The earthquake and tsunami in Japan with about ten thousand people dead, hundreds of billions of dollars in damage and a possible nuclear meltdown was all over the news last weekend but I did not hear one peep about it in church. Nothing was said in Sunday school. Nothing was heard in any prayers said that I heard. Nothing came from the pulpit and nothing even was said in casual conversations. I guess us American Christians can be very inward looking and I also point a finger at myself because I never brought up Japan at church either. A world war between the pseudo Christian West and Muslims becomes inevitable if Muslims are not soon converted to Christ in large numbers. In both true Christianity and pseudo Christianity there are those denying the possibility of salvation for most people living in Islamic nations. Nevertheless, God is not handicapped by Islam or any other world religion. God is not bound by Islam. Many in these religions will soon be saved by God’s grace in spite of their evil leaders.

Those obsessed with Bible prophecy might become unprofitable servants

This title seems more like it would come from someone like Rick Warren than someone like me that has a Bible prophecy website. Nevertheless, my observations and my own experience tells me that many that become obsessed with Bible prophecy may become unprofitable servants. There is a danger that some of these Christians will do little for the cause of Christ during their whole lives.

It looks like it is going to be an interesting and very unstable year. It is almost like the world has now reached some tipping point and everyone is about to go loony like they did in the late 1930’s and 1940’s. The whole Middle East is now a ticking time bomb. I see no end to the uprisings and turmoil until they make a fatal mistake and unite against Israel.

Anarchy is spreading because of oppression and the greed of the rich

The present rise of protests against existing governments are not primarily religiously or politically motivated although there are those that will be sure to take advantage of the discontentment and use it toward that end. These civil upheavals are really happening because the world’s wealth is increasingly being sucked up by the rich and powerful elite. Rising food prices and low wages and high unemployment are making it increasingly difficult for the poor to survive.

I had a big problem with the WordPress blog software today.

I had a big problem on the server today and have been working on that for the last 6 hours. I thought I lost this whole blog. Actually I really would have had to ask the webhost to go back to their weekend backup and I would have lost anything since then. It got so bad that I could not even get into the admin area to get my own latest backup to try to restore things. I finally did get everything to work by trial and error and blind luck. The web host was really no help at all and really just made suggestions that got everything more screwed up.… continue reading

The world is going into a new world order of disorder. On one side you have the tyrannical power elite with all the money and weapons and on the other side you have the oppressed, the Marxist’s and the Islamist’s. No matter which of these end up in power the outcome will be the attempted destruction of the opposition. I think the world is heading into a great time of disorder. It seems to me that about the only thing left is to stick a fork in us because America is about done as a nation. America’s Feminized Postmodern Corporations Called Churches.

Real men in America that actually contend for the faith have become a rare commodity in the feminized government corporations that are now called our churches. Our individualist forefathers are now rolling in their graves wondering why men have allowed government and women to feminize America and the American Church.

The churches in America are now generally state licensed corporations. Churches have a corporate board that feels it must obey the laws of the State. Sit in any congregational business meeting and you will see that church business is conducted according to state corporate law rather than any biblical model.

Hitler’s Germany instituted such a system on Christian churches and 95 percent of the pastors went along with the State on everything, often teaching a Romans 13 interpretation that Christians must obey government.… continue reading

Farah: The House not raising debt limit will insure fiscal calamity!

Sometimes I just have to laugh at the harebrained ideas about how to deal with Obama and our increasing national debt. For example, there is one idea that is now being pushed by Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily (WND). Farah’s solution to save America from fiscal calamity is for the Republican House to not vote to allow any raising of the national debt limit.

At the end of Farah’s various featured articles on this subject, Mr. Farah asks, “where am I going wrong on this? Can someone enlighten me?” Yeah, I will enlighten Mr. Farah because not raising the national debt limit is a recipe for national suicide.… continue reading

I had a discussion yesterday with more than one person about the plight of pastors today. It seems that some pastors feel if they openly preach on certain Biblical topics, they believe they will offend some people that carry past or present baggage and lose a portion of their congregation.

The response to the mass murders in Arizona proves how low the Left will go to try to gain political advantage. For days they were blaming the Tea Party and conservative talk shows for inciting Jared Loughner into mass murder without having one shred of evidence that there was any connection at all. The slander against people on the Right from these people would have been called criminal hate speech had anything like this libelous venom come against the Left.

More baloney piled high on Rutz Crackers for the latest NAR Megashift

I was dumbfounded when I read a WorldNetDaily (WND) exclusive that had this headline, “Christianity taking over planet?” The article was promoting the claims of Jim Rutz and his book named “Megashift”. Rutz said Christianity was growing so fast that the whole world could become Christian by 2032. He also claimed that many people were being raised from the dead all over the world and people were being converted by seeing signs and miracles from the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) anointed apostles, prophets and miracle workers.

I really was not born on a turnip truck so I put my hip boots on and looked into the Rutz claims and I found out that Rutz is just selling crackers piled high with more NAR baloney.… continue reading

Last week brought unprecedented spam and hack attacks to this website so I spent many hours since then making this website more secure. I even overdid it on the security because I found out that I was not allowing some valid users access. Yesterday I took out a script that I know was blocking some people from viewing this website. I still retain 3 spam checkers and 3 other powerful security checkers and a .htaccess file that is designed to block most bad robots.
