I found out yesterday just how fast the web host will take down your blog if it is using a little two much of their resources. I ran a site map tool in order to create a site map to submit to Google. I ran it at the default settings which runs five threads at the same time. I guess it took about three hours to make the sitemap of my website. Sometime shortly thereafter my web host denied service to anyone who wanted to visit this blog.

It took me most of yesterday to get them to get the blog back up. I first had to agree to look into what was using so much resources but it was really obvious to me. So the advertisement of unlimited bandwidth really means nothing if you are on a shared server and something you are running uses a bit too much of the CPU or memory. That all points out how easy it is for anyone to crash a website. All someone has to do is keep requesting a lot of files and the web host will shut the site down. That is part of what happened to WikiLeaks, Yahoo hosting took them down because they were getting too many hits.

The web host that I have is one of the biggest hosts in the world so its not like I was overwhelming some mom and pop outfit. Seems there is no flexibility with them no matter what they claim when you pay them the bucks. One would think they would allow the use of enough resources on their shared servers so that a person could run a popular site map making robot, but apparently they do not. I guess you get what you pay for, and for 5 bucks a month you do not get much, no matter what they claim about unlimited bandwidth.

I consider it, but it will not do any good for me to move to another host because the cheap ones are all the same. If you keep using more than your share of resources they will tell you to rent a dedicated server. For that you have to pay big bucks. I really am not worried about that because this site normally does not use a lot of resources because I do not do broadcasts, videos, ads or a lot of images.

Speaking about WikiLeaks, it is amazing what some “defenders of freedom” say. I have heard them say that Julian Assange of WikiLeaks should be killed. Others have said that this Australian should be tried for treason. How can a foreigner commit treason against the United States? That makes me wonder what kind of jack booted government they would set up if they were given half a chance? Some on the Far Right should scare Americans more than those on the Far Left.

As I said before, the American soldier that gave this information should be prosecuted, but once the data was compromised it was going to be published somewhere. So far, from what I read of the leaks, it is not the type of stuff that needs to be classified anyway. It was only classified to keep the truth from getting out. If this information were freely available the public might actually know what our government is doing and rein them in when they are out of control.

Our State Department should not be spinning information to protect the enemies of America. One prime example is the Middle East. For public consumption our government tells us Americans that Saudi Arabia is working against terrorism, but we see from their own cables that the State Department clearly knows that Saudi Arabia is the biggest financial supporter of terrorism in the world. I think we have a right to know the truth about who the real danger to our national security is.

There is much disinformation coming from our government. The people of this nation would be able to stop the lies if they knew about them. But, instead government often make the information that Americans should know classified or for official use only to keep them in the dark. Then you have people like Liddy and Palin that want government to keep everything secret. American Imperialism and the ongoing federal government takeover of America seems to be just dandy to them if  it is done in secret.

Everything is permissible in the minds of some people as long as it is done in the name of national security. They might have faith that our government is always doing what is right in the world, but when the American people are kept in the dark how would they even know? And even if we had been doing what is right in the past, it does not mean that those that always hide what they are doing behind national security will do what is right in the future.

Now we just heard that WalMart will be working with Big Sister to keep an eye on everyone, all in the name of national security of course. Yeah, 1984 is about here. It is coming dressed in a skirt and wearing a big smiley face. Just don’t look suspicious if you shop at Wal-Mart or those part time minimum wage security experts will be contacting SWAT to roll you over. Hey, you gave up any constitutional rights by walking in the front door of a multi-national corporation!

I know there is some risk from terrorism but over 30,000 people will die in their car this year and another 15,000 will be murdered by mostly friends and relatives. So let’s put this is proper perspective. There is a greater risk of getting hit by lightening than being killed by a terrorist but I do not see everyone wearing a lighting rod grounding device. I really question the need for everyone to be spying on everyone else to try to stop some future bomber. If our government would stop most of the terrorists on our borders and not let them recruit in prisons and mosques, and if they would stop them from training on our own soil, I am sure our security would be quite adequate. Instead, the government will use whatever threat they can find or dream up to increase their control over everyone. This is not about security, it is about control.

