Webster dictionary: Fascism – a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.
Government and government partnered multinational corporations are in the process of taking over every aspect our our lives. American constitutional freedoms are being taken away while most live in apathy distracted by free bread and circus’. Fascism is being implemented in the name of safety, security and prosperity. But make no mistake, if we continue in this direction the end results will be tyranny.
We call ourselves Christian patriots and dare think that we are winning against the Fascist and Marxists statists because a few more Republicans were elected to Congress? People just do not get it. Freedoms continue to be being taken away as I speak without people even being aware or seeming to care what their government is doing.
In case you have not noticed, mostly older adults and Christian educated people make up the Tea Party movement. The impact we who believe in the Constitution are having on the young people in this nation hardly registers with them at all. Thinking that we are now changing the direction of this nation is mostly a tea high.
Most of your kids have already been programed by the far Left or they will be. Those in power know that time and demographics is on their side. Some elected officials are giving lip service to the conservatives but the statist “progressive” agenda continues unabated through the entrenched bureaucracies in education, government and multi-national corporations. The so called progressives realize when the old voters that speak of the “America way” – die off , only the collectively programed will remain and there will be no opposition to their statist Big Brother for all. Or at least none opposed would dare to openly say so.
We cannot get back to constitutional government if the people are taught to be politically correct lemmings from the age of four through college in our collectivist government run schools. The Leftist indoctrination starts in preschool and it continues all the way through higher education. How can those programmed and brainwashed to be slaves to government learn to live as free men? Once all are indoctrinated by the delusional philosophies of agnostic men how is anyone going to change the system? Those that are programing everyone for world governance by the elite believe that their rule is inevitable. It is. Even Bible prophecy tells us that, but it also tells us about the disastrous result.
The next two years very likely will be the high point of the rebellion against the rise of the Marxist statists that in many ways already run our nation. If they do not take total control back in 2013 it will happen in 2017 because all those that are now addicted to bread and circus’ and those that were added from our school system and by coming here illegally from other nations will then be the majority in America and they will vote in statists.
The following fascist like abuses of power are taking place as I speak even though conservatives are apparently too busy reading tea leaves to notice and stand against them.
The 9/11 attack has done far more damage to this nation than the thousands killed and the immediate property damage. It gave government a blank check to do just about anything it pleases in the name of national security. The Department of Homeland Security was created after the attack but it is now a bloated agency of hundreds of thousands of people with a political hack as its head and it is out of control. There are now 72 federally funded Fusion Centers around our nation that collect all kinds of information on citizens that never broke any law. Who needs Big Brother when Big Sister is already here.
Homeland Security is now directing the the TSA to irradiate people at airports. They want to see all air travelers nude or if they opt out they must submit to what amounts to sex molestation if they want to travel. This kind of searching would be illegal in every state in this nation if it were not that Homeland Security was directing it. These immoral searches are a direct violation of the fourth amendment to the U.S. Constitution which guards against unreasonable searches and seizures. There is nothing reasonable about these searches.
If they truly wanted to make sure that we were secure they would profile and search those that are the real danger to the public. They happen to be Middle Eastern looking Muslim men. No one that looks like Grandma or your wife or child has ever blown up any airliner in the history of the world.
So why do they do it? Because liberals controlling our government bureaucrats have to be politically correct. They want all to suffer this indignity for the sake of not profiling and doing a little extra checking on a few swarthy Middle East looking men. The reason they will not profile the real danger but they have no problem abusing children and Grandmas is that they are afraid to offend many of those that wish to kill us. Yes, liberals are not rational beings and that is why they are also considering an exception for just Muslim women.
One way to keep terrorists off airplanes is to stop terrorists from coming in our country but Homeland Security seems to care little about our leaking borders where potential terrorists probably are coming in every day.
Those that fly now stand in lines like lemmings waiting to be terrorized by our own government TSA! So who is really winning the war on terrorism when winning the war means losing a free nation? Anyone in America seeing the rising fascism yet?

