Willow Creek tells us there is a big paradigm shift coming but we can’t be certain of what that paradigm shift is all about until they come out with it. However, by looking at the guests that speak at Willow Creek I am not encouraged that they will now suddenly emerge with great biblical discernment. Dr Francis Schaeffer in 1984 said, “The grossest form of worldliness is conforming to the form of worldliness that exists in it’s own generation”. That is exactly what is happening today in much of Christianity.

The problem is even though Hybel’s now admits that they have been wrong for twenty years. They have no intentions of going back to church the way it was before they influenced the church to depart to a worldly methodology. If you check what they are doing at Hybel’s and Warren’s churches they are going head first into heretical Emergent Church doctrines and inclusive universalism with all Religion. My Bible tells me that Jesus took all my sins on Himself at the sacrifice that He did at the Cross. Pope Benedict thinks that this is now his role as Governor of Purgatory.
For my Catholic readers. There is no purgatory and indulgences are a damnable heresy. What Pope Benedict XVI said in this article makes him a false prophet and an old religious fool who appeals to silly old women and gullible superstitious people. Catholicism needs to return to true Christianity rather than to medieval doctrines of heretics.

God did not call Christians to establish common ground with unbelievers. He told us to preach the good new of salvation through Jesus Christ. It does not matter to these “Christian” leaders that Islam rejects Jesus Christ as the Savior of mankind and the Son of God?
I also find it unbelievable that Christians would call Mohammad a prophet. This demonic man got nothing from God but instead he established a religion that would be in direct opposition to God’s people.

Having been a member of that denomination, at this point I have to agree. Southern Baptists are going the way of other mainline churches. Doctrine is being downplayed and members just show up occasionally to stay in touch. Only a small core group shows up for important church gatherings. Most have never read the Bible, few can discuss concepts in the Bible and no members are held accountable for their actions. But, there are quite a few exceptions in the rural areas.

The biggest danger to the evangelical Church is not false religion or atheism, but compromise; it has always been a tool of the enemy. When compromise occurs, we can have church growth but no depth; numbers, but no character; enormous buildings, but small hearts.

It is not about inviting world leaders to teach us worldly philosophies of men. It is especially not about inviting world leaders who prove that they do not believe fundamental moral concepts found in the Bible. Where do they grow these buffoons? The Bishop says God does not care what we call Him? We can debate where the name Allah really came from – The language or a demon god — but that is not the main issue anyway. The Quran says that Allah has NO SON. So how does Christians calling God Allah make Christians submissive to Islam’s Allah who has no son, as Islam requires?
