Final decade before the seven year tribulation probably has already begun

I believe we are now living in the final decade before the seven-year tribulation. If I am correct, it will be the last decade of the Church Age. Sometime during this period those born of the Spirit will be taken to be with the Lord and those left behind will have to go through the great trial on earth that will determine their eternal fate (Rev 3:10). During that trial people will have to get off the fence. They will either call on God so that their soul will be saved or they will follow the Satanic Antichrist.

The Kingdom of God cannot come on earth until all the enemies of Jesus are removed through these tribulation judgements.… continue reading

We do not have Bible prophecy all figured out so watch and pray

We all need to watch and pray because we really do not know how everything will shake out as we near the end of the age. I think a few surprises are in store for us before the great tribulation.

It now looks like Israel and Iran will be going at it. Iran has almost 100,000 troops in Syria and they now are threatening Israel. Israel said they will not allow Iran to establish military bases in Syria but Iran is establishing them anyway. If Iran does not reverse policy, Israel will soon strike Iranian threats in Syria. When that happens, Iran is likely to launch attacks against Israel.… continue reading

Israel’s 70th anniversary will result in something prophetically significant

On May 14th 2018 Israel will be celebrating its 70th anniversary as a reborn state. I believe something significant will happen during Israel’s 70th year that will be a game changer in the middle east and be a prophecy marker.

One thing fairly significant to Israel and her enemies was just announced by President Trump. He said he will move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem on their May 14th 2018 anniversary. What may prove more significant is the response to that by Israel’s enemies. Will the 70th anniversary of the state of Israel bring another war or a peace deal? Perhaps it will be both.… continue reading

Two prophets become focus of entire world prior to Antichrist

Little is taught by Bible prophecy teachers about the role of the two witnesses of Revelation 17. They arrive on the scene sometime after the Rapture and they witnesses from Jerusalem for 1260 days.

Bible prophecy teachers correctly point out that the last seven years starts with Israel signing a covenant but they seem to overlook the fact that the ministry of these two prophets also marks the beginning of the last seven years. The great tribulation is the result of the world’s rebellion against the message that His anointed prophets bring. Had the world repented and received their message they would have received God’s kingdom.… continue reading

Believers can expect the Rapture by 2025

We are a unique generation. For almost two thousand years Christians have waited for Jesus to return but most alive today will actually see that fulfillment. We Christians can and should see the signs of the times. I think all will be fulfilled by the 2030’s (I erred on the side of caution in that 2050 article.)

The Rapture occurs at least seven years sooner than the second coming. There probably is also a gap of a few years between the Rapture and the signing of the covenant that starts the final week of years for Israel. So let’s assume the time between the Rapture and second coming is only ten years.… continue reading

Prophetic implications of Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem

President Trump recently announced that America recognizes that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Some Bible prophecy update teachers suggest that this will now become the catalyst for Muslims to launch an out war against Israel. They are quoting the first verses of Zec 12-14. They seem to ignore the full context of the three chapters. These prophetic events occur at the end of the great tribulation.

This passage is not talking about Muslim nations coming against Jerusalem. It is about all nations coming against Jerusalem. This prophecy occurs when the Beast and the False Prophet deceive the nations and bring all nations to war against YHWH at Jerusalem.… continue reading

The coming purge by the Roman whore of Revelation 17

In a recent previous article I suggested that leftist permissiveness has gone too far and there could be a purge coming from the religious right. What I did not say is that I think much of this purge will take place because of the influence of the Roman Catholic Church.

There may be a war with Islam to bring about the rise of Rome, or it could come about through Marian deceptions, or through some other means, but I am convinced that the whore of Revelation 17 is the Roman Catholic Church. It is this woman that rides the Beast/Antichrist into power.… continue reading

MbS Saudi prince king could have prophetic implications

What is happening in Saudi Arabia has pretty much been lost in the sex allegations in the news. Even so, what happens in Saudi Arabia is very important to the world and is likely to have prophetic implications. Bible prophecy students should be closely following the events now taking place in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

Saudi King Salman has decided to step down and give his power over to his 32-year-old son. The crown prince is named Mohammad bin Salman (MbS is what he goes by). The transfer of power is underway and MbS is effectively already in power there.… continue reading

Satanic Beasts of Revelation rise out of the abyss not Islam

I find it interesting that in Revelation the Greek word for the Beast Antichrist and the False Prophet is that of a wild animal. The first time this Greek word appears in Revelation is in the days that Satan is cast out of heaven with all his angels. Earlier in Revelation the King James also calls the creatures around the throne “beasts”, but a different Greek word is used and that word simply means living creatures. The Beast name given to the Antichrist and the False Prophet depict that these beings are like wild animals in God’s eyes.

