Rick Warren from Nation Cathedrel says that Evangelicals should unite with dead mainline churches

Rick Warren is the top guru in the most accepted movement in the evangelical churches – The purpose driven movement. Rick Warren never ceases to amaze me by what comes out of his mouth and where he will go to speak. In this case, Rick Warren speaks from a well known apostate Church but he does not give the gospel of Jesus Christ to them he tells these apostates that Evangelicals should unite with mainline churches without regard to their apostate doctrines.

Ever since I read the Purpose Driven Life and started following what Rick Warren has been preaching I have become increasingly concerned about this man.… continue reading

Fresh Fire guru interviews Jesus in heaven

Wow! look at this. This guy claims to do interviews in heaven with his own version of Jesus. These Fresh Fire people need to be totally roasted by Flamethrower. Seriously why do these people have a following and why are they on Christian TV? I think some in Christianity are candidates for a padded  room.

For three days this week, Todd Bentley of Fresh Fire Ministries (freshfire.ca) has been interviewed on a well known Canadian Christian T.V. program called It’s a New Day. As I watched the last day, on their website (Thursday, January 24th, Todd Bentley Testimony – part 3 of 3), I thought, hmmmm…this sounds familiar.

Have certain denominations become end time whores?

Joseph Farah believes Paul had some Protestant denominations like the Methodists, Presbyterian Church USA and The United Church of Christ in mind in his warnings of how ungodly many would become in the last days. Joseph says that they have become whores and that Christian should get out of them and stop supporting them. For the domination as a whole I agree that they have become whores with the world. I think there are still some good churches within those denominations but they should either get out of the denomination they are in, or Christians in these congregations should depart from these churches so that they do not take part in the sins of the denomination.… continue reading

Pagan/Christian hybrid emerging Pentecostal churches

I have noticed in my own experience that Pentecostals too often cross the line. Here is a story of one Pentecostal pastor that crossed the line and took his whole church with him. Come to think if it, I also noticed that many Pentecostals worship their pastor and will follow him anywhere no matter how unbiblical he becomes. Thus, unless there is some way of weeding out these wolves in sheep’s clothing many sheeple will soon be drinking the kool-aid.

I am not picking on Pentecostals. There are just as many godly Pentecostals as their are godly non Pentecostal believers. However, the display of mystical gifts often attracts unstable people.… continue reading

SPIRITUAL SUGAR DIABETES

Dave Daubenmire puts his finger on the problem in today’s Churches. They have Christian versions of Oprah and Dr. Phil preaching in the pulpit and filling bookstores with sugar coated books. They sell Christians junk food.  How else do you explain what we see them buying for their consumption? Now many Christians keep craving more sugar until it puts them into a diabetic coma.

I expect this type of “preaching” from Dr. Phil, or Oprah, or a myriad of “pychobabalists” who dot the world of plasma TV’s. But it is tragic that the best selling Christian books in America today happen to be of this ilk.

Common ground betwen Islam and Christianity?

Take a look at the signatories on this letter. Among them are Rick Warren, Bill Hybels and Robert Schuller.

God did not call Christians to establish common ground with unbelievers. He told us to preach the good new of salvation through Jesus Christ. It does not matter to these “Christian” leaders that Islam rejects Jesus Christ as the Savior of mankind and the Son of God?

I also find it unbelievable that Christians would call Mohammad a prophet. This demonic man got nothing from God but instead he established a religion that would be in direct opposition to God’s people.

I also have news for all of you.continue reading

Sex Scandal Rocks Atlanta-Area Megachurch

Another heretical “Word-of-Faith”, “Kingdom Now” leader bites the dust.

When are people going to learn to follow the teachings of the Bible instead of these self anointed and often perverted men and women?

FOXNews.com – Sex Scandal Rocks Atlanta-Area Megachurch – Local News News Articles National News US News
DECATUR, Ga. — The 80-year-old leader of a suburban Atlanta megachurch is at the center of a sex scandal of biblical dimensions: He slept with his brother’s wife and fathered a child by her.
Members of Archbishop Earl Paulk’s family stood at the pulpit of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit at Chapel Hill Harvester Church a few Sundays ago and revealed the secret exposed by a recent court-ordered paternity test.

