Some Pentecostals need to quit acting like stupid children and grow up!

Carla at “More Books and Things” put together a nice set of links about Todd Bentley and what is going on in the loony movement in Lakeland Florida.

My opinion is that Bentley is either a con artist, demon possessed or is mentally ill. Take any selection that works for you. This unbelievable bozo even has a angel named Emma? There are no angels named Emma. Angels are always masculine. So believe me Emma is no angel and Bentley is no spokesman for God. This clod is saying that when he got sucked up to heaven God told him we are hindering God from healing us?… continue reading

Wright, Plegar, Obama’s Black Liberation Theology and what it might mean to America

It makes no sense for the Catholic Church to retain the demonic “Father” Pleger as a priest. Priests of God do not teach hate. But there is a much deeper issue than “Father” Pleger here.

We have now heard three leaders speak from that pulpit all preaching heretical hateful Black Liberation Theology. The whole congregation was whipped in a frenzy by “Father” Pleger obviously they were in full approval of his very hateful message.

Obama can say what this church teaches is not his views but then why would he continue to attend a church that produces and promotes leaders in Black Liberation Theology?… continue reading

The Richard Foster of the Emergent Church Leaders

Rev. Ken Silva of Apprising Ministries has written a really good article about Richard Foster and how he is connected with the Emergent Church movement and the Contemplative/Centering Prayer that is now being taught to future pastors in many seminars and Bible colleges. Below are a few excerpts from this article but read the entire article there is much good information here. But while your at it don’t stop at this article on Richard Foster. Apprising Ministries www.apprising.org has many well documented articles on the emergent/emerging church heresies which are leading institutional “Christianity” into latter day apostasy. It is this emerging harlot woman that will ride the Beast Antichrist into power in these last days.… continue reading

The all-gods sect called Alcoholics Anonymous or A.A.

This is a clever article that points out the problems with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and most other 12 step programs.

Missionaries Into Darkest Alcoholics Anonymous – CWN

Mama and Papa,

We are in America at last. The Lord has sent us into the strangest belief system. The men and women here seem impervious to the Gospel, but the Lord has given us great love for them.

This religion teaches that virtually anything can be defined as a god. During their meetings these people gather and pray in unity, but the “god” each individual prays to can be as varied and unique as particles of sand in our African desert.

Sheep will have no direction without Shepherds

I have often heard pastors tell the sheep in the pews that they need to get busy because God works through them as well. That is true, but sheep do not lead they follow. Perhaps your people are not doing anything but warming the pews because you have not provided them a spiritual battle plan. How many are even giving their onward Christian soldiers a weekly briefing on issues of our day like those found in the quote of Dave Daubenmire below?

I think we have all heard enough of your canned applications for living a Christian life. Now we need leaders who know how to take the high ground and be steadfast against the amorality and heresies of our day that are perverting our nation and our churches.

The right God is the only God that can be God

The only God we need to concern ourselves with is the one who made it possible for us to fellowship with Him through His own doing. Any God that would allow someone to fellowship with Him because of their own doing would have to trade places. On the other hand, if you cannot even have a personal relationship with your God what good is He? No Oprah, you do not qualify.

How do you know you have the right God?” – CWN

Here’s the promise of the gospel. Upon my repentance and faith in Jesus, my guilt will disappear. All of it.

AA and 12 steps were not founded by Christians

Churches today are filled with 12 step programs based on a model that has no foundation in Christianity. I also wrote my own article that deals with the issue.

It is not just fear that keeps us bound to this all-gods religion. The 12 Step experience becomes an idol—long-term involvement almost always results in a transference of faith. Bluntly stated, when it comes to sobriety, many Christians end up with more faith in the power of the 12 Step program than in Jesus Christ.

This idol worship is by no means limited to those in AA, but applies to many in “Christian 12 Step” groups.

The Bible Literacy Project is a deceptive name for a project that undermining the authority of the Bible and debases God.

Under the name of the Bible Literacy Project they will bring in every kind of brainwashing deception into the schools. The textbook they use is called “The Bible and its Influence” and it undermines the Bible’s authority and demeans and debases the God of the Bible. Do not support this deceptive project in your schools. Haters of Christianity have now gone from just banning the Bible to a very deceptive attempt to destroy is very foundations and replace it with global spirituality.

The deception of the Bible Literacy Project

Virtually banned from American schools in the early ’60s, the Bible has faced a rising onslaught of wrath, ridicule and legal assaults.

Emerging Christian leaders Envision a cosmic Christ

It is disturbing that Kay Warren, Brian McLaren, Jim Wallis and Samir Selmanovic would take part in these conferences that promote a pluralist cosmic false Christ and Universalism but it not surprising. If people cannot see where these undiscerning people are taking “emerging Christianity by now they have not been paying attention.

Being cool for Jesus

One can easily justify why they conform to be like the world. The hard thing is not conforming and still getting the message of salvation out to the lost. They are not going to find the message of salvation through you being cool for Jesus but they may through your heavenly warmness.

The Church Of The Cool And Groovy (A Worldy Christian View) – CWN

It’s no secret that churches are using gimmicks to attract the masses. Much like all of the rock bands I worked with, the cooler and hipper you are, the more you can attract a crowd. This is prevalent in so many churches, and it usually starts in the youth groups.

After the crash will the nation go back to faith and moral values?

Derry Brownfield is probably correct after the crash the nation cannot go back to faith and moral values that they never had.

