Lutherans in the Twilight Zone

Nothing surprises me anymore as pseudo Christianity enters the Twilight Zone and mounts the Beast.

Lutherans in the Twilight Zone – CWN: “Sadly and unfortunately, the ELCA has taken a cowardly and unbiblical approach to this volatile issue. They, obviously, need to make up their minds as to whether they are going to obey God and His Word or plant their feet firmly in mid-air of post-modern rationalism. A wise man told me years ago that, “when you try to appease everyone you will please no one.”

Bishop Wants Everyone to Call God Allah

Where do they grow these buffoons? The Bishop says God does not care what we call Him? We can debate where the name Allah really came from – The language or a demon god — but that is not the main issue anyway. The Quran says that Allah has NO SON. So how does Christians calling God Allah make Christians submissive to Islam’s Allah who has no son, as Islam requires? Christianity clearly says that if you do not have the Son you do not have the Father either. Islam does not have the Son and therefore does not have the Father either.continue reading

The doctrines of grace according to Brian McLaren

Brian Mclaren is reinventing Christianity but it is not the Christianity found in the Bible.

Reinventing Calvinism – A Generous Heresy …the doctrines of grace according to Brian McLarenCWN: “If Brian McLaren’s name is new to you, he is the latest guru of evangelicalism’s ‘search for significance movement’ which he and others have coined as “The Emergent Church.” This is the new ‘flavor of the month’ in Christian circles. He is featured currently in the cover article of CT (Christianity Today) on the theme of ‘The Emergent Mystique.’ More on “The Submerging Church” later (‘submerging’ – for what is emergent is not a biblical church at all, but more appropriately – a movement).”

The Emergent Manifesto for a new age religion

I think it is fairly clear from scripture that true Bible believing Christians will one day become the targets of other religious people who have played the harlot with “new age” pagan mysticism and an all ways lead to God mentality. Frankly, they will be glad to get rid of us if we do depart in the rapture. If we do not, or if some are left behind they will certainly want to eliminate us from the earth thinking they are doing God a favor.

Revelation is clear that persecution will come when the fifth seal is opened and it is also clear that all the blood of the saints of the earth is found within the woman who rides the Beast of Revelation 17.continue reading

Carlton Pearson says nobody goes to hell and becomes a heretic

You cannot teach things contrary to what God said and be regarded as a teacher of the Christian faith. Carlton Pearson was a heretic long before he more recently proved it to his own congregation and his denomination. He was in the heretical name it and claim it Word Faith Movement that is so prevalent on TBN. Is it any wonder that these unstable men go from one heresy to the next? With Carlton the defining moment came when he came to believe that the Bible was not the world of God?? Now why would a “believer” ever believe that? Obviously someone told him the Bible was the world of God sometime during his life but he never ever found out the truth for himself.continue reading

Father Jonathan speaks for Pope?

I greatly respect Father Jonathan but can’t the Pope make these things clear himself? I wish you were the head of the Catholic Church, Father, then maybe we would get somewhere, but you are not. We read what this Pope said. If he did not mean what the press communicated on his writings he should be the one to clarify it. Anyone can use their own beliefs and spin to try to tell us that the Pope is not excluding non Catholics from the Body of Christ but I want to hear that said from the head man himself.

You say the Pope does not believe all non Catholics will all go to hell but that is not the issue.continue reading

Pope says Protestants are not in the Body of Christ

I hope you ecumenically minded Protestants realized what this Pope just spelled out. He said that Protestant clergy are not ordained and they are therefore not priests in the one true Church. He also said that the means of salvation are not found in those churches. Thus, no matter how you want to spin it the Pope just said that all Protestant Christians are not saved unless they return to the apostolic authority of the Catholic Church.

Some of you that thought you could fellowship with this church as fellow Christians should now see that you have been deceived. In Catholicism there is only one true church, it is their church.continue reading

Hank Hanegraaff’s false theology and questionable character

Hank Hanegraaff of CRI has a staff that gets him answers. That makes him credible on many biblical topics but when Hank Hanegraaff himself steps out in certain areas of theology he displays a basic lack of biblical understanding. We should not be surprised that mockers like Hank Hanegraaff would come against those who declare the soon coming of Jesus, Bible prophecy declares they will. The questionable character issues are well known and they can easily be found with any keyword search on his name on Google.

