If the Democrats control both houses it is almost certain that 2009 will mark the beginning of the end of free speech in America. If Obama or Clinton get elected one of the first things they will do is to bring back the Fairness Doctrine which will kill talk radio.
Then without talk radio and the conservative voices as a counterbalance to socialism they will not only pass hate speech laws there will not even be any discussion about its abuses. After that, they will come after voices that oppose them on the Internet and they will regulate out these voices through government and Internet providers interpretations of the fascist hate speech laws.
By 2012 the country will be so controlled, brainwashed and dependent on government hand outs that the fascists will retain power. By 2013 the socialist fascists will have total control and then they will go after those dangerous Christian obstructionists who actually believe in the absolute truths in the Bible. Postmodern and Liberal Christians will be working hand in hand with the government to root out, expose and verbally attack Christians who oppose the socialist utopia agenda for the earth.
Bible believing Christians and freedom loving people will then start a secessionist movement which will quickly be outlawed by the federal government and they will become labeled terrorists. Gun laws will be enacted and government troops will go house to house to take away guns from the people. That will start a time of mass arrests, concentration camps and jack booted thugs. A resistance movement will spring up in rural areas of the nation and great civil strife against the government dictatorship will bring violence all over the nation.
The only way to prevent this scenario is to keep the socialist fascists from gaining total control of our government in the first place. Unless there is an act of God to change the only three choices we now have for President it can only be accomplished through a grass roots third party movement. That also would now take an act of God because big money and leftist globalist media now controls the political system of America.
Unless there is an act of God that will only come about if God’s people return to Him and earnestly pray for this nation, we probably can only expect to have a few more years to get out the Christian message in this country. The UK is far more left-wing than the US, but even that’s very very far from being either socialist or fascist. Being from the UK, I had not heard of the Fairness doctrine, but looking at it now I have found that the supreme court found the Fairness doctrine to be constitutional in 1969, although they changed that decision in 1987. Surely if the doctrine were to re-appear, it would show even more clearly that the legality of the doctrine can be argued both ways. That hardly sounds like something likely to “bring violence all over the nation” in only five years! People who “root out, expose and verbally attack Christians ” exist already, and this law will not change that even slightly.
In the UK we have the BBC, which is government funded. This is not censorship but serves to provide an outlet for less popular programmes. So government intervention does not mean curtailing of freedom of speech. We still have privately owned newspapers, tv channels, radio stations, internet. And Christians of any denomination, no matter how conservative, are treated equally. They are allowed to practise their beliefs, publicise their beliefs, say and do whatever they want within the law, there is no problem. We also have gun laws, I think that’s a good thing, we have much much less gun crime, for example, and our total crime rate is not high either.
I can hardly see any of the American politicians shutting off all mass communication. Most of it is owned privately anyway. I look forward to being able to follow your instruction to “Mark my words” and show you in 2013 that none of this scary scenario has happened. And on that day I expect I shall be able to post on this blog too, because extensive internet censorship will not have happened either
First of all, Britain and the EU are already fascist but you just do not know it yet. You did not vote in the EU but yet you are stuck with it. You will find out how fascist you will become when EU laws start running every aspect of your life.
In the US almost all major media is already left wing. The only counterbalance is talk radio. The Fairness Doctrine will force liberal programs on talk radio stations. No one in the US listens to liberal talk radio. This will put most talk radio stations out of business. Talk radio only expoded after the fairness doctrine was repealed. I don’t think you have many talk radio programs in Britain that are not in some way already controlled by your government so you would not understand.

You Brits allow government to control your lives and be your Nanny but most people in the rural areas of the US will not allow such control. They will take up arms before they allow Federal government to have anywhere near the control over their lives that you allow. That is just a fact.

Let me just challenge one or two points:

Muslims are in a much smaller minority and there are many islamic terrorists, and yet they are treated equally unless there is evidence that an individual has direct links to terrorism. I know a lot of fairly conservative Christians who do not feel threatened. They are in the minority, yes, but they live along-side other people perfectly happily.

