Dr. David Reagan presents a series on the truth about Islam

Dr. David Reagan did a series on Islam on Wordview Weekend that was removed by them for some reason. Wordview Weekend breaks a lot of links to what they post and that is very aggravating. I went to Dr. Reagan’s website and found an article about the truth about Islam. This is probably the same information that was in the series that I partly quote below.

What Reagan says should do away with the misconceptions and false statements about Islam coming from our political leaders and even many who call themselves Christians. The God of Islam is not the God  of Christianity nor is Allah the God of the Bible.… continue reading

Do you attend a church that teaches sanctification of the soul or sanitization of the flesh?

Many of the leaders of our churches are teaching people how to live a more sanitized life rather than a more sanctified life. One message appeals to the flesh and the other matures the soul. If your in a church that teaches sanitization rather than sanctification you are probably among the majority. Many people today love the sanitization message because the message appeals to their bodies of flesh.

Just because the message is popular with the world does not mean it gives people the truth they need to overcome this evil world or that it helps Christians to grow. In fact, sanitization teachings often encourage baby Christians and non Christians to feel good about living in their fallen nature of flesh.… continue reading

The Book of Enoch and Bible prophecy

The Book of Enoch comes up now and then in Bible prophecy. So you might want to be aware of the arguments presented in and about this book. You have to be very careful here because some people will use the Book of Enoch for actually proving that aliens exist.

Alien Resistance and other Christian websites like them say that these beings will be nothing more than fallen angels setting the world up for great deception.

The theory by those who run the Alien Resistance website is that there will be a great deception in the last days carried out by fallen angels who will pass themselves off to the world as aliens from another world or dimension.… continue reading

Debunking the local Islamic Antichrist malarky because scripture actually indicates the Antichrist is Global

I am liking the teaching of Nathan Jones. He gives very good answers to those who expect a local Muslim Antichrist. Besides this article he also had a very good article the other day on the Divided States of America.  I wrote on this topic myself and like me, Jones also see the possibility of a break up of the United States because of deep moral divisions.

Having said that, lets go to this new article about the rational for a Global or Local Antichrist.

The Muslim Antichrist proponents see the Beast and its Antichrist fighting a regional war against Israel.… continue reading

The teachings of the author and finisher of our faith cannot be contradicted

This great article with many examples of what Jesus taught should put an end to postmodern and liberal speculations that claim biblical interpretations different from what the author of all scripture taught.

The fact that is will not put a end to their increasingly demented claims only proves that they have a different teaching then the Master that they claim to follow. So knowing these things why would any true follower of Jesus Christ put any stock in their claims? These unstable people  contradicting what Jesus Himself clearly taught need to be removed from teaching positions wherever they are found in the Church.… continue reading

Koenig’s Insights on these end times

The Handwriting on the Wall Reads – Prepare for the Apocalypse Now

The Handwriting on the Wall Reads – Prepare for the Apocalypse Now  – Insights on end times, by Don Koenig

Some have asked me how close we are to the prophesied end time events of the Bible and the promise of the second coming of Jesus. I am not setting a date but I have been indicating in my articles that by what I see taking place in the world, that all events are very likely to take place within two to three decades. I believe all that is written about the last days before the second coming of Jesus will most likely be completed in this period.… continue reading

Believing Amillennialism requires inconsistent hermeneutics and Eschatology

This is a good article that refutes Amillennialism. If you read the whole article that was quoted in part here and still do not understand the issues or still want to believe in Amillennialism you might read my own article on Amillennialism. It gives many more arguments and details. The facts are that believing Amillennialism requires inconsistent hermeneutics and inconsistent Eschatology.

Inconsistent Eschatology: Examining Amillennialism

Many read the Bible with two competing views mixing pre, post, and amillennial scholarship through the use of randomly bought commentaries. This “grab bag” of interpretations is sloppily promoted through prophetic guess sessions linked with every current event to hit the papers.

America is on the wrong track because the lights are out.

America is on the wrong track heading for a train wreck sure enough because the lights are out at the switch yard and America is traveling the wrong way on a one way track. The train wreck now seems inevitable unless someone turns on the lights so America sees the signs and quickly reverses direction.