The Senate and the House passed a bill in the name of food safety in the lame duck session of congress just before Christmas it will no certainly be signed into law by Obama. I do not think anyone knows exactly what was in it at this point but it will give the FDA much more power.
Don’t ask me for details about what is in the bill it would undoubtedly take 100 lawyers a year to figure it all out. It is much like that Health Care Law and the Banking and Finance Law that gives government control over everything in those areas of the economy. In fact, if you keep reading you will see that pretty much everything in our nation is now controlled by our government.
So, when family farms and ranches are put out of businesses in favor of the multi-national corporations, and you can only get genetically modified seed and chemicals from multi-nationals, and growers can only sell to government approved buyers in these multi-nationals you should know where is all started. The federal government is almost ready to announce a huge land grab for creation of new wildlife refuges and monuments. Some of it will be on the Mexican border and it will be controlled by the Interior Department. The Senate just voted to give federal government the power to pull any website by the request of the Attorney General. All he will need is a order from one of his handpicked judges. If he get that any domain name can be pulled off the Internet without any legal recourse. This dictatorial power was given to stop those stealing the material of others on the Internet. But, there are already laws in place to deal with that and people can always sue. There is something called due process of law, where you are innocent until proven guilty. Some states and local government are already police states through their various “protective” agencies and law enforcement. There are too many horror stories out there to be listing specifics. Here is but one example: When local DWI task forces sets up roadblocks that are said to be set up and funded to arrest drunk drivers but over 95 percent of the arrests and citations are for other infractions such as seat belts and insurance, tell me that the real purpose is not a catch-all fishing trip to fund their next roadblock? So let’s not be naive. Just because a few more Republicans were elected to office does not mean that we will return to constitutional government. The facts are that all trends still say otherwise. If we are going to return to constitutional government it will take a real cultural revolution that will change the whole system back to moral absolutes that protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Don, I was about halfway through this article when I felt tear come to my eye over what has become of this once great nation, “conceived in liberty”. And I started to think about the parallels with Israel in Egypt. Of course it’s not a perfect analogy. Nevertheless there are parallels.
Israel entered Egypt in liberty, albeit driven there by adversity. In fact God even told Jacob “fear not to go down into Egypt…” Gen 46:3 and even promised to bless them there.
It’s also my understanding that Israel didn’t enter Egypt in bondage, but that bondage encroached upon them. More specifically when a new king, “…that knew not Joseph…” came into power. Anyone can read Exodus one for themselves and see certain parallels, “Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens.” “And made their lives bitter with hard bondage…” Even unto the point where they tried to kill their babies.
Now I’m not claiming that we are under the type of bondage that the Israelites endured. This is where the analogy breaks down. But I’m saying it’s a similar path. Remember, the Israelites were in Egypt from the time of Jacob’s arrival, about 430 years. I’ve heard it said that the actual hard labor bondage time frame was probably only the last 20 to 40 years or so. I submit that at some point the arc of our two paths are similar. And that they were at some point in a similar period, relative to bondage, as us.
However, lest I end there with no hope. Remember back to Gen 46, God not only told Jacob to go to Egypt in v.3, he also promised to “…bring thee up again…” Perhaps the nation, “conceived in liberty” has served it’s purpose in history, much as Egypt did in saving Israel from starving to death. Maybe we believers should be looking forward to something else. And maybe we should be, as Don is doing, telling everyone we can that something is coming, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be bondage on earth.
I see the parallels, and how much of their bondage in Egypt was a result of them not following the God of Jacob and Joseph? Obviously by the time Moses arrived on the scene the Hebrews had little room for God in their lives. That is true of most Americans today as well.
Will God deliver His people to the promised land. No doubt. But, we must also remember that all but two of the generation that were old enough to understand the works of God that delivered them from their oppressors died in the wilderness because they still did not obey or trust in God.
The marginalization of the USA (emp, cme, wars – multi-national and civil, and all the other dangers / threats) will also marginalize the fascist governments of the USA (fed and state), IMO, which is also a form of grace; Those of us that prepare are going to be better off, at least for the critical first phase; Of course, I don’t quite know exactly what preparations to make, so I just continue to percolate ideas;