I hardly believe that, we spent most of our time in history lessons at school learning about Nazism, the Russian revolution and the cold war. I also did the IB (International Baccaleureate), a European qualification, and we had to study “Theory of Knowledge”, which was a course over two years giving us the ability to think critically and look past what you read to see the complete picture. That’s not something that we would be forced to do in a state that wants complete control over us. The British education system is a little behind but I have read several times in newspapers that something similar will come in for everyone. I’m sure that the US radio system is very different to the British one, so I am trying to think of an analogue, but I tend to listen to radio stations that have a balanced view anyway. But if we want, we can find the God Channel on TV, or I can read blogs like yours.

We have had stable government in this country for longer than almost any other country. Every week the Prime Minister has a debate in parliament with the opposition who can scrutinise what he does. The party who is popular is the one who will be voted in. That’s a good place to start.
Now, let’s say that evil people get into power. First, they try to pass laws to start the oppression. Once a law has been passed in the House of Commons, it is passed over to the House of Lords, an unelected body comprising mainly people who have been very successful in their field. This means that the Lords come from a variety of backgrounds but they are almost all highly intelligent, questioning people, intent on scrutinising the government. They can debate the new law, and reject it if they think it is unsuitable. It then returns to the House of Commons, where they debate it and try to amend the law so that the Lords will accept it. This occurs three times before the Lords are overruled, by which time the elected term of the government is almost up, and they can get voted out. In the worst case, the Queen has to grant permission to make a new law. She could refuse to do that and is within her rights to do so. So if the voters make a mistake, they will probably get a second chance.

Guns don’t help against road-side bombs, as far as I can see, all that would happen is that people who are scared would start shooting people who they suspect of being a terrorist but are not sure. The case of Jean Charles de Menezes is a case where a civilian was shot by police with guns, because they were scared he might have a gun. If everyone in the country had guns, this would happen even more, and then we really would have civil unrest.
I have had a look at the link you gave me, and see you are very interested by the amount of surveillance in Britain. Many people share your fears, and I have read 1984 too. However, there are too many surveillance cameras to be monitored. As a result CCTV footage is only looked at when a crime has taken place, so that a criminal will be found more easily. If you are a petty drug dealer or if you are doing something immoral, you will not be found out, because nobody ever looks at the footage taken. So in fact your freedom is not really affected. Indeed with thousands of cameras around, you could not employ enough people to look at them all.
The EU question is an interesting one, and one that I am not equipped to answer properly, because I don’t understand the complete workings of it. If I was worried though, I’d make damn sure I found out about it, but at the moment we can leave the EU whenever we like. As far as third-party grass-roots movements go, many people have done it before, like the Scientologists, and I think it would be possible to bring many people together via internet (social networking) or pirate radio (it worked in Soviet countries in the cold war). I hope it does not come to that, however.

I know how civil the British people are and I know you want to be fair but you have now become a nanny state and you are also signing your sovereignty away to the EU. According to the treaty you can only get out of the EU with the blessing of the EU. You will not be able to just pull out unless they agree that they don’t want you in the EU.
Britain may have a stable domestic history but Europe does not. One of the problems in this country and yours is that the major parities are just different means to the same end. Right now, that end is globalism. All kinds of lies such as man caused global warming are being used by both parties to accomplish that end. What makes you think that terrorists will only use road side bombs? They will go to your schools or wherever people gather and just start shooting people and you will have no means of defense. If we go into a depression in the United States it will be total insanity unless people can protect themselves with guns. We have a gang problem here, a crime problem and a huge drug problem. These are not rational people. We do not have over two million people in prison in the US for no reason. That is why gun laws in America make victims out of the innocent. Do you realize that where people have guns in America crime is much lower then in the areas where they have gun control laws?
I do not know why you said Muslims are a smaller minority than fundamental Christians in Europe? That simply is not true. I doubt if more than three percent of Europe takes the Bible as absolute truth from God. Europe is already making certain Christian doctrine hate speech. I also want to point out something else. There will be a backlash against Islam in Europe. I do not want to get into what I see will happen in Europe on that front here, but I will just tell you it will be the worst time ever for those countries that have a large Muslim population.

