Seeds of deception conference

Your kids will be publicly introduced to Eastern religious paganism and the Dalai Lama at the “Seeds of Compassion Conference” by direct participation of your public schools. Now why does it not surprise me that heretics Desmond Tutu, Rob Bell and Doug Pagitt will be speakers at this conference.

They will even have a Yoga secession for children ages 6-10. How nice!

After reading what is going in the Emergent Movement and New/Age does any astute Christian still think they a Universal one world religion is not well underway?

Obama’s religion of Black Liberation Theology

You do not stay in a church for 22 years unless you agree with most of its theology and their Black Liberation Theology is well documented even apart from the statements of its former racist pastor. Obama might have joined them for political reasons but if you are going to flock together with racists do not whine when people consider you one. He also has not left the church in spite of their continuing emphasis on race. In reality I think Obama is a Universalist that will identify with any religion if it will help him achieve his political goals. He also obviously thinks like a socialist Marxist it is reflected in his voting record and that also is the thinking of many within Black Liberation Theology.… continue reading

The Extra Catholic Books of their Bible

Have you ever wondered why we Protestants do not include all the books the Catholics do in their Bible. This article will give you a pretty good education.
clipped from www.lavistachurchofchrist.org

Many today are sadly lacking in information as to the extra books
found in the Catholic Bible and just exactly how they got there. Many Catholics
sincerely wonder why and how we can say we have the Bible and yet do not include
these extra books which are obviously to be found in theirs. What do they
contain! Why are they there! Are they essential to salvation — and if not why
not?

Emerging toward a cosmic consciousness with the Devil

Astute biblical Christians knew that these emerging birds would come to merge with the universal, pantheistic, pagan flock of vultures that claims it will soar up to a higher plain of cosmic consciousness.

“New age” leaders have fed the gullible this line for several decades. The difference now is that the leaders have changed their name to “New Spirituality” and they are now in the church teaching very dumbed down, biblically illiterate church members their doctrines of demons.

It seems that Western emerging “Christianity” needs the hope of a evolutionary mystical experience to replace their “Old Spirituality” that is now on life support.… continue reading

This Jeremiah is no prophet – Wright is wrong

Some black preachers just want to tell other blacks what they want to hear. There are white preachers that do the same thing though focusing on other fleshly issues. Pastors need to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ not some social gospel that appeals to the flesh. This is why Jeremiah Wright is wrong. Preaching rebellion against white America is not prophecy, it does not build up the body of Christ, it is divisive, not biblically founded and it really is rebellion.

If Jeremiah Wright is a prophet, Isaiah wasn’t

The essence of the real prophets was not that they said things that disturbed people; the moral essence of the prophets was their moral clarity.

Oprah promotes Eckhart Tolle and doctrines of demons

Oprah believes there are many more paths to God other than Christianity. Eckhart Tolle who is promoted by Oprah thinks the current awaking will bring us into the universal consciousness, “A New Earth” where your collective identity will be “I Am” (the name of God).

Oprah is being watched by Christians like she has truth and Eckhart Tolle’s book “A New Earth” is big among “Christians”. Eckhart Tolle says unless you have this shift in consciousness and stop resisting this collective consciousness you will not enter the New Earth which is a physical manifestation of the New Heaven (that leaves out all Bible believing Christians).… continue reading

Obama believes in salvation by your own works

Obama believes a person who led a moral life will go to heaven apart from accepting Jesus as Lord. This is clearly not Christian teaching so I do not know why some still insist that Obama is Christian. What Obama supports proves that he follows the teachings of Karl Marx and his religious views prove that he believes in Universalism.

If he really wanted to apply the teaching of Jesus in a concrete way he would tell people the true gospel. That salvation comes from what Jesus did period, and no ones good works will save them. Good works on earth comes from the spiritual new heart of Christians not from increasingly fascist worldly government oversight.… continue reading

Give your cash to TBN hucksters so God can bless you?

I love Steve Camp’s reasoning here.

Is God Short of Cash?: The Myth of the Prosperity Gospel – CWN

I was on a famous Christian TV show several years ago before their demise. During a ‘commercial’ break, the host of the program told me if I would give $100 to his ministry the Lord would give me back $1,000… I asked him politely, “Sir, where does it say stupid written on me?” He was a bit shocked and asked me, “don’t you believe that the Lord will bless you by giving your money to our ministry?” I told him, “No way”; and that furthermore he didn’t even believe such a thing.

Jim Wallis: Delusions from the Left

Jim Wallis has delusions of grandeur as he sees himself leading a “Great Awaking” of us blind evangelicals into his pathways to a socialist secular utopia.

Yeah sure Jim, are you taking your medicine?

FrontPage Magazine

Sojourners chief Jim Wallis is leading a new “Great Awakening” in America, according to his new book by the same name.America’s first Great Awakening was in the mid-18th century, when revivalist preachers like Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield preached a Christian revival that won thousands of converts. Later great awakenings in the19th century likewise strove to win lost souls for Heaven.

As the Religious Left’s modern “prophet,” Wallis is interested not so much in Heaven but in expanding the welfare state, restricting the free market, reducing American influence around the world, and apologizing for the Islamist tyrants and Marxist dictators who are ostensibly victims of American imperial overreach.

Wright taught hatred toward whites, He is not Christian.

Obama in his speech twisted words for his own advantage to making the same old “blame whitey” claims for his perceived race problems in the U.S.