Derry Brownfield — When the Stock Market Crashes?

I don’t expect so see the majority of the population go back to old-fashioned values. How can we as a nation develop faith, morals, principles, ethics, ideals and Biblical standards when they have never been taught to this generation? It’s only the older generation that sang Christmas Carols, prayed in school, and heard old-fashioned sermons condemning sin and teaching repentance. Our people have been taught the Bible is full of hate speech, prayer should never be heard in a public place, it’s alright to murder unborn babies and the golden rule is to “do unto others before they have a chance to do unto you.”

The rise of atheistic propaganda is another prelude to a great deception

The atheists are in vogue again. Just like there were in the past when atheism and evil philosophies rose in the world. We must be heading toward a new demonic deception and these delusional God haters are helping to set the stage. This is a good article that puts their stupid arguments in the proper trash bin.

What Triggered Such a Sudden Onslaught of Hard-Core, Mean-Spirited Atheistic Propaganda? – CWN

The evidence clearly shows that many of our institutions of higher leaning are cesspools of atheism and hotbeds of radicalism, including sexual radicalism. It’s as though we’re reliving the pre-French and pre-Bolshevik revolutionary eras.

Lost Christians is the greatest crises in America? What is the response to such a bazaar concept!

What a totally bazaar concept “lost Christians”? This is an oxymoron!  If these “Christians” have lost their faith in the Bible, the church and Christian beliefs then they are not “lost Christians” they are not Christians!

Thirty-one million people have left these churches because they were never believers they were just cultural Christians. It is happening in the U.S., Canada and Europe because many of the mainline churches in the West do not teach or practice biblical Christianity. All they have is denominational rituals. They baptize people into the church as babies and then they call them Christians. Then when they grow up and leave they say they are “lost Christians.… continue reading

Spiritual treason is evident but treason can also be in the eye of the beholder.

I agree with what Steve Camp says in this article but have two statements and one observation on what he said. I observe you made a comment on Christian bloggers making revenue by putting advertising on their blogs as if this is wrong. Then I observe that you posted your article on a website that has many advertisements on both sides of your article?

My statement is that many bloggers and websites ministries that present Christian material are working full time at it and I think they have a right to try to make some income to support themselves and their families.… continue reading

12 steps toward pluralism and universalism defiles Christians

This is a very well written article on why pastors should not be promoting 12 step programs like AA. I wrote my own article on this subject a while back that says much the same things. You will find it in the New Evangelicals and post-modern psychobabble section of a much larger article I wrote on Dominion theology and where it will lead the church. There are a couple of good reference links on my piece. One is on the founders of AA, Bill Wilson, who was a real nut case. Also read the below article it gives additional insights.

A perfect example of a graduate of a 12 step program is President George Bush.… continue reading

Onward Soulforce soldiers marching off to your church

I would not doubt that you will soon see a change of position on homosexuality in one or more of these churches. Many of the church members have already been brainwashed by their employers and media. With that in mind the biblical illiterate will shift their thinking. By the way, that is most of the people that call themselves Christians.

Soulforce Marches On To Churches and Christian Colleges To Normalize Homosexuality – CWN

starting this Sunday, Mother’s Day, Soulforce begins a month-long campaign targeting select churches. They have multiple purposes including trying to convince pastors and people that their interpretation of the verses in the Bible condemning homosexuality are misconstrued.

The Journey into Apostasy

Carla at “More Books and Things” put together some good information and links on modern day false prophets such as Rick Joyner, Bob Jones, Mike Bickle, Paul Cain, and Benny Hinn. She also mentions and has links on Todd Bentley’s book “The Journey into the Miraculous” and Carla lets us find out what Jim Goll is saying. This is really pretty twisted stuff.

Like I have indicated before, the spiritual deception is not just coming from New Age teachers like Oprah. It is coming from the Emergent leaders and Word-Faith. You need to read the article and follow the links to begin to understand how fast this journey into apostasy is taking shape.… continue reading

Oprah, Word-Faith and postmodern Christianity shifting to the dark side

This article does a real good job putting Oprah’s New Age promotions, Word-Faith and postmodern “Christianity” in the same boat. Essentially they all are saying that we can create our own reality through our own thoughts, words or deeds because we are all part of the force. There is way too much good information in this article to just read my snippet of it so if you want to know all about this paradigm shift to the dark side, read Marsha West’s article.

The Christian movement shifting toward apostasy

If you are buying into a “Emergent” or “Emerging Church” you are going to be shifting toward the apostasy of pantheistic monism and universalism. Everyone in the Church needs to know about this rapidly growing movement because this is the apostasy that we were told would come in the last days.

Are You a “Shifter”? Does the Historic Gospel Message Need to be Repackaged? – CWN

Dobson and Schuller’s Psychological Christianity

Gee, someone actually agrees with what I say about this sacred cow of Christianity. Most science is corrupted by deceptive philosophies of the world in one way or another and does not mix well with Christianity. Theories of Psychotherapy do not mix at all

“Dobson’s Law” has always agreed with Robert Schuller

In response to recent articles concerning Shirley Dobson’s commendation of the ministry of Robert Schuller, I must confess there is no surprise here. Nothing has contributed more to the current preoccupation with self than the propagation of the psychological gospel. And perhaps no man has popularized this man-centered approach to Christianity more than radio psychologist, James Dobson.
