Unemployment in developed nations solved by a shorter work week

Do you realize that almost all countries in the world now have high unemployment? If one country finds a solution to unemployment in their nation it most likely will be at the expense of higher unemployment in other nations. China’s great industrial expansion in the last two decades should make that fact abundantly clear.

Industrialization of once largely agricultural societies like China and India have put out of business many manufacturing jobs in many nations in a very short period because with abundant cheap labor they can undersell them. The industrial workforce on our planet has almost double in a few decades and that is the reason for the high unemployment in the world.… continue reading

After salvation, relations become the important thing for Christians

I have been very frustrated with the ritual system that Christians call church. That was going to be the primary focus of this post today. Writing about this had been in the back of my mind since last weekend but thanks to my pastor’s sermon Sunday night I saw that I needed to keep things in proper perspective.

The most important thing in life after salvation is not getting everything in our churches done the way we think is correct, it is our relationships with others, especially with our eternal brethren in the Body of Christ.

My dissatisfaction had largely been because I think our evangelical churches have moved so far from the Biblical model that I was starting to wonder why I was still attending.… continue reading

The restrainer of 2Th 2:7 is not the Spirit filled Church

One of the great controversial mysteries of Bible prophecy is the identity of the restrainer of 2Th 2:7. This issue came up in a recent post and I took the standard view given by most dispensational Bible prophecy teachers that the restrainer mentioned in 2Th 2:7 is the Holy Spirit within the Church. Since then I decided to do a more in-depth study on this passage and to try to think things through logically.

First let me give the passage in question in it’s context. I am using the American Standard version because I think verse 7 there is a bit more true to the Greek than the King James and it certainly is clearer.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, Aug 2011

It is amazing how fast economic perceptions can change in just over a week. People have been speculating in the stock and oil market like we were really going to have a significant recovery. Apparently they do not believe what people like me have been telling them. There is no recovery! Suddenly the markets are acting like there is going to be a double dip recession. Three trillion dollars has been lost in these markets in less than two weeks.

I wonder who is losing the money? All I can say is that big time gambling has its risks, some learn their lesson and some do not.… continue reading

American Christians should expect troubles in this world

It is very naive and shortsighted to think that you will escape the type of troubles that have been common to all that lived in the history of the world just because your a Christian living in America. Americans tend to think that the future in America will continue much the same as they have experienced it over their short lives. They tend to think that no great troubles will impact their own generation. Nothing could be further from the truth.

There is nothing new under the sun, events on earth run in cycles. There is a time for everything. Americans just went through a time of relative peace and prosperity at home and now, very likely, we will go through a time of war, civil strife and economic hard times.… continue reading

Raising the debt ceiling won’t stop the coming economic collapse!

Since raising the debt ceiling is all over the news let’s cut through all the bull and look at the reality of America’s debt. Raising the debt ceiling won’t in anyway stop the coming economic collapse, in fact it makes it more likely. The debt ceiling really has no reason to even exist since whatever government spends is decided by Congress anyway. The debt ceiling is just a political football that the two parties use against each other every so often to try to force the agenda of the ruling party.

The debt ceiling is not the problem, our present national debt and our future national debt is the problem.… continue reading

The demonic progressive agenda to turn man into rebellious beasts

The scriptures say that God created man in His own image. Some ancient text scholars say it means that man was created by God to be His image bearers or imagers. I think that is at least partly correct. We can look at other passages and get some light on what this means. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the express image of God (Heb 1:3) and we know that Jesus as God’s image has the capacity to be God over all creation. In like manner, man made in the image of God was given the capacity to rule over the whole earth.… continue reading

SBC and Evangelicals seekers shift toward mystical emergent church

“Christian” leaders that appeared on the church platforms of Saddleback, Willow Creek, Crystal Cathedral and other mega churches told us that a “big shift” was coming in Christianity and it has. This shift has been from following the written word of God to following mystical beliefs. This will eventually split the Evangelicals and their largest denomination.

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and other Evangelicals are slowly but surely being led by the seeker friendly gurus toward embracing the postmodern relativistic mystical concepts and leaders of the Emergent Church Movement.

This danger is greater than the division in the ranks of the SBC some years ago when liberals had unduly influenced the SBC leadership.… continue reading

Veterans and retired people are held hostage to Washington criminals

I think It is time for war veterans and retired people in America to draw a line in the sand and tell those in the Executive Branch in Washington that we will not be held hostage to you criminals.

Today President Obama said Social Security, veterans and federal retirement checks might not go out next month if the debt limit is not raised. Congress will certainly pass and send Obama a bill that will increase the debt limit to pay the appropriations and If Obama vetoes the bill just because there are no tax increases in the bill, it will be Obama alone that will be responsible for screwing veterans and retired people.continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, July 2011

The data that came out today confirms that there has been no economy recovery in the United States. The official unemployment was up and no jobs have been created in the last two months and housing prices are still falling. So what has all this stimulus money bought to the common working stiff? Seems to me that the stimulus just brought more speculation in the financial markets and it put the nation much further into debt. The Government is still projecting 3 percent growth for the rest of the year. But, it won’t happen. They do not have a clue.

