to prepare for future pandemics.

  67. Derp says:

Well tomorrow is June 1. We ready for that disclosure? I’m curious to what they will have to say even though I’m fairly sure most of it is a lie.

  68. Jim says:

    Derp,

I saw Obama said on a recent interview that there are some phenomena that we cant explain. Others have said the same as well. That said, why are most of these encounters at night, near modern military equipment? Logic would say they are most likely advanced military craft bring tested.

  69. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Jim,

Or perhaps defects in the military systems we have.

  70. Jim says:

    Don,

Agreed. One look liked a fly on the screen to me lol.

  71. Don Koenig says:

Russia is always tailing those ships. They could be sending up drones and hacking our electronics at the same time for effect.

  72. Toby Covington says:

With the warp speed pace Joe and the democrats are working to destroy America in every way possible, they seem to be doing a great job in doing the devils work in getting America out of the way for the end time world kingdom to start setting up. Don do you believe that the “new” Rome is the mystery harlot Babylon as the Roman empire is about to be reborn? Or do you think mystery Babylon is the real Babylon in Iraq that will be rebuilt to be the mystery harlot? If so they better get busy building because everything is picking up speed as we near the end. I think it is Rome, the Vatican.

  73. Toby Covington says:

I know you mentioned it some in this article but can you clarify it more. There are some passages in the Old Testament as well, referring to Babylon in the end. If it is the Vatican, why is it called Babylon? Why is it called a mystery? Only to be revealed at the end? Dan 12:4

  74. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Toby,

There is no literal “mystery Babylon”. It is Babylon that is the mystery. In Revelation 17 there is a comma after mystery. Mystery is not part of the Title. It literally reads, secret, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and abominations of the earth.

I think the Bible makes it clear that Babylon is in Iraq on the plains of Shinar. The only Reason some think Babylon was Rome is that Peter said he was writing from Babylon and the early Church make that allegory for Rome. Actually, Peter was probably writing from Babylon Iraq where there was a large Jewish population. There is no proof that Peter was ever in Rome. Remember Paul was the apostles to the Gentiles and Peter was the apostle to the Jews.

Having said that, Babylon is both all false religion and all the commercial world empires of Satan. It is this that will be destroyed in one hour. Even so, it all began in Babylon Iraq and its last headquarters will be in Babylon Iraq. We are told that wickedness will be moved there where there will be a temple built for it.

It can all happen rapidly after the four horsemen ride. It does not have to be a huge city it just has to be a city that represents the wickedness. I think the Alien deception will be instrumental in moving wickedness to that area of the world.

  75. Toby Covington says:

Thanks yes I can see what you are saying. As it was in the beginning it will be at the end. The fallen human race will once again set up another tower of Babel, so to speak. As far as the alien deception, there was a giant once in ancient Babylon named Gilgamesh I have read some about. May have absolutely nothing to do with anything but maybe it will have something to do with an alien in some way.

  76. Toby Covington says:

I know the Gilgamesh story may be just mythical folk lore, certainly not Biblical. It is in the book of Giants, for what that’s worth.

  77. Derp says:

    Jim,

I’ve also seen a lot of footage and videos as well showing crafts in broad daylight as well.

Lately though I’ve been sleeping restless. Sometimes feeling like something is in my room. A few of the dreams haven’t exactly been good either. But that was after I stopped looking at information.

In the dreams I always invoke the name of Christ and tell them to begone. Or remember to pray even in a dream.

One night I woke and thought I saw a figure next to my bed, the last week actually. Soon as I saw it, it leapt OVER the bed. I know it wasn’t sleep paralysis. Because I swung up and kicked it, and the second my foot connected, it vanished.
It could have just been leftover perception from a dream, but I saw nothing like that in a dream. Simply felt dread and woke. I’ve had that happen many times before at an old house I lived in, the bedroom was darker and larger, but that house always felt like something was there, and my friend who is a Christian said he felt it too, but volunteered it to me before I mentioned it to him. He’d also mentioned something moved a few figurines he had around, that they were in a different position than when we’d hit bed for the night. No one else was in the house and neither of us sleep walk.