As if whitey forced many blacks to become amoral and destructive? Could it be that the real motivators for black amorality and hatred is the type of churches leaders that many choose to go listen to and be brainwashed? Churches led by evil people like Mr.Wright (no Rev. deserved) that teach hate, Marxism, and that take anti American and anti biblical viewpoints on every issue.  These are churches that are really racists Marxist cults. They do not preach a biblical Jesus Christ at all.… continue reading

The Church should police its own

Government is going after them because the Church will do nothing to police its own. Word Faith prosperity teachers should be shunned as heretics. Any TV network and Radio network who airs their programs should be dealt with severely by the denominations. Those ordained ministers who help support networks that broadcast Word Faith heretical teaching should be subject to being defrocked.

Having said that, the prosperity message is popular because many Christians are greedy for material gain. It really reflects the state of Christianity in America.

Feds Need to Cage Every Crooked Evangelist Going – J. Grant Swank Jr. – Mar 14, 08

Jesus would never sanction what today’s evangelists—especially those on TV—are saying and doing.

This elevator is going down

Here is a very good summery of the latest going on with many of the “Christian” leaders that seem to be running their own heavenly elevator. Next stop the bottom floor.

clipped from www.letusreason.org
We welcome new leaders and recognize them for their service to Christ. Today
there are many new leaders, but there is a shortage of biblically well trained
leaders who are aware of the issues and have answers to them. There are just as
many new leaders serving an agenda, themselves and money than Christ.
Postmodernism, pluralism, relativism, interfaith and occult ideas and practices
have reached so deep into the church that we can’t seem to see through the murky
waters we are now swimming in.

A model for blasphemy

You be the judge.

BLASPHEMOUS: HOW TERRIBLY SAD WHEN OUR PRECIOUS LORD JESUS CHRIST IS TREATED AS THE PUNCH-LINE TO ONES SICK JOKE

May I encourage you to be a Berean today. Examine its claims with the Word of God and then let me know your thoughts. And be forewarned: the way Mark refers to the Lord Jesus Christ is blasphemous; the way he wrests Scripture is unnerving; and the way he views the text of Song of Solomon is pornographic.

Beer and wine use among Christians

I know where I stand on this issue. Drinking was in common place in the early church but obviously getting drunk and being a every day drunkard was never acceptable. Martin Luther and John Calvin and the Catholics believed it was a gift of God. It still is considered that by most in Christianity today when used in moderation. Having said that, it is not acceptable to get intoxicated in the worship service but moderate use  of alcohol should be acceptable in feasts and social gatherings.

Abuses by some led certain feminists to push their own views on everyone else through dominionist laws while most of our men were off to war.… continue reading

“The Shack” is “The Message” outhouse.

“The Shack” is not about a basketball player it is a book that twists the Gospel. If you are buying into the message of this book thought up in an outhouse you are buying into damnable heresy. The endorsement on the cover of this heretical book is from Eugene Peterson, author of “The Message”. “This book has the potential to do for our generation what John Bunyan’s ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ did for his. It’s that good!” Eugene Peterson, author of The Message (Front cover endorsement)

I for one am fed up with those who quote “The Message” as if it were the Bible.continue reading

Does Chuck Colson know the Christian faith well enough to teach theology?

I wrote some about Chuck Colson and his new book that claims that Christians do not know their theology like the Muslims. It was posted on this Blog on Feb 15th. Chuck tells us his book will provide a new theological grounding for Christians. Not the Bible, Chuck’s theology in his new book.

As I implied in my article, Chuck Colson’s version of Christianity is a little too broad for me. I mean, Colson even suggests that all those that are ignorant of their faith are Christians. I guess he believes you are a Christian if you attend a Christian church.… continue reading

Is there a New Apostolic Reformation or an old deception?

I came across this excellent article today about “The Roots and Fruits of the New Apostolic Reformation”, by Bob De Waay. It is about how the Latter Rain movement morphed into the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).

Christians need to know the truth about these self appointed anointed and other Christians need to separate from these leaders bringing them into Apostasy.

One thing I have found out for myself over the years is that when certain leaders claim Apostolic positions and special prophetic anointing from God they are always lying.

Rick Warren continues to make very bazaar statements

Rich Warren says the future of the world lies in religious pluralism. Does this man read his Bible at all? The future of the world lies in Jesus Christ alone. Why are Christians still following this double minded man?

Secularism is quite small outside Europe and Manhattan,” he joked.
“The future of the world lies in religious pluralism.”
–Rick Warren

Read through the points carefully again, and you will see where Rick Warren is taking evangelicals. His beliefs about pluralism explain why he can go to Jewish synagogues and never mention the name of Christ, or appear at secular conferences or shows like Comedy Central and never once mention Jesus and the way of eternal salvation.

Ron Bell’s Velvet Elvis is a postmodern social gospel

Bob DeWaay does a good job in this article explaining the teaching of Ron Bell in “Velvet Elvis” and debunking them.  All I will add is that the American Church is heading for big trouble if young “Christians” keep following these postmodern leaders that have no regard for sound biblical doctrine.

clipped from Critical issues commentary

For the past two years I have researched the theology of the Emergent Church in preparation for a book I am writing. During that time I ignored Rob Bell’s Velvet Elvis because I was concentrating on other works of postmodern theology. Then someone loaned me Bell’s video in which he uses subatomic physics to try to prove that, “everything is spiritual.”

Fresh Fire guru interviews Jesus in heaven

Wow! look at this. This guy claims to do interviews in heaven with his own version of Jesus. These Fresh Fire people need to be totally roasted by Flamethrower. Seriously why do these people have a following and why are they on Christian TV? I think some in Christianity are candidates for a padded  room.

For three days this week, Todd Bentley of Fresh Fire Ministries (freshfire.ca) has been interviewed on a well known Canadian Christian T.V. program called It’s a New Day. As I watched the last day, on their website (Thursday, January 24th, Todd Bentley Testimony – part 3 of 3), I thought, hmmmm…this sounds familiar.