I watched footage on the Discovery channel of Hitlers rise to power and use of tanks. My son, 7 yrs old, wanted to watch with me because it was cool to watch them make the tanks and perfect them. He asked what was happening, I told him straight up. We must educate our children on the truth and not try to cover up what is happening.
What happened back then is a perfect example of what is going to happen very soon in the USA. Economic collapse allowed Hitler to rise to power, pure fascism. You see this happening now and all it will take is a tipping point of some sort. A default on this massive debt. Back then their issues were nowhere near as bad as the issues you see today worldwide. I can’t imagine what is to come.
I refuse to send my son to public schools let alone public colleges. It is a complete waste of money. Not even what they use to be. They are indoctrination camps for the masses. People are led around like fools and believe all the lies without even questioning. I am going to encourage my son to study some type of engineering or computer science so he can actually have a skill when he finishes that will get him a real job. Its scary I cannot imagine what it will be like for my son when he gets to be of age. I pray for him daily that he won’t be brainwashed with this PC non-sense.
Don I heard someone say that what is going on at the airports, TSA, is purposeful to get people to get use to getting searched and holding up their arms as though they were being arrested for things we cannot even imagine. I remember reading that terrorists have been known to put explosives up there anus. If one gets through and blows up a plane. Next will come, bend over and spread them wide for the full body cavities search.

I see the TSA searches designed to create the radical desensitization that is needed to bring the people with the greatest freedom in the world quickly to a process of submission. If this is accepted by the American people the next steps will be proven simpler than the powers that be would have believed. Of course, if this doesn’t work they also have FEMA martial law, controlled by Homeland Security, waiting in the wings. I wish it were not true, but I think we are the frog in the boiling pot.

It has nothing to do with the airplane or the flight. You cannot leave the airport security check point once you entered it without TSA permission. If you refuse a scan and also refuse the body search you will be told you must stay to be further questioned by an agent higher up on the food chain. You will not be allowed to leave the airport until this agent gives you permission and you certainly will not get on any other flight in that airport without first submitting to the search. I read that not complying with this will get you a $11,000 fine.
Don this gets me so mad to see what is happening to our country. This is complete insanity that we are allowing our government to do. We are on the fast lane to utter destruction of America and most of the population is blind to the fact. I do not see how anything but a full blown civil war will stop this. You are right about the schools, I cannot tell you how many times in my sociology class or heck even Freshman orientation class that the topic of gay marriage was brought up. Get this, my professor at the time asked the class of about 30 students to stand in front of the chalkboard. He then asked the question, “who here believes that all should be able to marry, including homosexuals?” And we were to go to one side of the room if we were pro-gay, and the other if we were against. Needless to say there was only one standing on the against side. And you better believe I had to explain why. Our schools are finished. Oh and by the way this college was not in some Liberal northeastern state..no, it is in the Bible belt state of South Carolina.

I am in college right now and I know what you are talking about. If you have any morals you are considered narrowminded and something must be wrong with you. It is a complete mess most of the professors are liberal and will call you out if you disagree with their liberalism. They make you feel like you are the bad guy and you are on trial for something you did wrong. There are some really smart knowledgable kids but morally they are…well let’s just say they don’t have any.
Its has gotten much more hostile and worse however the fools were doing the same things in 1990 when I graduated. However I think back then you would not have been at risk of a lawsuit.

I just said that letting Muslim woman search themselves is something that our government is considering. Whether they will do it or not probably depends on the level of Muslim outrage.
The idea is that after they felt all over themselves that a check on their hands for traces of explosives would show up on their detectors. That sounds to me like if they had more effective explosive detectors their would be no need for any of these nude or hands on searches.

I’m a college student at Oregon State University. Corvallis is notorious for being a rural, Republican city. There’s more churches per square mile than anywhere I’ve ever been. Yet, It’s incredible how openly liberal my professors are. Even in my world religions class, my “Christian” professor goes into great detail about “mistakes” in the Bible and even archaeological evidence against the nation of Israel between 1200 and 900 B.C.! He then goes on to explain the importance of “accepting all faiths” and makes sure to constantly mention his days at Harvard, meaning he has all the answers. It’s a total joke. Unfortunately, most of my peers grew up in households with no morals, so my government funded school is free to further brainwash my classmates with an agenda given directly from the God of this age.