Here is an excerpt of an article by Jan Markel of Olivetreeviews.org about Hank Hanegraaff’s attack on Dispensational Premillennial Theology (article was posted on Worldview Weekend).continue reading

Erwin McManus’s False Teachings

This will get to the heart of the matter about the heresy within the emergent church movement. In a nut shell their goal is a Jesus religion that cares little about the Biblical Jesus or His words. They plan to reinvent Christianity so it will fit right in with the postmodern generation taught that there are no moral absolutes. This is why this movement will be identified with the harlot who rides the Beast in Revelation.

Erwin McManus’s False Teachings  “Erwin McManus has made it crystal clear that he hates Christianity. This is very well documented. He has said, “The greatest enemy of the movement of Jesus Christ is Christianity,” and “My goals is to destroy Christianity as a world religion and be a recatalyst for the movement of Jesus Christ.”[1]

United Church of Christ cult (UCC) backs same-sex marriage

Which continues to show that the UCC denomination has no regard for Biblical truths. I think it would only be fair to the cults if they also were now labeled a Christian cult.

BBC NEWS Americas US Church backs same-sex marriage: “The million-strong United Church of Christ (UCC) has become the first major US Christian denomination to come out in support of gay marriage. Erwin McManus’ Real Position on the Authority of Scripture

Just some documentation on the postmodern doublespeak of Emergent church leader Erwin McManus

Erwin McManus’ Real Position on the Authority of Scripture : “When challenged openly, Erwin is quick to defend himself by making “orthodox” statements like, “the Scriptures are God’s authoritative word to us.” But then he turns around and train his leaders to perpetuate the unregenerate mind of the culture in their own circles of church leadership, telling their followers that the Word of God is God’s word “to us” and for us, and is all about us; that it means, more or less, whatever you think it means.

World Council of Churches thinks that God’s land belongs to the Arabs

Here is a organization born the exact same year as the state of Israel that was born to oppose the state of Israel. It claims to represent 560 million “Christians” but unites with satanic world religions to tell Israel to get out of God’s land. They say God’s land belongs to the Arab’s. Obviously they have never read the Bible without their allegorical replacement theology glasses.

The Land Israel occupies belongs to God and the Bible claims that Israel will govern it when they return to Him. I see nothing about this land ever being Arab land. So why is a religious organization that is supposedly founded on the Bible touting issues that have nothing to do with Christian teaching and that is in direct opposition to what the Bible teaches?continue reading

Mormons deceive themselves, they are not Christians

I guess Mormons can call themselves anything they want, but saying you are Christians and actually being Christians are two different things.

I have great problems with Mormon beliefs, they are not at all compatible with true Christianity. That is why Christians say Mormons are not Christian. They have a Christ not found in the Bible and a path to salvation not found in the Bible. Since they do not believe the essential doctrines of the Christian faith we can hardly say that Mormons are brothers in Christ.

Salt Lake Tribune – Mormons: We are Christians

Mormon beliefs about God and Jesus Christ make them Christians, no matter what critics say.

Do all Christians need to be taught why The Da Vinci Code is blasphemy?

Recently in churches across America “The Da Vinci Code” is the main topic. Even my own church did a four-week home study on “The Da Vinci Code. I guess we should all get on the bandwagon and learn to rebut these loony inferences based on already thoroughly refuted Gnostic and fraudulent writings. I may be alone in my views with a few exceptions but I am beginning to wonder about the wisdom of having anyone in the church study why this specific heresy is so “paramount” when most in the church have not yet read the absolute truths of the Bible even once.… continue reading

The Gospel of Judas

The gospel of Judas story is all over the news. The liberals in the church who reject the clear teaching in the Bible now claim special knowledge from ancient Gnostic documents that were declared heresy by the early church. It should not be surprising that in these last days neo-Gnostics would reappear claiming special knowledge outside of the truths in scripture and even present some of the same documents that were condemned as their proof.

Apostasy In the Church

Apostasy in the Church, by Don Koenig
The reason for this article
Most of the major Christian denominations have deviated from biblical Christianity in one way or another. It is not the purpose of this article to point a finger at any one group, or to tell true Christians to get out of their denomination or not to fellowship. I understand that this article will not win me any popularity contest but very few others are talking about the apostasy in the church institutions that identifies with Christianity and the practices within that deviate from true biblical Christianity. The one true Church of God is interwoven in all Christian denominations.