The weird thing is after what happened, I felt sudden itching in random locations after. Is if I’d been attacked, but no marks.

With all the increase in sightings and paranormal activity I’m not 100% sure what to make of it. It could have just been the remains of a nightmare.

I know we’re supposed to remain on topic here, I assume it is, because I am concerned it ties in with the Great Deception coming, but if it is not, I apologize.

  78. Don Koenig says:

Any Demonic activity is all connected through Satan.

  79. Derp says:

Yeah, I’ve come strongly to that conclusion. Esp after reading some of the reports of military officials dealing with supposed entities in the bases underground, who identified themselves as Nephilim, and the officials were told never to even the name of Jesus around them, including as an accidental curse word when stubbing their toe.
Not sure how true those reports were but, it just feels right now like demonic activity is really on the rise. I suppose it should come as no surprise.

  80. Don Koenig says:

I would not believe 95 percent of what you hear on this topic. Anyone can claim anything. Where is the proof?

  81. Toby Covington says:

    Don

If the fallen angels are locked away until judgement, how are they going to make some “grand return” as many believe they will, maybe even in some grand entry such as an alien invasion some claim is coming. Have you ever heard of L.A Marzulli? Is he a quack or a credible person to listen to or read his books? Are they coming back “as in the days of Noah”, or is the “as in the days of Noah” verse only referring to people marrying, living as business as usual, then destruction will come suddenly?

  82. Derp says:

I’ve noticed LA Marzulli and Bill Salus tend to team up a lot. There’s a lot of talk among different pastors of the return of the Nephilim.

Frankly I’m just going to sit back at this point and watch what happens.

  83. Don Palmer says:

Derp, Please forgive me if I am being too critical, but you mentioned that you “invoke the name of Christ”. Christ is a title… it means the Messiah or Anointed One. His name is Jesus… Invoke the name of Jesus. That is where the power is. Again, forgive me if I am preaching to the choir.

  84. Kevin says:

Don, how will we know the beginning of real birth pains that are associated with the Kingdom versus everything else going on that people look at and say are birth pains? Are any before the Rapture or are they all post-Rapture? Thanks!

  85. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Toby,

Most of Satan’s angels are not in locked the Abysis. Only those that came down and produced the Nephilim.

LA Marzulli teaches some fringe stuff. I think Christians need to use biblical discernment, and not just believe everything that such people surmise.

  86. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Kevin,

Birth pains are related to the birth of the Jewish Kingdom. They parallel the seals of Revelation. I do not think the virgin bride of Christ experiences birth pains.

  87. Allen says:

Obama thinks if there is alien life visiting Earth, then that might create an impetus for people to form a new religion. Personally, I’m not convinced that the images I have seen up to this point are real. How do we know the government is being honest with us? They could be doing this to scare people into falling into their new globalist religion that Obama is a part of (Obama did mention that his own views of religion would not change if aliens were discovered). When he said that, it made me think that he wouldn’t change his religion because the aliens ARE his religion.

In order for me to believe that we are being visited by beings (whatever they are) from this world or another world, our government needs to be a lot more transparent.

What the pilots see could be an optical illusion, and the blips seen on the screens could be someone hacking the system. I wouldn’t be surprised if our own government was behind it. The only way to prove that what the pilots saw was real is to get verification from multiple trustworthy sources.

I just read that China is again threatening us with nuclear annihilation. They are preparing to invade Taiwan (in my opinion). We are being groomed by the leftist to be compliant to the government via the Wuhan virus that originated in China. The Chinese smell weakness with joe biden and see that now is the time to act. We could see hard times ahead. I don’t know about you folks, but I think a world war as seen by the prophets is in our near future.

  88. Jim says:

    Don,

Do you think the Elam prophecy and the little horn pushing into the middle east could be during the Gog war with the result of this war being the 7 year treaty the AC confirms?