If there should be a movement toward a real division into two or more nations obviously it would have to start through state and county governments. What would federal government then do? Probably anything possible to avoid a civil war. Right now the bulk of the rank and file of our military would not be on the side of the Far Left. So, a move against the people could result in a coup d’état.
Now, if the Far Right got into power it would be another story and if there was a movement from the left to split the nation there would be military occupation and martial law.
By the way, if the Right takes over this nation as some expect in 2013 don’t be surprised if we have violent responses coming from the Far Left. Much like the late 60’s and early 70’s but far worse. Some are already saying that if they cannot convince American’s to accept collectivist state control by the ballet box that this will be their response. We will have home grown terrorism not just from Islam but also from the Far Left.
Frankly, the only short term peaceful solution because of the great divisions between the indoctrinated statists and those that want to live free of big brother in this nation is to agree to allow disagreement and to allow areas of this nation to opt out of the national programs. I don’t see any solution to this problem short of secession. And I don’t think that can happen because I doubt there would not be enough votes in any one state to get a resolution passed through the state legislature. If one state would declare its sovereignty, Washington would act illegally, the same way it did in 1861. Only today, with the internet and with public opinion so quickly disseminated, there may be a groundswell of support for the seceding state that would impact the military’s ability to support a war. One can only hope. I’ve wondered for a long time which state would make such a move. Should someone want to relocate now in the hopes of someday finding themselves in a newly formed republic, which do you think would be the likeliest state to secede? I think it is really premature to talk about secession. We first must see what happens in 2012 and if the conservatives get in power what they are going to do to stop the slide toward statist fascism. If the Far Left retains control in 2012 through various devious means that will be the time for states to take a serious look at secession. Obviously if Washington continues to make the United States the new USSR the first states to go would be the most conservative states. That is why Chuck Baldwin moved to Montana. No doubt any secession movement would have to have a whole lot of grass roots support in the state so that they would elect state legislators and governors to support the concept.
It is my view that if some division of the United States becomes the only answer, that people should be free to relocate to their state of choice. I am not suggesting that we should be hostile nations we could still have a common defense among other things. My vision is actually more like that of our founders. The states would be sovereign and the states should only be united on areas where they have common agreement.

It would be nice to think we could divorce amiably, but I don’t see that happening without a strong outside influence such as, perhaps, a complete financial collapse or an energy meltdown. The fledgling country originally governed itself as you describe, under the Articles of Confederation. It seemed to work fine and many of the original States — mainly the Southern States — did not want the new Constitution that was being forced upon them. By the way, did you know that in order to adapt our current Constitutions, all those original States had to secede from the union formed by the Articles of Confederation? So, we’ve already done it once — well, twice if you count the Confederacy’s failed attempt.
Unfortunately, we’ve allowed the federal government to usurp too many of our Constitutional rights, and they won’t give them back willingly. The people will have to take them back, and that will require sacrifice and a change of heart. Unfortunately, most Americans are too wrapped up in their own little world to even notice what’s happening to the country. And meanwhile the public schools are busily turning out properly behaved government robots.
Its probably stating the obvious but today’s N. Korean military action against S. Korea is just the type of tipping point that will trigger even more facism. What we will now see is a domino effect. It will escalate. I think this is on purpose, the powers that be want this. They can then seal our fate and usher in a massive dictatorship.
I predict there will be no breaking up of the USA. Our country has no strength or will anymore, not to mention depth of character it would take. It will just die a thousand deaths at this point. Our country is flat out broke as well. People are too weak to have an uprising and civil war. Our country has too many people on anti-depressants and fluoride.

Eric, no nation is too weak to have uprisings and civil war and in contrast to other nations our heartland people are armed. When the cities start burning because dependents are not getting all the hand-outs that they are used to, federal troops will be needed to maintain order there. It will give conservative states a window and a reason to pull out. Don’t confuse the Marxist States of Sodom that are mostly on the coastlands with the more Abrahamic states.
I do not see N Korea as any tipping point for the U.S. We will mostly be a air support player in any Korean war. Most of the work would be done by the forces of S. Korea. N Korea could do great damage to Seoul and the northern part of S Korea but they could not sustain a war. South Korea with the aid of the U.S. Japan and others would soon take over the north if we were not stupid enough to sign another armistice when N. Korea offers it because they are losing.
The main tipping point from war into a open dictatorship here, would be a world war, WMD terrorist attacks, or inner city domestic uprisings due to loss of government benefits.