In some ways I agree with you. For example, I also think that the British education system is in a mess right now. It has become too political, by which I mean that governments are continually looking for ways to prove how much they have improved education. Firstly, they introduce increasing amounts of assessment for teachers, who are put under huge pressure. Secondly, they test children more often so kids spend their whole time learning for exams rather than learning new things; and thirdly, they make syllabuses and exams easier so that the pass rates go up and the government looks better.
That is a problem, but I don’t see private education as the way to go, because even if the government has no other impact in my life, I want it to make sure that everyone has the same starting point so they can make what they want out of life. On the source though, it is originally from the Daily Mail, which is a British tabloid newspaper, and one of the most biased ones there is, so I would take anything it says with a pinch of salt – it never tells the whole story.
Another point where we agree is that I don’t know where the future is going, and it could go downhill drastically.
But the world is fine at the moment, and that is all the evidence I have. The world might not get worse, I am an optimist. But it might get worse. Who knows? It will probably have its ups and downs, but it’s hard to predict where the problems will be, we just have to try to fix problems when they arise. There is no use in panicking: it might never happen!
On gun crime, I’m interested by what you say. I’ve never looked into it, because, quite honestly, possessing a lethal weapon would make me feel more dangerous and no more safe. And it can hardly be described as a defensive weapon. But if your statistics are right, it’s worth thinking about.
I was interested to see what you said about global warming. Unlike you, I believe it is happening, I believe, like most scientists, that it is mainly caused by humans, and I believe it is a problem. I agree that a lot of the discussion points towards globalisation, but I actually think the solution lies more in making things more local. After all, so many of or emissions are transporting ourselves and our goods around the world, it is hardly helping!
I can hardly argue with what you think will happen to the world. I can’t say it won’t happen. But I prefer to wait and see rather than forsee too many terrible scenarios. We’ll see.
The problem with a government controlled starting point is that it is a secular humanist starting point that denies that the Creator has any control of His creation. If you start that way in life it is very difficult to ever come to know God or the absolute truths that He told us.
That public starting point has now brought about nations of people where God plays no role in their lives. The Bible says to bring up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from the path. Conversely, if you bring up a child without the knowledge of the creator and his truths there is no correct path and everyone does what is right in their own eyes. That is where the world is today and the end results of everyone being their own little god will be every human error imaginable.
I am a realist, the world is not fine at the moment. Your little world might be fine but I guarantee you that in most of the world things are not fine. I also know the wicked history of man and can see man making the same mistakes over and over again. Nuclear weapon nations are now proliferating and the world is becoming more polarized. Islam is creating a serious situation that will bring more and more violence to the earth. Russia is a nuclear superpower and it is now turning to one party rule and Fascism. China is militarizing and there will soon be a huge surplus of men. Abortion is killing off much of the future generation and there will not be enough young people to support the old etc etc.. No. The world is not fine at the moment. If everything seems fine in your reality I assure you it is just the calm before your storm.

