I gave Rick Warren a pass on his short OneNewsNow.com statement. However, I knew I should have said something. Paul Proctor did take the time to address what Rick Warren said and I am glad that he brought up the Matthew chapter 10 issue. Rick Warren quoted Matthew chapter 10 as his justification for his interfaith efforts. Proctor makes it quite clear that Warren is taking Matthew 10 out of proper context in order to accomplish a pluralistic interfaith social agenda that any true understanding of the Bible does not allow.

Brian McLaren is just another sign that we are in the end times. All he cares about it getting everyone to sing “We are the people, we are the world” together and establishing his postmodern religious kingdom of everyone gets along pluralism.

He obviously could care less about the salvation of peoples souls or he would teach them the gospel (if he even even knew it). I do not know why he is still regarded as a “Christian” by Christians when he clearly denies the faith.

After the 9/11 attack on the trade towers Bush said the terrorists would have no sanctuaries to hide. I believe Bush meant what he said at the time but real world conditions cowed him from actually carrying out that promise. Seven years later Osama Bin Laden the mastermind of the attacks is still hiding in Pakistan.

What Rick Warren, the New Evangelicals and friends are doing is thinking that if religious people of the world come together they can solve the social problems of the world. There is no such concept in the scriptures. In fact scripture warns against uniting in common purpose with unbelievers.

There would be no issue at all if along with the aid Warren was actually giving the gospel of salvation to the world. However, he cannot do that and still be part of an interfaith effort. The Alliance Defense Fund will defend any pastor and church that on Sept 28th makes a political speech for or against a candidate from their pulpit. The IRS muzzled the church for over fifty years with its 501-C3 statute. Forcing churches to abide by unconstitutional rulings on religious speech with the treat of losing their tax exempt status. Congress made a law prohibiting the free exercise of religion and that is against the First Amendment of the Constitution that says Congress should make no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion.

I think it high time Christians realize that heads of Christian institutions do not speak for Christianity especially in these last days of moral and spiritual relativism. They speak for some people in their various denominations, organizations and movements which is quite different than speaking for the Body of Christ. Most of their members and followers never became part of that Body of Christ or they would not be appointing apostate people into leadership. Most of the statements we hear from some of these postmodern leaders are simply anti Christ.

If you think there is not a threat to Christianity coming in the U.S. look at the bill the Brazilian Senate is considering. It already passed their house without debate. The homosexual perverts not only spread diseases of the body they apparently spread disease of the mind. And here I thought this country was 73 percent Catholic. Does Catholicism have any real moral influence anywhere in the world or is the whole religious act of Catholics just a show?

Peter Jones has it right in this article. Pseudo Christianity will again be going to war again against those true Christians who actually believe the Bible. When the youth of those going to the churches of today grow up (many of them already have) will those four percent that still believe the Bible actually be tolerated by Christianity? Of course not. This is a very interesting prophetic development. We have been looking for the EU to fulfill the revived Roman Empire and the covenant of Daniel chapter nine but it turns out that it will actually be fulfilled by the Mediterranean Union (MU).

The EU has nations that were not in the original Roman Empire but the MU includes the right nations. It is looking like the exact same lands that were in the original Roman Empire will also be in the revived Roman Empire.
