Those crusading against the pretribulation Rapture really need to get a life because their arguments do not have a biblical leg to stand on. Every week I get emails or comments from some crusader wanting to inform me that the Bible does not teach a pretrib Rapture. They tell me that my pretrib Rapture teaching will send people to hell, so I need to repent of my teaching or I will be going to hell myself.

They make the unfounded claim that those teaching a pretrib Rapture are leading Christian people to hell because they think that many Christians that were expecting to be taken in the pretrib Rapture will then lose their faith when they find themselves under persecution in the tribulation.… continue reading

In God’s eyes the Roman fourth beast still rules the world

The visions given to Daniel document that there will only be four Gentile world kingdoms from his own time until the Kingdom of the Messiah. The four kingdoms that Daniel saw that were identified with four beasts have been unquestionably identified by reputable historians as Babylon, Medio-Persia, Greek, and the Roman. The Roman is the fourth beast described and last Gentile Kingdom on earth. At the end of the age this kingdom will be destroyed and the earth will be given to the people of God (Daniel 7).

There is no other worldwide Gentile kingdom in scripture between the time of the ancient Roman Empire and the time that the latter-day prince makes a seven-year covenant with Israel at the end of the Gentile age (Dan 9:27).… continue reading

Is Jesuit Pope Francis the Antichrist or the False Prophet?

Pope Francis now rules over half of what is called Christendom with its 1.2 billion Roman Catholics. Petrus Romanus: an exercise in finding the future in the demonic

In 2009 Tom Horn gave us his theory in his book “Apollyon Rising 2012” that the Antichrist would make himself known between the year 2009 and 2012. Three years later Horn has followed up with a book that has the False Prophet coming to power in late 2012. This book seems designed to complete his theory based on many private mystical and pagan prophecies that the Great Tribulation starts near the end of 2012 and ends in 2016.

Some in Christian media have been doing interviews with Thomas Horn so I decided to read a couple of his books. I recently read “Apollyon rising 2012” and I will soon read his latest book “Petrus Romanus”, which God willing, I will comment on sometime in the future. The title “Apollyon Rising 2012”, implies that Apollyon of Revelation 9:11 will be rising in 2012 but If you believe that you probably already have been hornswoggled.

The prophetic end of the age is likely to occur around 2030 AD.

I personally think we have about 20 years left before we complete the prophetic end of the age and enter the millennial reign of Jesus. If that is true, I think many things must happen in the next twenty years, so be very careful about what you buy into. If my timing is correct, and Jesus comes for the faithful Church prior to the tribulation, then at most there is ten to fifteen years left to work before the Rapture. With the events going on in Europe and the Middle East I have to wonder if we might be seeing the foundations of the revived Roman Empire being lain before our eyes.

The debt crises in Europe means that the EU countries will either have to withdraw from the EU and go back to being independent nations or that there will be a further consolidation of power in Europe. I think the latter will happen and a United States of Europe or new Roman Empire will emerge with a central government that will take away national sovereignty. The restrainer of 2Th 2:7 is not the Spirit filled Church

One of the great controversial mysteries of Bible prophecy is the identity of the restrainer of 2Th 2:7. This issue came up in a recent post and I took the standard view given by most dispensational Bible prophecy teachers that the restrainer mentioned in 2Th 2:7 is the Holy Spirit within the Church. A Fourth Reich Roman Empire Revival Fit for a Beast and a Gog Reunion

We may be seeing the start of the Revived Roman Empire taking place before our very eyes. The turmoil in North Africa, Syria, and elsewhere may bring it about. I know many people thought the present EU is the revived Roman Empire but the present EU really does not fit the spatial reality of the Old Roman Empire nor does it have its mothers violent nature.

Mark of the Beast communication system may now be under development

I believe that any Mark of Beast System where no man can buy or sell cannot realistically be established worldwide until there is a worldwide communication system where even the poor and the rural people of the world have access. Fourth turning suggests over two decades of world chaos.

I do not totally buy into the “fourth turning” time cycles although the four turnings spoken about in that book do seem to occur about once in a human lifespan. The satanic supernatural Beast brings a strong delusion to unbelievers

I find it interesting that in Revelation the Greek word for the Beast Antichrist and the False prophet is that of a wild animal. The first time this Greek word appears in Revelation is after Satan is cast out of heaven with all his angels. The King James also calls the creatures around the throne beasts but a different Greek word is used and it simply means living creatures. But, the name given to the Antichrist and the False prophet depict that in God’s eyes they are viewed as wild animals.

The Mahdi 2012 Antichrist is delayed his head got stuck in the well.

Some Bible prophecy teachers and their disciples are looking for some Islamic Antichrist to appear in 2012 and most of them think it will be the Islamic 12th Imam Mahdi figure that Shia religious lore says will ascend out of a well. I think this Antichrist figure should be getting a swelled head by now with all the expectations for him coming from these Bible prophecy teachers. Therefore, their Mahdi figure will never get his swelled head up the well in time for some 2012 Antichrist.