At this point in time the government is using smoke and mirrors to pay its debt obligations which are now about $14.5 trillion.… continue reading

The Iranian Syrian North Korean 2013 EMP Conspiracy

It seems to me that Americans are missing the obvious. Iran, Syria and North Korea are planning a surprise attack on Israel and the West and that attack will include nuclear Electromagnet Pulse (EMP) weapons. I think they will put off this attack as long as possible in order to get more weapons in place but I think the plan will be operational no later than sometime in 2013.

Anytime after 2013 the implementation of their conspired plan to destroy Israel and the West will be based on their threat assessment and we know that with North Korea that it does not take much of a threat for them to go ballistic (pun intended).… continue reading

Americans need to get out of pending war zones while there is time

Are Americans fed up yet? If not, I think many Americans will soon have had it with our government and our dependent class. I think it might be wise for some of you to get out of pending American war zones while there is still time left for you to do that.

Why should anyone think that a President given to America to bring judgment on America would now not bring judgment on America? The only question left in my mind, is will America learn its lesson and restore conservative constitutional sanity to this nation or will Obama get Americans permission to finish the job of cutting their own throats?… continue reading

Making observations while traveling across America

I just drove out east to Buffalo and back; the whole trip was about 2000 miles and took 34 hours. I spent most of that time listening to conservative talk radio. I found it to be a real disappointment. Almost everything was about Anthony Weiner. Conservatives are not going to win back this country by talking about the sex life of a democratic House member that represents a liberal New York district. They better start talking about important issues and real solutions if they expect conservatives to take back this country in 2013.

One example of good conservative programing was an interview with Ann Coulter.… continue reading

Just some more bumps in the road for Obama and America

Obama seems to think that every negative report is just a bump in the road on the path to his next hole. He may think he is on course but for Obama life is his recreation, it is all a golf course. The reality of it all is that Obama and this nation are going to hit bumps in the road or the remainder of his term and they are going to make for a very bumpy ride. If he even gets around the “bumps” and gets to the next hole he had better learn to master his sand wedge or the hazards on this real course of leadership will make him look like a rank amateur.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, June 2011

I have been saying ever since the green shoots statements that there is not going to be any real recovery under this administration. The last economic news is pretty bleak. Official unemployment from the government is back up to 9.1 percent and real unemployment is double what they report. I read where the average production non supervisory wages are less than $9 an hour in this country. Try supporting your family on that and those are the people who are working. Food prices are way up and both Costco and Wal-Mart have said higher prices are going to have to be passed on.… continue reading

Sunday church services are boring and probably not very biblical

I find Sunday services in most churches to be the most boring events on earth. I mainly go to them because of peer pressure and a place to find fellowship. There I said it, and I know that statement could get me in trouble. But realistically I do not think anyone locally really reads my blog posts anyway although a few say that they read them. If they do, nothing I have said recently has been worth a response from them. It reminds me of an old friend who calls a couple of time a year and tells me that she loves my website but I know she has not even looked at the website in many years or she would know that my website now has this blog.… continue reading

Biblical week indicates the kingdom on earth established 2030-2035

If you do a quick Google study on the Internet on the year that Jesus was crucified you will see that there are those claiming all sorts of proof why they know the correct year of the crucifixion. You can find some very good arguments why their date is correct but the problem is that their dates span every year from 30 AD to 35 AD. They might all have good arguments but they certainly can’t all be correct.

If you only read the arguments on one website you might be convinced that this is the year that Jesus was crucified but after you read many of these top sites that talk about the date of the Lord’s crucifixion you probably should come to the conclusion that a conclusive date for the crucifixion is elusive.… continue reading

Unless Americans reject evil, Obama will destroy this nation.

A country gets the leader the people deserve. Obama was obviously given for America’s destruction. I think the evidence of what he did thus far leaves little room for doubt.  After 2 1/2 years of Obama you would think Americans would have learned something, but that does not seem to be the case. Unless Americans suddenly turn from their evil ways Obama will finish the job given to him.

We are less than 18 months from the next presidential election and as of right now Obama has a 50+ percent approval rating in the polls and not one potential Republican candidate matches up with Obama in the polls. … continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, May 2011

Rev. David Wilkerson died in a car crash late last month. He was best known nationally for the book “The Cross and the Switchblade”. He was pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. Wilkerson also has warned this nation of coming judgment on this nation for over thirty years. Whether his highly published visions of judgment were actually coming from God like he claimed or just from his own mind because of his fear that God would judge this nation is debatable. (Even Wilkerson said the failed prophecies that he made probably came from his own fears.) Nevertheless, what Wilkerson generally perceived that would happen in this nation becomes inevitable if people in this nation continue the downward spiral into wickedness.… continue reading

Touring America out of my mind for those preparing for TEOTWAWKI

I have been to many places in my life so I can pretty much tour America right out of my mind for those of you that are going out of your mind looking for a place to relocate so that you can prepare for TEOTWAWKI. Obviously I have not been everywhere so if you know of good places to live or a place to avoid I am sure others will appreciate your input.

I will start my preparing for TEOTWAWKI tour on the left coast:

California – Some part of California will probably appeal to everyone. It has all the climates that you can think of, it has beaches, mountains, deserts, forests, big cities and very rural remote places.… continue reading