If the Bible has absolute truth, it is the truth regardless of your upbringing. A child will believe anything you tell them if they are brought up being told it is the truth. To force your opinion of the world onto a child makes the child believe unquestioningly, and that is a very dangerous thing. In this situation, there is no correct path and everyone does what is right in * their parents’ * eyes. I know you are a convinced Christian, but there are people in the world who are convinced that every religion is true, and there are convinced atheists: in every case, the children are very likely to follow in the footsteps of their parents. Christianity should be believed by people who have come to it themselves, not those who have been brought up into it.
As you say, there are a lot of things wrong with the world. I don’t want to dispute that. But there have always been lots of things wrong with the world. There may be another world war in the next century, but I doubt it will be worse than the second world war. But there is less disease than ever before and less poverty (as a percentage of the world population) too. Of course the world is not perfect, but that does not mean it will descend into chaos at the drop of a hat.
I am glad you have picked up on global warming as an issue, because it’s something I know a fair amount about. I study “true science” at university, where everything learned by experiment and logic and models are built to explain how the world works. At university we have learned from doctors and professors in the field, that global warming exists, is caused by humans, and is a problem. I have also read a lot and found out a lot for myself. I have deliberately learned about both sides of the argument. I have read papers from real scientific journals on the subject, and read several books, including “A Skeptical Environmentalist”, written by a skeptic on the issue called Bjorn Lomberg. He writes extremely convincingly that environmental issues are not a problem, and has received widespread criticism for it. However, even he believes in global warming caused by humans. So in this case you are wrong about me, I do not accept junk science that they feed people, as you call it, I look at it for myself and come to a balanced conclusion.