  89. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Jim,

Probably not, the detail in Ez 38 and 39 does not suggest anything of the sort.

The Elam prophecy and the Little Horn prophecy would either be before the last seven years or during the first half of the seven years. The Gog war is probably near the end of the seven years but before the demons gather all the army’s of the world against Jerusalem and the coming of the Lord.

  90. Jim says:

    Don,

The timing of the Gog war is probably the hardest end times event to pinpoint. It just doesn’t seem to fit anywhere except after the rapture sometime.

I always thought it amusing that the world’s armies actually attempt to do battle against God Himself. Clearly the great deception involves higher evolved beings helping mankind resist a malevolent force from taking over the earth.

I’m always surprised Satan can see millennia of fulfilled prophecy and even know God from the beginning of time, yet continue to attempt to usurp His authority.

I hope these archived blogs and comments can be of some help to future tribulation saints.

  91. Martin says:

Jim, does Satan really have another option? He will either fight against God himself, or he will be suffering FOREVER. There is this last hope that never dies. Another prophecy will be fulfilled upon him for a 1000 years sharp, he will live it, and when released he will come back to lie again. Can you believe this level of idiocy. When you are led by hatred you can’t see most obvious of facts. It’s happening to every atheist every day of their life.

  92. Adriana says:

    Martin ,
You are so right about people being led by hatred. America and Israel are 2 prime examples. The left in America hated Trump and the left in Israel hated Netanyahu so much that both men had to go. No matter what these 2 men were doing for their countries in terms of good, the hatred by the left of these 2 men made people unable to see most obvious of facts as you said.

  93. Kevin says:

Don, if the Ez 38-39 war is late in the Great Trib, what about burning the leftover weapons as fuel for seven years. Do you think that’s going on thru the end of the Trib and into the beginning of the Kingdom? And how will they even make fires of modern or ancient weaponry? Metal doesn’t burn. Or does this mean something else? Thx!

  94. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Kevin,

The burning the weapons for seven years is the main reason this timing is rejected by some. Even so, all timings have their own problems. The answer could be that they burn the weapons during the Kingdom reign.

Modern mechanized weapons runs on oil so that might be what they are burning. Or perhaps by the near of the tribulation there are no more modern metal weapons and they have to resort to wood. How that could be is just my conjecture but acid in the atmosphere after Wormwood hits might make metal rapidly break down.

  95. Dawson R Hefner says:

You know I can help but think with the Pope getting in on the global warming train and how we have to stop it…has he read the end of the book?

  96. Derp says:

Well. Having a look at the information about the reports about the UFO report so far it all sounds as if they’re going to lie and say “there’s nothing there” or just be grey about it (pardon the pun).

Then again our government always thinks it’s ok to lie to us, for the “greater good”.

I don’t think they’re even going to lie and say there are aliens in order to create that great deception at this point. Just keep things quiet and mundane as usual so they can continue their slow chewing up of our country.

  97. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Derp,

You want them to make things up in the report to please you? Maybe they really can’t explain what they are. Other nations have access to much of the same information.

  98. Jim says:

    Derp,

I doubt we will see anything crazy this side of the rapture. More than likely we will continue to see the stage being set and the world sliding further into globalism and techno-fascism.

  99. Derp says:

    Don,

No. What I was saying is I expect them to lie to us because that’s simply par for the course.
Of course if a thing has a mundane explanation I’d expect something mundane.
I just don’t have any faith in them to tell the truth really at this point. That’s what I’m trying to say.
But on your note about not being able to explain what they are… who knows. I’m just not putting it above them to say “we investigated, it was nothing.” And that being a lie as well.
It’s hard to really tell when they are telling us the truth about something or lying to cover it up, when they have a habit and history of lying. It could be something supernatural that they say is something mundane. It could be something mundane that they hype as supernatural (less likely, that would require more follow up).
Or it could be the mundane labeled as mundane.
The problem is that it’s hard to trust any explanation they give really.
I guess the only way we’ll know is after the Rapture really, when we can sit down and talk with the Father about it all.

