United States no longer

This article is pretty profound and gutsy. I have said that the take over of America by the Far Left will start a secessionist movement by 2013AD. Even if the heartland people should somehow retain or regain power it will then bring a revolution from the coastal Left and the Liberal big cities. The differences have become so huge that they cannot be reconciled. Now the head of the number one alternative news site on the Internet believes it is time for the nation to split into two nations. Neither Joseph Farah nor I know how this amicable divorce could take place when the two nations are now so thoroughly integrated but the alternative is unthinkable.

This is only the start of the divide as the Left continues to vandalize the Constitution and outlaw Biblical morality and force their debauchery in state schools, as they continue to remove God from every aspect of our nation and pass every socialist bill, as they stop free Christian expression the secessionist movement will certainly grow.

Voluntarily migration seems the only answer to me but there would have to be some compensation for people migrating to make it even possible. Even then how would you split up the national debt, entitlements and national defense? The only real answer in my mind would be a Union of States or a North American Union (NAU) where the central government administrates those areas but allows much more autonomy to each member state. But wasn’t that the way the United States was designed to be in the first place? So how do you get Liberal big government socialists to agree to state rights?

‘One nation under God, indivisible …’?

Isn’t it time for separation? Is the breakup of the union really such a difficult thing to consider? When there are no new lands to discover, what choice do we have?

My vision of the world is one in perfect harmony with the Bible, the Declaration and the Constitution. But these standards have been run over, obscured, distorted, demolished, nullified, undone, vandalized. Since, historically, it was the Bible, the Declaration and the Constitution that held us together, what binds us today? Shouldn’t those of us who upheld the commitment to those standards have the right, in fact, the duty, to separate ourselves from those who have gutted them?

America was founded as a sovereign, independent nation. The vandals want to yield sovereignty to global authorities and make America interdependent.

America was founded with a federal government that was to be constitutionally limited in scope. The vandals have already succeeded in obliterating the enumerated powers.

America was founded as a nation of self-governing free people and sovereign states with significant authority reserved to them. The vandals have placed America under the shackles of a central government to which the states and people are subordinate.

America was founded as a nation of people “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” The vandals deny the Creator, invent man-made rights and deny life and liberty are sacred values.

We already are two peoples with irreconcilable differences sharing one nation. It’s time for an amicable divorce – with each people free to pursue their own way.

I don’t know how to make this happen. But I think it’s time to start talking about it – start working toward it. I don’t want to live under the consequences of the actions of the vandals. I don’t want my children to do that. There ought to be a choice. Maybe we can live side by side in peace as two nations, but we can’t live freely as one people any longer.

The moral justification for secession was found in our Declaration of Independence. It says governments are created to protect our unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It also says, “Whenever a government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it.”

  1. I read this and was amazed that someone of his stature had the guts to publicize this.

I do not see how we can have an amicable divorce; the hostile and duplicitous nature of the left precludes that.

So it will be a bloody civil war; I think the only question is when.

Interestingly, I am reading the many other conservatives are drawing the same conclusion. The left said they would “leave the country” if Bush was elected. The right is concluding that our nation rift can only really be solved (temporally) by civil warfare. THIS is part of the “whirlwind” that the left among us has sown.

  2. When they put their programs in effect and stop all organized political opposition (and they will) what other recourse will the heartland people have? It is no wonder that Christian people are now seeing that there is no compromise solution to this divide. Of course you know this is going to lead to persecution of the Church because those who actually believe in what the Bible says will be marginalized and intimidated and then criminalized and that will just put gas on the fire.

One thing we are going to have to be very carefully about is not to association with white supremacists and Nazis who will act like they are one of us but through their hateful actions and hate speech give the government good reason to bring police actions against any Secession Movement. Those mistakes were made in the Patriot Movement of the 90’s. I hope real American patriots will not make that same mistake again we will need poplar support for any chance of any solution in favor of our cause.

  3. Well said! Those Nazis and David Duke sort of people will only make you look bad. They are not followers of Christ no matter what they claim and they’d most likely want to change or do away with the original principles of the American Constitution. If not, they will certainly pervert its meaning. They are not libertarians or true conservatives but hateful fascist collectivists that ought never to be confused with freedom-loving people.