I have read some of your DemDelDum blog in the global warming category. Here are some responses to the first few:
1) “Warming up a global deception for money and power”
Yes, there are problems with the computer models, but there are some problems with the article too. When Fermi said he only needed 3-4 variables, there were no models of the complexity of global climate models. After all, they have to describe water and air flow over the surface, changes in the atmosphere due to human activities and natural events such as volcanoes, sunlight entering the atmosphere, and its interaction with different types of cloud and with the atmosphere as it changes. In addition, the model must be correct to within a degree or less (as an average temperature) over the past few hundred, thousand or million years. So there are large errors in the models, but without exception the models show that world temperatures are increasing, and increasing due to human interference. There are many proposed solutions to this, including the solution described. However, the writer of the article doesn’t know too well what he’s talking about, seeing as he got the names of the people wrong, they are Penn & Teller. There is no foolproof solution at the moment, and I’d prefer for scientists to get it right. For example, what if you use the aerosol effect (putting particulates into space), we cannot predict how much of an effect it will have, how long it will last, and what effect the particles themselves could have.
2) Evidence that the earth may be growing colder
The earth is getting hotter. This article claims that one cold month proves global warming to be false. Global temperature change is a statistical thing. For example, it is controlled by winds (turbulent flow is determined by chaos theory, which is a statistical phenomenon) and the location of clouds (whether the clouds are over the dark part of the earth or the light part) amongst other things. The reason why we look at temperature changes over thousands of years is that it is hard to judge temperature changes over a decade, let alone a year or even a month. The article is laughable I’m afraid
3) The ice caps are not melting. This is the coldest winter in decades
As for (2). One winter does not prove anything. Mounting evidence shows that weather is becoming more variable too, which is why most of the world has had a very cold winter, but Europe has had the hottest winter on record. Have a look at the amount of tornadoes and tropical storms too. They’re on the increase – and it’s an AVERAGE, so don’t tell me about one single year.
In fact, on my wall I have a graph of temperature and carbon dioxide concentration, showing that carbon dioxide concentration rises after temperature rises. So I questioned it, and asked people who really know, and have studied it even more than I have. After all, the graph does not suggest CO2 to cause increased temperatures. However, this does not disprove global warming either. There is direct evidence of carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas from lab experiments too, and computer simulations show that the presence of carbon dioxide does increase the temperature. Right now carbon dioxide levels are higher than they have been over the entire time period (half a million years), so it’s certainly worth looking at the effect it might have.
Sorry to write so much on this topic, but I hope it is of interest.
Thanks as ever for your responses and your posts. I am particularly enjoying what you write about Russia. I’m worried about what’s going on there, although I have only read biased western journalism on the subject.
A child will not believe everything a parent tells them if the educational system is actively contradicting what the parents taught them. That is why I say Christians should send their kids to Christian schools or home school them. Let those who live by the world’s truth teach their own kids what they want because they will anyway. Nevertheless, 90 percent of kids raised Christian now lose their faith by the time they go through school. I guess you see no connection in that the state school system mocks and belittles what Christians kids are told at home? However, it is almost a mute point in Britain. Almost nobody is told any biblical truth at home anymore in Britain. The parents generally do not believe themselves and that is why they are so willing to let the state brainwash their kids with the world’s garbage.
You say there may be another world war but then you say it will not be worse than the second world war? The weapons of warfare in any future world war will be nuclear, chemical and biological and you think it will not be worse? That is not logical. Jesus said if he did not come to end the destructive events taking place on earth that no flesh would even survive.
Studying science at a University does not make you a climate expert. I also studied science at a University and even studied some meteorology. That does not make me an expect on Climatology. Neither does one being a professor make them any expert on climatology unless they are a professor of climatology. One of the problems on this issues is that too many scientists that are not qualified to know climate science have supported man caused global warming when they really do not have a clue. Even among Climatologists there are various theories because the physics of the atmosphere is not even close to being all figured out.
Nobody is denying that the earth has warmed. It has warmed .7C degrees in the last one hundred years. It has not warmed at all in the last decade and those are the facts. Other planets such as mars have also warmed, was that also man caused? There is plenty of evidence that at least part of the warming is because of increased output from the sun. Also it is a fact that many weather stations are in places that are influenced by heat from cities and the data is biased toward warming. Even if we assume that the earth warmed ever bit that they claim it is still not any threat to the earth. As you said, there is no history of CO2 preceding or causing global warming. Global warming eventually produces increased output of CO2, that is what the earth’s record shows. There simply is no evidence that man caused the global warming that has been going on since pre-industrial days.
