I am studying the feast period between Pentecost, Trumpets and Atonement.  Specifically,  I am presently focusing on the day counts and prophetic implications between Trumpets and Atonement.   
 
Messiah Yeshua fulfilled the Spring feasts to the day.  It seems that the day count ended with Pentecost and that the period between Pentecost and Atonement may be days of years as in the case of Daniel’s 70th week. 
 
There are 10 days between Trumpets and Atonement.  Most expect that Daniel’s 70th week will occur prophetically during these 10 days/years.  Mainstream biblical scholars (pre-trib/millenialists) say that Daniel’s week happens here.

In God’s eyes the Roman fourth beast still rules the world

The visions given to Daniel document that there will only be four Gentile world kingdoms from his own time until the Kingdom of the Messiah. The four kingdoms that Daniel saw that were identified with four beasts have been unquestionably identified by reputable historians as Babylon, Medio-Persia, Greek, and the Roman. The Roman is the fourth beast described and last Gentile Kingdom on earth. At the end of the age this kingdom will be destroyed and the earth will be given to the people of God (Daniel 7).

There is no other worldwide Gentile kingdom in scripture between the time of the ancient Roman Empire and the time that the latter-day prince makes a seven-year covenant with Israel at the end of the Gentile age (Dan 9:27).… continue reading

Who and what are the two Beasts of Revelation?

It is like eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die. Most might not confess to being that fatalistic but that seems to be evident in their choices and lifestyles.

Is Jesuit Pope Francis the Antichrist or the False Prophet?

This Blog deals with world and church trends and Bible prophecy so I would be remiss if I did not write something about the first Jesuit Pope ever to take the throne. Pope Francis now rules over half of what is called Christendom with its 1.2 billion Roman Catholics. This Pope will also have great influence with other world religious leaders and world governments.

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues Aug 2012

This has been the hottest driest summer around here in modern history. In the Missouri Ozarks where I live, it has been in the 90’s or 100’s most days since early June. We have had a grand total of 5 inches of rain since April 1st. In a normal year we would get about four times that amount. We have not had enough rain at one time at my place for the rain to even get down to the roots of trees. Many trees are already losing their leaves and going dormant. Some in Christian media have been doing interviews with Thomas Horn so I decided to read a couple of his books. I recently read “Apollyon rising 2012” and I will soon read his latest book “Petrus Romanus”, which God willing, I will comment on sometime in the future. The title “Apollyon Rising 2012”, implies that Apollyon of Revelation 9:11 will be rising in 2012 but If you believe that you probably already have been hornswoggled.

With the events going on in Europe and the Middle East I have to wonder if we might be seeing the foundations of the revived Roman Empire being lain before our eyes.

The debt crises in Europe means that the EU countries will either have to withdraw from the EU and go back to being independent nations or that there will be a further consolidation of power in Europe. I think the latter will happen and a United States of Europe or new Roman Empire will emerge with a central government that will take away national sovereignty. The restrainer of 2Th 2:7 is not the Spirit filled Church

One of the great controversial mysteries of Bible prophecy is the identity of the restrainer of 2Th 2:7. This issue came up in a recent post and I took the standard view given by most dispensational Bible prophecy teachers that the restrainer mentioned in 2Th 2:7 is the Holy Spirit within the Church. Since then I decided to do a more in-depth study on this passage and to try to think things through logically.

The scriptures say that God created man in His own image. Some ancient text scholars say it means that man was created by God to be His image bearers or imagers. I think that is at least partly correct. We can look at other passages and get some light on what this means. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the express image of God (Heb 1:3) and we know that Jesus as God’s image has the capacity to be God over all creation. A Fourth Reich Roman Empire Revival Fit for a Beast and a Gog Reunion

We may be seeing the start of the Revived Roman Empire taking place before our very eyes. The turmoil in North Africa, Syria, and elsewhere may bring it about. I know many people thought the present EU is the revived Roman Empire but the present EU really does not fit the spatial reality of the Old Roman Empire nor does it have its mothers violent nature.

Here is a map that shows the  extent of the Old Roman Empire. Where there are dates on this map those regions were not part of the Roman Empire at the time of Jesus.

Mark of the Beast communication system may now be under development

I believe that any Mark of Beast System where no man can buy or sell cannot realistically be established worldwide until there is a worldwide communication system where even the poor and the rural people of the world have access. Since I live in a place where high-speed Internet is still not available or feasible, I keep on top of the news on any new high-speed Internet developments.

A world war between the pseudo Christian West and Muslims becomes inevitable if Muslims are not soon converted to Christ in large numbers. In both true Christianity and pseudo Christianity there are those denying the possibility of salvation for most people living in Islamic nations. Nevertheless, God is not handicapped by Islam or any other world religion. God is not bound by Islam. Many in these religions will soon be saved by God’s grace in spite of their evil leaders.

Fourth turning suggests over two decades of world chaos.

I do not totally buy into the “fourth turning” time cycles although the four turnings spoken about in that book do seem to occur about once in a human lifespan. I as well, see a bitter winter coming to our nation and the world in the near future. I think we are about two years away from at least two decades of unparalleled world chaos.

The satanic supernatural Beast brings a strong delusion to unbelievers

I find it interesting that in Revelation the Greek word for the Beast Antichrist and the False prophet is that of a wild animal. The first time this Greek word appears in Revelation is after Satan is cast out of heaven with all his angels. The King James also calls the creatures around the throne beasts but a different Greek word is used and it simply means living creatures. But, the name given to the Antichrist and the False prophet depict that in God’s eyes they are viewed as wild animals.

The Mahdi 2012 Antichrist is delayed his head got stuck in the well.

Some Bible prophecy teachers and their disciples are looking for some Islamic Antichrist to appear in 2012 and most of them think it will be the Islamic 12th Imam Mahdi figure that Shia religious lore says will ascend out of a well. I think this Antichrist figure should be getting a swelled head by now with all the expectations for him coming from these Bible prophecy teachers. Therefore, their Mahdi figure will never get his swelled head up the well in time for some 2012 Antichrist.

Granted, that there are others that think Obama is the Antichrist but these people are only grasping at a strawman for their 2012 date.… continue reading

Government health care – Divide and conquer America by prescription

Supposedly on Sunday Americans are going to get a nation health plan shoved down their throat whether they like the medicine or not. As of this writing Fox News is saying that the House is still two votes short of passing the Senate bill. However, I am sure that leading Democrats will prescribe underhanded means to get those two votes or they will delay the health bill vote again (you did not think they would actually vote on a bill they could possible lose, did you?).