  100. Don Koenig says:

So trust scripture, government has its own agenda

  101. Don Palmer says:

I agree with Derp, their normal way of communication is by the lie! I expect that our intelligence has an idea of what they are… except, it may be spiritual manifestations (which they would stumble over). We all know that “aliens” or Nephilim will be part of the great deception after the rapture. Come Lord Jesus!

  102. Derp says:

I’m not really as familiar with the Nephilim other than weren’t they giants all killed (though other legends and other races encountered them too, after the flood).
And the Nephilim were bound beneath the earth right? So how could they be manifesting as aliens? They aren’t released yet?
But I’ve heard tales of the Greys and Reptilians beneath the earth. Is there a possible connection?
I started researching the Anunaki as well, there were some connections between them and the other religions as well.
I’m really not familiar enough with all of this to know what’s viable information and what’s “Alex Jones” grade. If that makes sense.

  103. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Derp,

It is the angels who left their first estate and mingled with women that are bound in the abyss. The Nephilim giants were their offspring. These were killed in the flood, but their evil spirits still wander the earth seeking bodies to possess. They are the demons.

  104. Jim says:

I see digital vaxx passes are starting to pop up in europe. In Norway first 4 letters of your name and your age with a red or green color to indicate your status and what you can go.

Morning Joe was on this AM and they started snickering when they mentioned that people will be forced to show a vaxx pass to go to a certain concert. These people are evil.

One of the biggest dangers of our time is this relationship between leftist businesses and the global fascists who want to control everyone on earth. What the govt cannot do businesses will do for them. This is how tyranny will come to many of us.

  105. Derp says:

    Don,
What about the Giants mentioned in later books after the flood, and the ones mentioned by the Native American Tribes and such? Possible manifestations of their spirits into physical things that were also eating people? Then again I’d need to look at the age of the burial cairns or hills mentioned in regards to them. Assuming they even got the ages right.

  106. Don Koenig says:

    Derp,

There are at least six theories. Look them up. Pick the one you like. None answer all the questions that will come up. I personally trend toward the wife of Ham having corrupted genes. There were actual giants in the land after the flood so, it not just demonic spirits entering normal people.

  107. Toby Covington says:

The Bible gives us Genesis chapter 6, and that’s all. Like suddenly, by the way, here’s what happened, believe it or not, and no more detail. We are left speculating how and what all happened. Books like Enoch and others may give us more details but they are not scripture so read them knowing they may be false. Many even believe since the fallen angels were able to have intercourse with human women, then Satan may have done the same with Eve, trying to corrupt the human race. With Jesus later saying basically the seed of Cain is of the devil? So everyone born of Cain, the first murderer, is from Satan. Sounds possible but scripture does not say that directly.

  108. Derp says:

I also remember hearing the Jewish tale of King Og riding some sort of animal next to Noah as well.
I’ve heard the corrupted gene one too.
I even heard a tale once that Cain was the son of the devil, that Eve slept with Satan.
Why is Enoch not considered scripture? I’ve heard it’s controversial but it was placed in our Bible. If Enoch can be questioned, then why not other Scripture?
As someone who questions everything, I question not out of disrespect, but because I know 1) I will get those questions from others when defending the faith. 2) The best way to ferret out lies is with questioning and comparing to Scripture. But if one book can be discounted as not Scripture, but still included, what is the bar I’m using to measure there?

  109. Don Koenig says:

The Book of Enoch has been corrupted over time. We would not even know which is the correct version. Therefore it cannot be regarded as scriptures. The Jews do not even include Enoch as part of their Cannon.

Other books we have in the Bible do not have that problem. These books were commonly accepted as scripture by the Jews and the early Church.

Most of the scripture in the NT was written by just a few eyewitness to the Lord. I think the Holy Spirit used these apostles to give the Church reliable NT scripture.

  110. Dawson R Hefner says:

What are your thoughts on the recent Israeli elections?

For anyone having the Javascript error
I had to clear my history and I turned Javascript off and back on.