You are correct that one winter does not prove that global warming has stopped. However, a decade of no warming does say something. There are also sound theories posted on my Blog that imply that we are heading for about a hundred and sixty years of cooling because of solar cycles. I do not think it is just a coincidence that in a year where sun spot activity is almost non existent that we would have the coolest winter in decades. If the sun stays this quiet those who wrote of the soon coming global cooling will turn out to be correct.
The insanity is that nobody even wants to debate the merits of the theories. They just believe Al Gore’s lie that the debate is over and they teach this lie as truth from the government, from the schools, and from medias. The debate is not over. It is only over for those who wish to establish global governance over everyone by controlling every aspect of their lives and imposing huge carbon taxes to pay for it all.
The earth’s climate is always changing it is always in a warming cycle or a cooling cycle. This is in the historical record of the earth over thousands of years and it had nothing to do with man. There was a period in the last five hundred years where the earth was much warmer than it is now. Man had nothing to do with it. It is kind of silly to now say we know for sure that .7 degrees rise over a hundred years means that man’s CO2 output is a threat to the earth.
The whole so called threat is based on the theory that increased CO2 brings significant increased global warming but that theory has been debunked. Yet, it goes on and on like the energizer bunny. Computer simulations scores of years in the future are a joke. I do not even want to get into that nonsense. You cannot get truth out of computer when you do not have enough knowledge of atmospheric science to enter the correct data. Believe me climatologists are not even close to fully understanding atmospheric science.
I have scores of articles on my Blog with reports from many different scientist’s that have come to believe that global warming is not man caused. Yet, do you ever hear of this on the national media or in your schools? Are politicians taking a cautious approach to carbon or have they all jumped in with Al Gore telling everyone that if we do not cut CO2 drastically the sky will fall? what is going on is beyond irresponsible it is criminal because the laws they are passing are already driving up food and energy prices in the world. The poor will starve.
I think what Al Gore is pushing will bring disaster to the economy of the world. It is criminal and for that they give him the Nobel Peace Prize. The world is loony.
It is time that people worried about the real threats to the world. Evil greedy people who will stop at nothing to get power over everyone else.
One of the main reasons that I am not a Christian is that I don’t think that the world at large points me towards Christianity. And if it doesn’t, then I look for evidence. There is evidence in the Bible, but then when I question it with science, I am told the science is flawed or I am reading the Bible wrongly. Science is based on experiment and logic, and it can be wrong but it is usually right and very convincing. A child should see the world first, and then decide what to think about it. They should see the world and then see if Christianity fits the bill, not assume Christianity is true and then twisting their view of the world to make it fit. I am amazed you say the state is brainwashing the children when you are suggesting hiding children at home so they only see one side of the argument.
I never said I was a climate expert, but going to university and reading the arguments as a scientist helps me to become reasonably well-informed. I do not believe everything I am told. I regularly say that I do not believe something I have been told, even in a lecture. Going to a university now means that I have lectures on the subject specifically though, which gives me some advantage.
What makes you think that you know better? Do you simply prefer to take the unusual view? I have heard your arguments too, but I believe the other side of it on balance. So the world has heated up over the last hundred years by 0.7 degrees? So in a decade, the temperatures should increase by 0.07 degrees. Changes in random factors such as El Nino (happening much more often in the last decades) can mask that easily. And yes, sunspot activity is a big factor too. People said in the seventies that the world is cooling, having seen a few cold years, but despite this, a trend over the past century is seen. It is scientific fact that carbon dioxide absorbs in the infra-red but not in the UV-Vis part of the spectrum, so there is an effect there. And as I say, even though the models are flawed, people make a lot of models and almost all of them indicate warming is caused by CO2 levels (and methane etc).
I don’t think that Al Gore has all the answers, he is simply a good speaker. I did not agree with a lot of what he put in his film either. In my opinion he has done his work in stating some facts to mainstream America, but you should not accept what a single politician says, so discussion of both sides of the argment. Discussion is good, as you say. Your blog is proof that some discussion still takes place and I am glad about that.
We really are way off tread here but let me briefly answer your questions.
The main reason you are not a Christian is that you do not believe God. Science is only man’s best effort to come up with answers. Man always comes up short because there are too many things man does not know and without God he will never know them.
A child ultimately will make their own decisions but it is up to parents to pass on to them what they have learned in life. Why should parents give up their right to bring up their own flesh and bone to the state?.
There are no two sides to the argument about God. Either you believe or you do not. True Christians have no doubt that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to save people from the sins that separate them from God. It would be irresponsible for Christian parents not to teach these truths to their children. They would hate their children if they would not tell them the truth and just let them find their own way without any direction from them. Telling truth in not brainwashing, telling lies for some secular humanist state agenda is. There is only way by which man must be saved and there is only one way to receive God’s salvation. I wrote on both issues it will be heard by anyone with ears to hear.

