Most people who claim to be Christians in this postmodern generation say they follow Christ. However, their world views and beliefs display that the Christ that they claim to believe in, is not the Jesus Christ that the Bible defines. These pseudo Christians have worldly humanistic world views. They do not have a biblical Christian worldview. They are usually found on the wrong side of most moral and biblical positions.

Christianity is just a religion that they were brought up in or talked into. They follow teachings of religious men, but do not follow the teachings of God. They do not even know what God said, because they show little interest in learning the Bible at all.… continue reading

Some claiming to be among Christianity would have us think that the universe that God spoke into existence for His own purpose is not really under His control. They have a God that dwells in creation wringing His figurative hands just hoping that someone will love Him and be His friend. Aww…poor God!

Ten years ago while in a LifeWay Sunday School group I challenged some of the points of theology of the “teacher”. He whined to the pastor and the pastor told him that he might listen and learn from me. He got so upset that the pastor did not get on my case that he went into a hissey fit and quit the church. The pastor did tell me that I could be more tactful. I agree. Tact never was a strong suit of mine. Emasculated men often have the emotions of women. In my article of Feb 10th, about the coming foreign wars, I said to keep your eyes opened for Russia invading Ukraine after the Olympics. At that time, our State Department was saying that Russia would not invade Ukraine. It should not surprise anyone that this Obama administration would be wrong. They have been wrong on everything.

It was not crystal ball gazing on my part that led me to suggest that Russia would invade Ukraine. Israel has officially started peace talks with the “Palestinians” again. The so-called Palestinians say they want a state between Israel and Jordan but they already are the majority in a state called Jordan. What they really want is to take over land of Israel. Maybe they think the prosperity of Israel would transfer to them if they occupied Israel? Someone ought to tell these delusional dependents that it takes education and hard work to build up a prosperous society. If these Arabs took over Israel it would be a barren desert again within ten years.

Spiritual formation is gearing the Church up for self delusion

The greatest danger to Christianity today is the downplaying of biblical doctrine. The Church is built upon the word of God given to the prophets and the apostles for leading people to Christ and for maturing believers in the faith.

True Christianity is not built on personal feeling or what you think God is saying to you because you learned to practice certain spiritual disciplines. Yet, that is what many Christian leaders and Christian education centers are teaching others.

Petrus Romanus: an exercise in finding the future in the demonic

In 2009 Tom Horn gave us his theory in his book “Apollyon Rising 2012” that the Antichrist would make himself known between the year 2009 and 2012. Three years later Horn has followed up with a book that has the False Prophet coming to power in late 2012. This book seems designed to complete his theory based on many private mystical and pagan prophecies that the Great Tribulation starts near the end of 2012 and ends in 2016.

Some in Christian media have been doing interviews with Thomas Horn so I decided to read a couple of his books. I recently read “Apollyon rising 2012” and I will soon read his latest book “Petrus Romanus”, which God willing, I will comment on sometime in the future. The title “Apollyon Rising 2012”, implies that Apollyon of Revelation 9:11 will be rising in 2012 but If you believe that you probably already have been hornswoggled.

New evangelicalism usually also means denying Bible inerrancy

I recently read the book “New Evangelicalism“, by Paul Richard Smith, founder of Calvary Chapel Victorville CA. Paul Smith is a leader in the Calvary Chapel movement founded by his brother Chuck Smith, who also wrote the foreword to Paul Smith’s book.

The book gives a brief history of modern Protestantism beginning with modernism where scripture became critically analyzed through the filters of the philosophies of 19th and early 20th century humanist intellectuals. This humanistic intellectual analysis of the scriptures became known as “higher criticism”. I took one of those silly “higher criticism” courses in college myself.

I will give you my own take on modernism; most of what I will say about modernism in Christianity does not come from Paul Smith’s book, but from what I read in his book, I think Paul Smith would agree with most of it.… continue reading

The scriptures say that God created man in His own image. Some ancient text scholars say it means that man was created by God to be His image bearers or imagers. I think that is at least partly correct. We can look at other passages and get some light on what this means. The data that came out today confirms that there has been no economy recovery in the United States. The official unemployment was up and no jobs have been created in the last two months and housing prices are still falling. So what has all this stimulus money bought to the common working stiff? Seems to me that the stimulus just brought more speculation in the financial markets and it put the nation much further into debt. The Government is still projecting 3 percent growth for the rest of the year. But, it won’t happen. They do not have a clue.

Those American Idols that are pushing modern heresies on people may think they are being opened minded but they really have become a willing door of Satanic deception. Obama may want Israel to attack Iran

After reading the latest news report on Fox News about Iran’s nuclear progress and the doubts that the Obama approach will stop Iran , I have come to the conclusion that Obama is not serious about sanctions. The facts are that Obama and his cronies continue to obstruct any meaningful sanctions on Iran. Obama may actually want Israel to attack Iran for reasons I will get into shortly.