  111. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Dawson,

The Israeli elections just show how divided Israel is. They will continue. This government will not last long.

  112. Toby Covington says:

I see alot of similarities with Israel and the US, with the divisions and how Trump and Netanyahu are now out. We recently had a president and administration that supported Israel like no other, now we return to one even worse than Obama.

  113. Derp says:

I’m a little confused. Iran is now crowing that their “enemies are gone” as if this new administration is exactly what they need. This new administration sounds like they intend on dividing up Israel (at least the way they sound very Palestinian sympathetic).
Is this whole thing supposed to happen as part of the plan? How does all of this play into prophecy?

  114. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Derp,

The left in Israel do not have anywhere near enough support to physically divide up Israel. Why would you think these minor changes will play into Bible prophecy at all? I think people are relying too much on those gathering a following and making a living teaching weekly very subjective prophecy updates.

People in America would be wise to focus on what is happening here. Because the way things are going we may not be around as a nation to see how prophecy plays out in Israel.

Nothing major is likely to change in Israel until after the Rapture and the four horsemen ride, followed by the two supernatural witnesses, followed by the supernatural Antichrist.

  115. Jim says:

I can’t imagine what would happen if it was undeniably proven that China and the globalist establishment in the US collaborated to oust Trump together through Covid and ballot fraud.

  116. Dawson R Hefner says:

Jim, if you arent following what is going on in Arizona…they seem to be getting close. I think there was enough fraud it will be impossible to hide it if even a few people get the stones to dig for it, and really what other choice is there?

As far as the prophecy update guys…I was enjoying watching some of them for a while as there is some good teaching mixed in, but they indeed are reading every current event into Bible prophecy. When it started to seem like they were just saying the same thing week in and week out it sort of turned me off too them. I asked Don about his thoughts on Israel because he does pretty good at tracking current events but doesnt usually read a spin into them, and I appreciate that. Examples from the last year by some of them: lightning struck the Washington monument(God judging the U.S.) even though lightning strikes there about a dozen times a year. “A flag ripped in a storm, must mean our country is falling apart.” The country is falling apart but the flag is not supposed to be flown in nasty weather if there is a potential for damage. Trump lost the election (it was stolen) “this must happen for Ezekiel 38” and so on. When there is real prophetic fulfillment of any event it will be and always has been unambiguous, specific, literal, and undeniable except for willful ignorance.

  117. Jim says:

Here are the men I hold in high regard and actually value their insights interpreting prophetic/current events:

    Don
    Pastor Brandon Holthaus
    Dr Ken Johnson
    Bill Salus
    Dave Cullen (Computingforever)

    That’s about it.

  118. Jim says:

Well it appears the msm forgot about covid like we knew they would have for the summer. I guess the 200k deaths under Biden were acceptable. They only now occasionally talk about “variants” to keep the public prepped for vaxx passes at some point.

One of the most infuriating speeches Biden ever gave that proved beyond a doubt this was a manufactured crisis was months ago in the winter. This was supposed to be the worst pandemic of the last century and he said we would be celebrating our victory from the virus on the convienent date of July 4th….

  119. Toby Covington says:

Yes more like we can all celebrate the 4th for the end of covid is near, and the removal of Trump has been completed. Mission accomplished good job fellas.

  120. rob says:

-Can we even imagine the disordered in the streets when everyone goes broke and there are no jobs and everything handed out by government comes with strings attached?- Russia and China know about this collapse, so they have accumulated large amounts of gold for several years

  121. Jim says:

I have been wondering how an ecumenical world religion could form in the last days. We see this forming in some ways today but i think the rapture is what really causes it to reach its final form we see up until the midpoint of the tribulation.

There are so many Christians around the world who practice their faith in secret for fear of persecution or ridicule. To the world it will appear that people of all faiths disappeared together. Besides many people claiming to be Christians will be left behind.