You might call it hiding children at home but if a deadly virus were spreading around the world would you place your kids in a place where they certainly would be exposed to it? A deadly virus is spreading around the world. It is called secular humanism and paganism. At least have your children inoculated against the virus before you let them go out into the infected world.
It is amazing that a country that brought Christian revival to the world is now one of the most active countries in muting everything Christian. In a short period of time Britain has gone from greatness to mediocre because they put the theories of sinful men before the absolutes truths given by God.
What makes me think I know better about global warming? I have obviously studied the issue or I would not have over one hundred articles on the topic on my other Blog but that does not make me know better then everyone else. It just makes me know better than those who have never taken the time to learn anything about this issue and are just knee jerking to what they are told on the Tele. That includes politicians who know nothing of these things but keep passing laws that will cost the world trillions of dollars and great hardship.
They do it because a very selected group of radicals says that man is causing global warming. Yet, where is the proof? There is none other than flawed computer models. On the other hand, there is plenty of proof that any warming is a natural occurrence. Believe it or not, there is no consensus of scientists other than the hand picked ones who were hand picked for that reason. Many scientists have not bought into man caused global warming hype but the issue is so radicalized that cannot speak out for fear of losing prestige or their jobs. There are some with guts that are speaking out but they are not being published by the major media. Right now as I speak there is a large convention of scientists that are meeting to air their differences to the hyped theories of global warming but you can bet that this will not be picked up by world media.
Sure El Nino’s can mask climate change for a time but they tend to last only a year or two not a decade. You can say the same thing about ocean currents. They could make the earth appear that it is warming for decades when it is not. There is one scientific theory on my other Blog that reports that the Arctic melting was caused by a natural reversal of ocean currents and that the currents are about to reverse again causing a colder Arctic. These studies on my Blog rather than being based on computer models are based on direct earth observations and historical records.
I also have a report on my Blog on a scientific study that indicates that CO2 in the earth’s atmosphere does not cause any greenhouse effect on the earth. He debunks the whole CO2 greenhouse theory. Methane is not what carbon people are talking about so that is a separate issue and not something we should worry about.
People said in the 70’s that we may be heading for another mini ice age and they may have been correct. There theories were based on sun cycles. There was a slowing of warming in that period that helped them to believe we were on the edge of a colder cycle but it apparently was premature. If the sun does not get more active soon you will be hearing more about that theory again. The point is that the earth is in no danger by man caused warming We simply do no know enough and even if we knew for sure that man;s activities were warming the earth we can not stop it or slow it significantly. If we reduce CO2 as much as Al Gore wants it is still only going to lower the temperature of the earth .2 degrees at best in the next hundred years. It is hardly worth spending trillions of dollars on hypothetical’s with best solutions that are about as good as doing nothing at all.
So to answer your question I have been studying this issue for years and I do not get grants to support the global warming theory like most that hype global warming. I also can use a little common sense. Even if man does increase the temperatures on earth one or two degrees the benefits will more than likely outweigh and liabilities. The idea that the poles will melt and the coasts will be flooded is shear fantasy.
Another thing I do know is that God is in control of the earth. If God wants the earth to warm it will warm if He wants it to cool it will cool. Perhaps warming is God’s doing so the earth can grow the food to support increasing populations. God said that He set a limit on the boundaries of the sea so even though Al Gore quotes the Bible when it is convenient he obviously never read it if he thinks major areas of he world are going to covered with water. The only global warming threat to the earth in future Bible prophecy comes via a direct judgment from God spoken about in the book of Revelation when God’s angel pours out his bowl upon the sun and it scorches men with great heat. Man ought to worry about that global warming because that is coming long before any man caused global warming. But you know what? There will not be one thing man can do to stop it.
You’re right that we are completely off-thread so I won’t respond to your points now. You have made me think through my own beliefs, which I think is an important thing to do from time to time. I am sure you question yourself from time to time as well. Maybe when I’m your age I will hold your views. But I can see the future of this as well I can see the future of global war, disease, temperatures and politics. So I’ll have to wait and see

If you actually read the article you will see that I am mostly correct. They have not reintroduce the fairness doctrine because they are planing on doing it through community action groups and the FAA. It is getting increasingly difficult to find right wing radio programs in big cities. I think you must be smoking banana skins to think that the Tea Party and Republicans want to limit free speech. The Tea party wants to follow the U.S. Constitution with its Bill of Rights. I have never heard the Tea Party or Republicans try to limit free speech.
I also have news, the country is already pretty fascist under Obama’s rule by executive orders , unelected Czars, favored socialist action groups and Government favored corporations.
If Obama gets reelected check back in 2013 and it will be much more clear to you unless of course you are one of those brain washed government dependents. But do it quick because this website will not be allowed to exist by 2014 if Obama is in power.

I have learned that people that are openly hostile to the Christian message only come here because they have their own antichrist agenda. They are blinded by their father the Devil and they simply are not opened to hearing about the only way of salvation through the Son.
Of course on issues of the world I hope any God given enlightenment that I have on these issues also will contain a little salt and light for seekers of truth and enquiringly minds.
