Same sex marriage only occurred in history in the days just prior to the flood

This article gives an interesting perspective. Apparently there was only one time in history where marriage between same sex couples ever took place. It was In the days of Noah. Jesus mentions that it would be like in the days of Noah when He returns. He says they were marrying and giving in marriage at that time and the Babylonian Talmud implies they were giving men to men and woman to woman and that they were so against God’s natural plan for mankind that He sent the flood.
The fact of the matter is that those who practice these things are in rebellion against God’s created order. It is not limited to just homosexuality but homosexuality is an outward display of this rebellion. If you notice most Homosexuals hate the God of the Bible. They are living in rebellions against what the God of the Bible said.

How same-sex marriage points to end of the world

As I wrote about in my book, “The Criminalization of Christianity,” Jeffrey Satinover, who holds an M.D. from Princeton and doctorates from Yale, MIT and Harvard, was on my radio program one day and I asked him about where we are in history. He explained that according to the “Babylonian Talmud” – the book of rabbis’ interpretation of the scriptures 1,000 years before Christ, there was only one time in history that reflects where we are right now. There was only one time in history, according to these writings, where men were given in marriage to men, and women given in marriage to women.

Want to venture a guess as to when? No, it wasn’t in Sodom and Gomorrah, although that was my guess. Homosexuality was rampant there, of course, but according to the Talmud, not homosexual “marriage.” What about ancient Greece? Rome? No. Babylon? No again. The one time in history when homosexual “marriage” was practiced was … during the days of Noah. And according to Satinover, that’s what the “Babylonian Talmud” attributes as the final straw that led to the Flood.

But, he said, the Talmud’s writings reveal that “before the Flood people started to write marriage contracts between men, in other words, homosexual ‘marriage,’ which is more than homosexual activity – it’s giving an official state stamp of approval, a sanctification … of homosexual partnership.”

In fact, he said, “the writings indicated that it wasn’t even so much the ‘straw that broke the camel’s back,’ but that the sin in and of itself is so contrary to why God created the world, so contrary to the order of God’s nature, that God said then and there ‘I have to start all over … to annihilate the world and start from the beginning. …'”

The one time it happened was: “During the days of Noah.” When I first heard this, my mind immediately went to a verse I’ve heard many times but never with such relevance. The verse is found in Matthew 24:37. It reads:

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. – Mathew 24:37 (NIV)

  1. The four judges that agreed with the homosexuals are just as angry at God. The four judges do not want to be told what they can or cannot do. These four judges are not only as bad as the homosexuals, they are worse.

  2. Not quite true. Homosexual marriage was also found in Rome (Emporer Nero had a homosexual marriage). The fall of Roman Empire following the outlawing of the practice by the Roman Catholic Church…. 🙂 Not that that means anything
There were also celebrations throughout pagan culture of same sex unions (most not sanctified by marriage).

  3. Alstor,

Take it up with the author of the article I quoted if you are that concerned about the accuracy of his theory. I do not think homosexual marriage was something widely practiced in the Roman Empire but homosexuality was. I guess Nero could do what he wanted. There has been homosexuals since before the flood but that does not make their unions marriages.

In any case, I think the main point in the article was that Jesus said it would be like the days of Noah before the end and that Jewish traditional writings indicate there was widespread acceptance of homosexual unions before the flood. That does not mean Jewish tradition has it correct either. I think the real corruption before the flood was the unions with fallen Angels that produced the Nephilim.

  4. Dear Sirs; could you please provide me with the exact refereces in the Talmud and the Midrash that talk about homosexual marriage before the flood. I do not doubt the veracity but in the interest of best research I would like to be able to quote the primary sources.
    Thankyou;
    Richard L

  5. Richard,

I quoted the article because it gives an interesting perspective about post flood conditions on the earth. If you notice, I am quoting an article that quotes a interview of Jeffrey Satinover . I think your going to have to ask the author of the article or better yet find Jeffrey Satinover. I do not read Babylonian Talmud tradition and I have no way of knowing that what he claims it says is true.
