I think that Oprah started believing her own press when some people made her out to be a goddess. Now she is promoting every New Age Guru that fits within her own belief that she has some divine connection.
I guess it would now be more than appropriate to call Oprah a Cult leader since she is brainwashing gullible people and teaching pagan beliefs from her media pulpits.
In my opinion Oprah is now the most dangerous woman on the planet and she would be a shoe in for Antichrist if she was not a woman. Maybe she will change sexes. (-:
Another scary thought is her devotion to Obama. We all know birds of a feather flock together. They are kindred spirits. Now what position will Obama put Oprah in if he is elected? And you think the world is not getting to be a scary place?
Why would any Christian vote for him or watch her? I know why the universal church does because that is where this is all leading. Don’t be too surprised if Mary appears on/in Oprah with a very deceptive message to all her many devotees?
Oprah Winfrey may have gone too far in exploiting and distributing the teachings of a questionable New Age writer.
On Monday night, Winfrey conducted her weekly Web “event” seminar with New Age writer Eckhart Tolle. His message: “Life is the dancer and you are the dance.”
Got that?
The seminar was No. 7 in a series of 10. On the first 90-minute Webcast with Tolle, Oprah extolled the author’s virtues, calling his best-selling “New Earth” book “one of the most important books of our time,” the seminars one of “the most exciting things I’ve ever done.”
Imagine that Winfrey considers her conversations with Tolle, a man with a shady and un-checkable background, more important than her schools in Africa and Mississippi for underprivileged children, more important than her Angel Charity network or her zillion-dollar syndicated TV show. Tolle must be something else!
But it’s not like Winfrey is endorsing Maya Angelou or Toni Morrison, serious, educated artists with portfolios. Tolle is more like Kilgore Trout, Kurt Vonnegut’s science-fiction crackpot alter-ego.
Your phrase about Obama & Oprah – “Why would any Christian vote for him or watch her?”
My question for you: Exactly which candidate would a Christian seriously consider? And I’m not defending Obama or Oprah. I’m just curious as to your response.
Thanks.

Who knows?
I must say I still like Alan Keyes a lot (www.alankeyes.com). I find myself in agreement with his views on a whole lot of issues and he strikes me as a discerning and moral person. I think if some third party is to emergy in America as you’ve often said in your blogs, he may be playing an important role in it. In any case, he should be. A good start is his leaving the GOP recently.
Allen Keyes has it mostly correct but he is unelectable. He has run before and just cannot get any major support. I do not see that changing even on a third party ticket. But yes, I see him playing a large role in someone’s campaign for a third party. Perhaps in the role of a Vice President nominee or some other position. I think if a third party really gets started a lot of people will leave the GOP. I want to see James Dobson and other Christian leaders leave.
Oprah is the spiritual harlot making people drunk not with wine…and Obama is the abomination of desolation- the antichrist..
Remember Satan disquises himself as an angel of light…Some Christians have said it impossible because Obama is not from the east, he was born in Hawaii.
The Jewish people did not believe Jesus was the Christ because prophecies said he would be from Bethlehem and they thought he was from Jurusalem..Hhmmm…
Who gets this with no help at all??? Obama never turned in his birth certificate, we know he has one as he had to use it years ago to get his passport. Why not put an end to all that controversy and question during his election by producing it?
The campaign camp eventually produced a copy of a less detailed certificate (could be changed and not the original..) to try and satisfy questions.
Make your own decision..but thats my opinion.
Here is an interesting article from the lighthouse trails research website that talks about how “mystical spirituality” will replace Christianity http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/blog/index.php?p=1555&c=1
I have one question for you Don. Have you ever thought about using twitter to get more vistors to your website?
Lighthouse Trails Research has some good information on the Emergent Movement and postmodern Christianity.
I know about Twitter but I don’t know why anyone would want to post short tweets about everything they are thinking and doing? In any case, I will be relocating to another state in about a week and I will not be able to explore any latest insanity until after I get settled.
I like twitter but I do not reveal everything I am doing on twitter like some do. But I do use twitter to put links to articles out there I think folks should read. I have tweeted links to your blog before.
The idea i had was that if you had a twitter account you could use twitterfeed to load blog updates via twitter. twitterfeed does the work and you do not have to do anything. It is like RSS except it is a twitter version.
When someone follows you and when he receives your tweets he can retweet your tweet so that his followers can read your blog posts.
What you said makes sense. I will look into it after I relocate.
