As you say this is a real threat & I am sure that it is being thought about in very real terms by various Terror groups.
Just today the Arab TV station are claiming to have a tape by bin laden saying it is just a matter of time before a attack is carried out on the states. He claims that the only reason that this has not happened yet is because f the planning involved. He says planning something that big takes time, & lets face it if they wish to do something as big a 9/11, it will & does take time.
In various sites on this kind of thing it is claimed that these people do have the weapons now, that they do have nuke suitcases from the old USSR. That they do have nuke warheads & that quite a lot have been smuggled into the states.
If these reports are true, what could happen is beyond thought or belief. But they will go for the best way of destroying the states & that will be one of them. I just pray that this will not happen.
You mentioned Iran . Its odd as a national news paper over here in the UK has sneaked a reporter into this country & he is interviewing a lot of people about there so called president. What is coming out is eye opening to say the least. They are saying that the only reason they elected him in was because he told them he would be for them & he would get them all better life’s better medical treatment you can work out the rest. The thing is as soon as he get into power he changed what he was telling these people & he started his so called apocalyptic vision.
So the people of Iran are very frightened they do not want him to get any nukes. They are so frightened they will be attacked like Iraq, they are all on knife edges. But I do think that he will get his nukes, he will team up with Russia North Korea will be in there to somewhere along the line.
I know all these things are very bad & very frightening, but I just pray that we will all be taken before all these things start to happen. My heart goes out to those who have not accepted the Lord those who will have to go through all of this.
I ask daily that the eyes ears hearts & minds be opened to the truth before its to late. That they hear our Lord & Saviour Knocking at there hearts & that they let him in & escape all that is to come very soon.

I agree, they are planning something bigger than 9/11 for the United States.
They really want it to have such a shock effect that it will cause a panic in the financial markets and cause Americans to lose confidence in their leadership and foreign policy.
If it is really big or if two or more of them occur we can kiss what is left of constitutional freedoms goodbye.
I don’t know about the suitcase nukes. General Lead-head might have only been blowing smoke when he mentioned them. I have heard that the closest thing that Russia has to a suitcase nuke would be the size of footlocker and it would required several men to carry it.
However, Iran and North Korea are certainly a threat because Korea already has nukes and Iran could have some within months or a couple of years. The missile systems already exist on the black market to deliver them from a medium sized ship.
Most likely if a nuke EMP attack took place it would be hard to prove which country gave the nuke to the terrorists.
In any case, the American government is aware of the danger and I am sure they are watching things very closely. I do not rule out a preemptive attack on Iran and North Korea. Of course that scenario would not have a pleasant outcome either. If it happens it will probably be after the elections in the fall.
The President of Iran said he expects Iman Mahdi (the Islamic savior) to come in about two years and that his arrival will be followed by seven years of judgment on the world followed by paradise like conditions on earth. Many in Iran are buying into his beliefs.
This fits into my belief that their will be a false tribulation and a war with Islam and even Russia to set the world up to accept the Western Antichrist figure as the Savior of the world.