  122. Jim says:

    Don,

Back in 1988 many smart astute Christians thought Jesus would return. This happened again in 2000. Now many, myself included are looking to the 2030s. Were the people of the past not as astute as they thought or just over excited? Does God impress upon the church time is short or doesn’t He? If He does how did all the prophecy buffs get it dead wrong? Are we any different? People thought the signs pointed to 1988. We think they point to the 2030s. What makes us any better then those of the past? Any signs of the times (evil, tech, etc) we see today are very likely to be around only to a much more pervasive extent 50, 100, 200 years from now.

  123. Don Koenig says:

    Hi Jim,

Because all the world signs that actually mean anything indicate the world cannot go on much beyond 2030.

That is what this series I wrote over twenty years ago was all about.

  124. Martin says:

    Jim,

there is an American historian called Will Durant. He dedicated his life to studying civilizations. He wrote tons of literature and in the end of his life he wrote the book the Lessons of History.

While studying civilizations, their birth and decline, he has found out that ALL civilizations, no exception ever, are born in the same way and die in the same way. According to him once the signs of the decline of a civilization are seen to the complete decline of the civilization are 100-130 years. Again, according to him our civilization’s decline has started in the 1930s. All signs have already been present at that time. The thing is that our civilization is the last one. He didn’t know this because he was an atheist, but we do.

I know it’s a very long text but read it. This is an excerpt from his book he wrote in the end of the 1960s.
    ——–
When the group or a civilization declines, it is through no mystic limitation of a corporate life, but through the failure of its political or intellectual leaders to meet the challenges of change.

The challenges may come from a dozen sources, and may by repetition or combination rise to a destructive intensity. Rainfall or oases may fail and leave the earth parched to sterility. The soil may be exhausted by incompetent husbandry or improvident usage. The replacement of free with slave labor may reduce the incentives to production, leaving lands untitled and cities unfed. A change in the instruments or routes of trade—as by the conquest of the ocean or the air—may leave old centers of civilization becalmed and decadent, like Pisa or Venice after 1492. Taxes may mount to the point of discouraging capital investment and productive stimulus. Foreign markets and materials may be lost to more enterprising competition; excess of imports over exports may drain precious metal from domestic reserves. The concentration of wealth may disrupt the nation in class or race war. The concentration of population and poverty in great cities may compel a government to choose between enfeebling the economy with a dole and running the risk of riot and revolution.

Since inequality grows in an expanding economy, a society may find itself divided between a cultured minority and a majority of men and women too unfortunate by nature or circumstance to inherit or develop standards of excellence and taste. As this majority grows it acts as a cultural drag upon the minority; its ways of speech, dress, recreation, feeling, judgment, and thought spread upward, and internal barbarization by the majority is part of the price that the minority pays for its control of educational and economic opportunity.

As education spreads, theologies lose credence, and receive an external conformity without influence upon conduct or hope. Life and ideas become increasingly secular, ignoring supernatural explanations and fears.

The moral code loses aura and force as its human origin is revealed, and as divine surveillance and sanctions are removed. In ancient Greece the philosophers destroyed the old faith among the educated classes; in many nations of modern Europe the philosophers achieved similar results. Protagoras became Voltaire, Diogenes Rousseau, Democritus Hobbes, Plato Kant, Thrasymachus Nietzsche, Aristotle Spencer, Epicurus Diderot. In antiquity and modernity alike, analytical thought dissolved the religion that had buttressed the moral code. New religions came, but they were divorced from the ruling classes, and gave no service to the state. An age of weary skepticism and epicureanism followed the triumph of rationalism over mythology in the last century before Christianity, and follows a similar victory today in the first century after Christianity.

Caught in the relaxing interval between one moral code and the next, an unmoored generation surrenders itself to luxury, corruption, and a restless disorder of family and morals, in all but a remnant clinging desperately to old restraints and ways. Few souls feel any longer that “it is beautiful and honorable to die for one’s country.” A failure of leadership may allow a state to weaken itself with internal strife. At the end of the process a decisive defeat in war may bring a final blow, or barbarian invasion from without may combine with barbarism welling up from within to bring the civilization to a close.