If the light from God’s people are hidden under a bushel they cannot cast out the darkness. Some pastors and leaders in Christianity are the bushels hiding the light. The only way for lights to shine is to get out from under the bushels.

Dave Daubenmire — Turn on the Lights

So, where do we go from here?

Chuck Missler on the history of Christmas

Chuck Missler did a two part series on the history of Christmas.

I wish you all a Merry Xmas (joking). I wish you all a Merry Christmas and pray that you will have a fruitful New Year in Christ.

The History Of Christmas – Part I

The celebration of Christmas has caused some controversy in recent years, for a variety of reasons. Many have been concerned that Christ is too often left out of Christmas; replaced by trimmings and presents and fudge. Others have battled over whether we should allow manger scenes on public property or allow the school choir to sing Christmas carols that actually contain a message about Jesus Christ.

Oprah has rejected true Christianity for the satanic counterfeit

Lets not also forget “The Secret” and many other pagan books and ideas that Oprah supports besides just what Warren Smith mentions here.

It is no coincidence that Oprah is supporting Obama who has the same spirit of universalism. They both really worship the god of this world. Oprah believes that all ways lead to God or that we are all part of God apart from accepting Jesus the creator of the universe, the only possible savior.

The world is experiencing an invasion of doctrines of demons and it is coming through media, political leaders, and “Christian” religious leaders. This apostasy from the true faith to doctrines of demons was predicted for the end times.… continue reading

Don’t teach tithing, celebrate free will giving in your church.

I wrote a detailed article on tithing. So I am not going to rehash that here but just let me say the facts prove that most Christians do not tithe. The majority do not even tithe in tithing churches. And the tithe these churches claim is a biblical mandate is not the biblical OT triple tithe anyway.

Christians need to celebrate free will giving because God loves a cheerful giver. Also remember that many people are specially gifted to give. If Pastors would express the real needs they have in the church to the membership instead of trying to put all under a tithing bondage.… continue reading

Chuck Colson’s new book provides a theological grounding for Christians?

Chuck Colson is correct that the church in America needs to return to orthodoxy and truth. We need more leaders rejecting the postmodern trend that is rethinking and redefining known Christian truths.

Having said that, Chuck Colson is part of the problem because he wants the largely dead church in America to go back to the truth it never embraced. The true Church in America is much smaller then Colson would have you believe. It does not include most of the apostate Liberals and the Catholics that Chuck Colson so readily embraces as Christians. Most of these have a culture or a religion, not Christ.… continue reading

Is there a New Apostolic Reformation or an old deception?

I came across this excellent article today about “The Roots and Fruits of the New Apostolic Reformation”, by Bob De Waay. It is about how the Latter Rain movement morphed into the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).

Christians need to know the truth about these self appointed anointed and other Christians need to separate from these leaders bringing them into Apostasy.

One thing I have found out for myself over the years is that when certain leaders claim Apostolic positions and special prophetic anointing from God they are always lying.

Apophatic and Kataphatic Prayer

Apparently the emergent movement is redefining prayer for us. It is not enough to know that prayer is communication with God now you should know the difference between “apophatic” and “kataphatic” prayer. Well don’t panic, Eugene Peterson explains it all for us. Kataphatic prayer is praying with the eyes open and apohpatic prayer is praying with the eyes closed. Somehow all this profound wisdom reminds me of a old commercial. The one where they show eggs frying and equate it with your brain on drugs. You read the article and see where it takes you?

More Books and Things…: A Thing called Apophatic Prayer
kataphatic prayer employs thoughts and images while apophatic transcends these.

Carlton Pearson says nobody goes to hell and becomes a heretic

You cannot teach things contrary to what God said and be regarded as a teacher of the Christian faith. Carlton Pearson was a heretic long before he more recently proved it to his own congregation and his denomination. He was in the heretical name it and claim it Word Faith Movement that is so prevalent on TBN. Is it any wonder that these unstable men go from one heresy to the next? With Carlton the defining moment came when he came to believe that the Bible was not the world of God?? Now why would a “believer” ever believe that? Obviously someone told him the Bible was the world of God sometime during his life but he never ever found out the truth for himself.continue reading