Government not only now encourages and demands that private corporations enforce various invasive acts, they also want them to be their eyes and ears and to reports all perceived threats to national control freaks. Seems that corporations are all too willing to become partners with government to do away with our constitutional freedoms.

I wonder when the people of the United States are going to realize that Homeland Security and the control freaks running our government are the real threat to the American people? Are you really willing to live in a total surveillance society for the promise of government security? If so, what are you going to do when they monitor churches and come for those enemies of the state that dare be politically incorrect by worshiping a coming King? Think they won’t? Then how come they have done it and still do it in every other society where government becomes all powerful?

The only real question left, if Americans allow this government takeover to continue, is do you have a  pastor that will cooperate with them? More pastors than you think are really closet atheists and hirelings. Pastors in many churches would not risk everything for any gospel truth.

If Americans do not take the steps necessary to protect themselves from a government that is rapidly taking control of everyone and everything, I assure you that nobody is going to come over here and do it for us. One can only imagine what Homeland Security will do after the next successful terrorist attack.

Its kind of interesting that Obama now sees the light and wants to lower taxes so the economy can expand. Don’t for a minute think that Obama has changed his socialist spots. With a Republican House about to take over, Obama knows he is going to have to compromise or he is going to be seen as the main obstruction to economic growth. That is no way to get reelected.

All the proposed extensions of the tax cuts will run out in 2013. Should the American people be stupid enough to reelect Obama in 2012, then 2013 – 2017 will be the fatal years for America, because during this period Obama will only be running for Secretary General of the UN.

Last month I incorrectly implied that the S-510 food safety bill passed and would be signed by the President. It did pass the House and the Senate, but the Senate bill increased fees and that is a tax and that is unconstitutional because revenue increases have to originate in the House. So now the bill is unlikely to pass this year because there is not enough time to get it through.

In spite of the previous good news that the food safety bill had died it was resurrected by Harry Reid by a slight of hand trick and the opposition caved. It passed the Senate and today it passed the House. So Obama will now sign it into law.

The new South Korean defense minister said that if there are any more attacks on them by North Korea they will bomb North Korea. I would think that North Korea will be smart enough to back off for awhile, but if  Kim Jong il dies or become incapacitated and his son takes over the situation becomes totally unpredictable.

I guess you heard that the Fed gave 9 trillion in loans during the banking crises. How does a private bank get away with betting the fate of the whole nation that they will get paid back? Then some still think that we still have a representative constitutional government running America? China and Russia are laughing at the stupidity of the American public.

Unemployment went up to 9.8 percent this month. This is already the longest period on record that unemployment was over 9 percent. So much for the summer of recovery and the green shoots. The actual number of those who cannot find a full time job is double that figure. Think about this. One in five people cannot find a full time job so the government has to keep paying out unemployment and food stamps or there would be riots in the streets. That is the situation a year into our recovery! Just wait until the next downturn.

Oil prices are up to $90 a barrel and probably will go higher. They claim it is because of the expansion in China and the early cold spell but this is all nonsense. We are in an economic mess and so is Europe so oil use is not up. The only reason oil prices are high is that OPEC is restricting production and people are betting that oil will go higher. They could produce much more oil than they are producing now. So, you can thank our “Saudi friends” when you pay over $3.00 a gallon for gas. It turns out that we may get a small tax cut but we will put all that money and more in the pockets of OPEC. Nice! That will really help our economy!

With the earth so cold we still have thousands of global warming nuts doing their thing on the beaches of Mexico. It must be nice to get a paid vacation to promote a junk science fantasy. They started this climate change conference with a prayer to a pagan deity. That should tell you everything you need to know about the wisdom of these people.