Rick Warren, Reconciliation Peace, and Brian McLaren

Is there any doubt why Rick Warren has change “planting churches” to “promote reconciliation” in the P of his P.E.A.C.E plan acronym? Rick Warren obviously has bought into Dominion Theology and Brian McLaren’s heresy. Willow Creek’s seeker churches have as well. If nobody sees the setting up of the world harlot who rides the Beast of Revelation taking place here they have little understanding of Bible prophecy. Not to mention the scriptures that warn us that this end time apostasy would come from among those who call themselves “Christians”.

The Latest “P” – Reconciliation “Put this quotation on a global scale and apply it to tribes and warring factions, people groups and nations, and you can see how grandiose this thinking becomes.

Some Christian wolves in sheep’s clothing embrace Scientology

Some just cannot get enough to itch their ears from these wolves in sheep’s clothing. Anyone who believes Scientology cannot be a Christian, they are incompatible. Here is some of what Scientology believes.

Some Christian pastors embrace Scientology – CNN.com: “Scientologists do not worship God, much less Jesus Christ. The church has seen plenty of controversy and critics consider it a cult. So why are observant Christians embracing some of its teachings? Two pastors who spoke recently with CNN explained that when it comes to religion, they still preach the core beliefs of Christianity. But when it comes to practicing what they preach in a modern world, borrowing from Scientology helps.

Unregenerate church members might spell R.I.P. for SBC

Having been a member of that denomination, at this point I have to agree. Southern Baptists are going the way of other mainline churches. Doctrine is being downplayed and members just show up occasionally to stay in touch. Only a small core group shows up for important church gatherings. Most have never read the Bible, few can discuss concepts in the Bible and no members are held accountable for their actions. But, there are quite a few exceptions in the rural areas.

Unregenerate church members might spell R.I.P.: “Despite the doctrinal victories of the conservative resurgence, the Southern Baptist Convention is dying, contends Jim Elliff, founder and president of Christian Communicators Worldwide.

Most young American Jews resent Israel and most Israeli Jews do not have any interest in Judaism

We should no longer wonder why Israel elects leaders that will destroy their state. Frankly, with their secular humanistic atheist views Jews do not deserve God’s grace to live in His land. The Majority of Jews today are worse than the ones that God threw out of the Land twice. These atheist cowards actually will side with those trying to destroy them. Jews once said, never again, after the holocaust. Most of today’s Jews resent Israel. By their cowardly appeasement of those who wish to eliminate them as a nation and race they guarantee another holocaust.

Now we see why Bible prophecy says God will bring a time called Jacob’s trouble for Israel where the unbelieving Jews will be cut off and only one-third of Jews will be refined through the fire.continue reading

The Growing Phenomena of American Christian Hebrew Cults

I think all Christians need to be aware of this new “Christian” cult called the Hebrew Roots Movement.

The Growing Phenomena of American “Hebrew” Cults: “The Hebrew Roots Movement is an American aggregate of home based Bible studies with various names, led often by women. The authentic Christian is challenged to write about such groups, because they all have different names, and “facilitators” argue that many attendees “believe different things” when challenged with sound doctrine. However, the spirit at work is revealed conclusively as core convictions are shared by “facilitators” and leaders of the movement.”

Needed: A BOLD ORTHODOXY

Great article Steve on the Emergent movement

Needed: A BOLD ORTHODOXY …the biblical answer to the “PC” State of EMERGENT evangelicalism – CWN: “What is needed in today’s religious climate and culture is a bold orthodoxy. The Emergent Church is proud of their ‘humble’ orthodoxy. Truth to them is liquid, fluid, changing, evolving, and must remain adaptable to the times. By comparison, they mock the Scriptures as being God’s infallible, inerrant Word; they wrest the gospel of its exclusiveness; they misrepresent the character of the One Triune God; they reduce the ministry of Jesus to Him being a social engineer or a compassionate advocate for the rights of the oppressed; they deny the existence of hell, penal substitutionary atonement, justification by faith alone, and that church shouldn’t primarily be about the glory of God, but about us.”

