Things are getting rather dangerous in the Middle East. It looks like Israel will now be at war with the terrorist groups until the terrorist groups are significantly weakened or this war escalates into a war with Syria and Iran.
I think God only knows what will really happen. Israel right now will probably only attempt to bring about the significant weakening of these terrorists groups so she can allow the creation of the Palestinian State. The majority of Israeli’s have bought into the view that this is the only solution for peace.
If Syria or Iran does something stupid, Israel and the U.S. might see this as a golden opportunity to take care of all the immediate problems in the area including the nuclear one. They then might take out the military capabilities of both countries.
Iran would be foolish to think that all Islamic countries would now support a war against Israel and the West if they bring it on themselves. The secular leaders in Islamic countries have far too much to lose. If the Iranian view prevails and radical Islam starts overthrowing these secular governments then of course all bets are off. If that happens, we will see a world war between Islam and the West.
Another two-sided wild card in all this is North Korea. If the US get involved in military action in North Korea, Iran might believe the U.S. is spread to thin and might move against Israel. On the other side of the wild card, if we bomb Iran, North Korea might think that they are next and attempt a preemptive nuclear EMP attack against Japan and/or the United States.
I do not think a world war with Islam will happen yet because the timing seems wrong. Islam still does not have the unity and the West is still too strong. Islam will probably make a move against Israel after a significant collapse of the world economic system brings internal social unrest in the West. The world economic system based on the U.S. dollar is looking very shaky and rising oil prices are not painting a picture of a rosy economy in the near future.
On the other hand, if we take out the major threats in the Middle East, oil prices will decline drastically and we could see a decade of peace in the Middle East. Of course this gives the United States another major incentive to take out Iran very soon.
In the short term, expect oil prices to rise and if there is disruption in the Gulf of Mexico again expect $5 gas. When gas gets that high bombing Iran might seem like the best option to forestall the inevitable economic collapse that is coming on the world.

If the second is the case & they do use these rockets, don’t you think that this would give Israel the opportunity to say well if they are going to use nuclear weapons then so shall we!. If that was the case do you think that the obvious target would be Syria & Damascus. Its just a thought fro what is being reported from WND & from my experience they do seem to be a very reliable news organisation.
If these things do come off or the chances of them coming of what is your thoughts on the situation then.

The US is in pretty bad shape but world governments will not let it go bankrupt right now. They hold too many US dollars. If we go under they can only use these US dollars for toilet page. So much wealth will be remove from the world system that it will put the world in a depression for decades. More likely, in the short term we will see a more gradual decline in the value of the dollars over the years. That will feed inflation in the US which could lead to a long term economic decline but I do not see everyone jumping on a bandwagon to dump the dollar overnight. I do think there will be a gradual shift to other currencies. Of course there are unknowns like a EMP that could bring a total economic collapse.
The links do not work but I read the original article the fed did not say the US is close to bankruptcy. One adviser to the Fed made that statement but he was not implying that is would actually happen any time soon.
I do not put much stock in the articles on WND. They have bought into every conspiracy theory in the book and their news sources reflect their worldview, they are not reliable. What they often say is not true, cannot be proven and time usually proves that the articles were wrong.
A dirty bomb is always possible. I am not sure it would be that effective. If it were used Iran could kiss their nuclear program goodbye. I know Israel will not tolerate WMD but I doubt if they would target Damascus with a nuke unless one of their large cities was actually nuked or it was vital to Israel’s survival. One nuke would not do what Bible prophecy declares to the city of Damascus. That would take 6 to 10 large hydrogen bombs. They could come from Israel, the US or even France or Britton if a large city was nuked and it was traced back to Syria. Then again the destruction of Damascus might have nothing to do with nuclear warfare at all. Hal Lindsey’s just posted a good commentary about what might be shaping up in that area on his website.

Everything I think about the situation is posted on my latest blog. I think Israel wishes to weaken the terrorists that they can live in security and sign peace treaties. If Syria or Iran do something stupid during this opperation then the US and Israel will probably takes this opportunity to demolish all state sponsored terrorism and the nuclear threat in the Middle East. Russia is the wild card but she is not strong enough right now to fulfill Ezekiel but she will be in 10 to 15 years.

Just out of curiosity, there is no doubt that there will be conscription for a majority of these wars,i’m a young man and i just wanted to know if the lord says not to go to war in these times and whether it is wise to sresist from enliting in the army
Obey the government. A war often is within God’s will to protect the inocent. Wars are often necessary to protect the world from evil doers. However, do what the Lord is telling you to do in every situation. God can use you in peace and in war
