Most people in the world claim to have a religion and they think that keeping the religion offers some reward for them after death. I was a Roman Catholic, but I really had to fall away from their religious system of bondage to find the only doctrine that will free and save anyone from their sins.
Salvation doctrine is simply that God’s salvation comes through God’s grace. His grace to mankind was given in His Son. What you have to do is believe in God’s righteousness and trust in the Savior that God gave to pay for mankind’s sins and bridge the gap between God and man.
When you do believe (trust) in God Savior; He will raise you to eternal life. Salvation does not come through religion it comes from trusting in God’s promises.
I know, that you know, that you religious people trusting in your own religion to save you will fail to keep it all anyway. But, if you think you actually did keep all the rules, regulations, and traditions of your own religion you would become too self-righteous to dwell with God and among those saved by God’s grace.
Then God would have to create a special place for all the self-righteous sinners in the universe. I have news. He did. He named it The Lake of Fire.