Compromise isn’t just found in the Emergent Movement

Those with true Christian faith have a hard time compromising with the lies of liars and that speaks wonders for those who do.

Compromise isn’t just found in the Emergent Movement – CWN: “As W. Graham Scroggie said, “Light and darkness, right and wrong, good and evil, truth and error are incompatibles . . . when they compromise it is the light, the right, the good, and the truth that are damaged.”

The biggest danger to the evangelical Church is not false religion or atheism, but compromise; it has always been a tool of the enemy. When compromise occurs, we can have church growth but no depth; numbers, but no character; enormous buildings, but small hearts.

The doctrines of grace according to Brian McLaren

Brian Mclaren is reinventing Christianity but it is not the Christianity found in the Bible.

Reinventing Calvinism – A Generous Heresy …the doctrines of grace according to Brian McLarenCWN: “If Brian McLaren’s name is new to you, he is the latest guru of evangelicalism’s ‘search for significance movement’ which he and others have coined as “The Emergent Church.” This is the new ‘flavor of the month’ in Christian circles. He is featured currently in the cover article of CT (Christianity Today) on the theme of ‘The Emergent Mystique.’ More on “The Submerging Church” later (‘submerging’ – for what is emergent is not a biblical church at all, but more appropriately – a movement).”

The Emergent Manifesto for a new age religion

I think it is fairly clear from scripture that true Bible believing Christians will one day become the targets of other religious people who have played the harlot with “new age” pagan mysticism and an all ways lead to God mentality. Frankly, they will be glad to get rid of us if we do depart in the rapture. If we do not, or if some are left behind they will certainly want to eliminate us from the earth thinking they are doing God a favor.

Revelation is clear that persecution will come when the fifth seal is opened and it is also clear that all the blood of the saints of the earth is found within the woman who rides the Beast of Revelation 17.continue reading

Erwin McManus’s False Teachings

This will get to the heart of the matter about the heresy within the emergent church movement. In a nut shell their goal is a Jesus religion that cares little about the Biblical Jesus or His words. They plan to reinvent Christianity so it will fit right in with the postmodern generation taught that there are no moral absolutes. This is why this movement will be identified with the harlot who rides the Beast in Revelation.

Erwin McManus’s False Teachings  “Erwin McManus has made it crystal clear that he hates Christianity. This is very well documented. He has said, “The greatest enemy of the movement of Jesus Christ is Christianity,” and “My goals is to destroy Christianity as a world religion and be a recatalyst for the movement of Jesus Christ.”[1]

United Church of Christ cult (UCC) backs same-sex marriage

Which continues to show that the UCC denomination has no regard for Biblical truths. I think it would only be fair to the cults if they also were now labeled a Christian cult.

Erwin McManus’ Real Position on the Authority of Scripture

Just some documentation on the postmodern doublespeak of Emergent church leader Erwin McManus

Erwin McManus’ Real Position on the Authority of Scripture : “When challenged openly, Erwin is quick to defend himself by making “orthodox” statements like, “the Scriptures are God’s authoritative word to us.” But then he turns around and train his leaders to perpetuate the unregenerate mind of the culture in their own circles of church leadership, telling their followers that the Word of God is God’s word “to us” and for us, and is all about us; that it means, more or less, whatever you think it means.

Truth replaced by pluralism

Berit brilliantly exposes the interfaith movement for what it really is. It is apostasy from the only true gospel and its way of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. It is replaced by an all inclusive world religion where everyone worships the God that man invents with his own mind.

Pentecost was not a legend it was a reality. Pentecost did not reverse the error of Babel because Babel is rising again in the world today among unbelievers in movements like the interfaith agenda. Pentecost is for believers who enter into the body of Christ and the new covenant. Those that were indwelt by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost had to turn from worshiping false gods and believe that Jesus was the only way to God.continue reading