Chapter 12 of Revelation gives us the exact timing that the first Beast arrives on the scene.

Harbinger hucksters peddling blood moons and American chronicles

Christians will not get so easily mislead by the hucksters of harbingers peddling blood moons and American chronicles if they just checked out the context of the scriptures being abused for themselves. I will give a couple of examples.

Mat 24:36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

I don’t know how many times I have heard Bible prophecy speculators say that the Rapture will occur on the Feast of Trumpets because Jesus said it will occur on a day that nobody knows. They claim that Jesus in Matthew 24:36 was using a Jewish idiom and was actually telling people that the Rapture would occur on the Feast of Trumpets.continue reading

Commonsense reasons why Jesus returns before 2040

You do not need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that Jesus returns very soon. Here are just eleven commonsense reasons unique to our generation that indicate Jesus returns before 2040.

1.  We can know that Jesus returns before 2040 because mankind is planning to put a human colony on Mars by 2030.

Space X led by multi Billionaire Elon Musk has a very aggressive program to put people on Mars by the middle of the 2020’s. NASA and the European Space Agency are also planning Mars missions that should put people on Mars before 2030. I think China will also have a program to put people on Mars or the Moon.… continue reading

Perspectives on Trump and the Revelation 12 sign of Sept 23, 2017

I have to give President Trump credit. It took a lot of guts to withdraw from the Paris climate accords. I don’t think anyone else would have been so bold. The climate agreement has nothing to do with climate. It is all about global governance and wealth redistribution. The science behind global warming was always bogus. It is like the science of evolution. If you tell a lie often enough, and if you give jobs to only those that will promote the lie, the lie will be taught as truth. You cannot reason with those given over to a reprobate mind.… continue reading

Apocalypse Road puts gap between Rapture and Daniel’s 70th week

I had not read Apocalypse Road, by Bill Salus because I thought it was just the continuation of Revelation Road which I have read (it is). I thought it would just be telling me the traditional view about what happens after the Rapture (it does not). Apocalyptic Road is really about events in the gap between the Rapture and the start of Daniel’s 70th week.

I recently watched some interviews with Bill Salus on his book Apocalypse Road. What Bill said in those interviews sparked my interest because back in 2003/2004 when I was writing my Revelation commentary, I also came to the conclusion that everything said could not occur in just seven years like so many Bible prophecy teachers were teaching.… continue reading

The Portent continues The Facade

Dr. Michael S. Heiser has been brought up a number of times on this blog so I think a book review of his latest novel is past due. Fourteen years after The Facade was published Heiser wrote a sequel in 2014 named The Portent. I can understand the long delay. When one writes about how Satan and his Antichrist might go about deceiving the world, just regurgitating what is already widely taught is not going to add much to the debate. The Portent is loaded with new insights that could only be written about after they were first found.

In The Facade, Heiser generally went with the cutting edge conjectures being taught on Bible prophecy and UFO forums around the turn of the century.… continue reading

The Genesis 6 Conspiracy: Large collection of Gnostic lies lore and myth

The Genesis 6 Conspiracy, by Gary Wayne, was mentioned on this blog so a brief critique of the book seems appropriate.

I decided to get the book after I watched some interviews with Gary Wayne on YouTube. The book is about 800 pages and all of it is rather small print. The word count is equal to about three normal sized books. The book has almost 100 chapters. It includes a bibliography that numbers about 130 publications and that is followed by 100 pages of end notes (3000 to 4000 of them!). The book is a difficult read. There are a lot of mythological names to deal with.… continue reading