Several years ago, there was a book published by Lord Rees-Moog, a Brit who (IMO) had leanings toward Austrian economic theory. The title is “Blood In The Streets.” It describes how those reliant on government handouts will react when the benefits dry up. The book title tells the story.
A friend and I concluded that Houston could be effectively shut-down with 4 well placed devices. I don’t know what percentage of the country’s fuel would be affected (we didn’t consider pipelines). But, it would be substantial.

I am not a fan of NPR so I very seldom listen. I know they are a bunch of leftist boobs, so why bother. However today I heard their coverage of the wikileaks fiasco. They were reveling in reporting all the gory details of anything that had ever been ill spoken of our allies and enemies. I have never heard them go into such detail about anything. It seemed to me that they were happily adding fuel to the Anti-American fire burning around the world. When the debt of the US finally breaks the world economy, we are going to be blamed as a nation for all the ills of the world. We will be forced to pay. It makes me sick to think of the ramifications of such a day, but pray that by the wisdom of a few, many will be saved.
The Left needs a scapegoat for all the problems of the world because they believe without all the misguided and the Neanderthals clinging to their guns and religion they would have a clear road to creating a collective utopia on earth. Their hope is in the goodness of man and a fable that produces highly evolved educated leaders that led the way.

I believe that this all started, worldwide, when the “baby boomers” hit the scene in the 60’s. This wasn’t just the USA it was everywhere. These hippies, Utopians, are the very ones right now running our great country into the mud. The incorrect information that I had on S 510 food bill in the original post was changed to reflect the present reality. The food bill passed the Senate today on a 73-25 vote.

The House already passed a similar bill and agreed to accept the Senate Bill as is. So it pretty much just has to go to Obama to sign and you know he will.
They probably did not want to work out the differences between the House version and the Senate version because it would delay it until the next Congress which probably would not be so friendly toward it.
The strange thing about this bill unless they changed it is that it did not provide funding for the FDA to oversea and enforce all these new mandates.I guess they think the FDA will just have to suck it up and increase there workload. Sure.. that is not going to happen. If they start robbing from Peter to pay Paul in the FDA they are not going to be able to do an adequate job in other areas. For example perhaps the oversight on new multinational drug development.
I heard the wording of this law is so vague and broadbrushing that lawyers paid by those with deep pockets will get the law to favor themselves and hurt small business completion.
Let’s face it, the bills coming out of congress today are such poorly worded crap that bureaucrats and federal judges with their own personal agenda will define the law rather than our constitutional legislators.
I just read a piece by Alex Jones (I am not a fan of his). Apparently the Federal government and Google are censoring his website. Anyone see where this will all lead now that the Federal government has dictatorial powers on the Internet? I agree with your assessment of the bill…vague. It is meant to give ultimate authority for judges and wonks to do as they please. The house has agreed to accept the Senate bill. I have to disagree that it would not have made it through next year. This last election changed nothing. The electorate is asleep or this bill would not have seen the light of day as written. I warned friends and family about this bill when they were first trying to pass it all the way until the morning it passed and I could only get one person to say they contacted their congresscritter. The repubs that voted for it are either morons or corrupt if they read it and thought that it was a good idea to give the FDA/HSA more power.
Hmmm… transportation, healthcare, finance, food…. looks like open borders, energy and firearms is all they have left to finish up their agenda…..

In spite of the previous good news that the food safety bill had died it was resurrected by Harry Reid by a slight of hand trick and the opposition caved. It passed the Senate and today it passed the House. So Obama will now sign it into law.
So we basically have two choices then. Either we succede or surrender. I hate to see our country destroyed before my very eyes but if we really only have a few decades left we know it will get worse. We just don’t know how far these elite powers that be want to take us down. Will it be like a European style socialism or a Hitler germany? I can tolerate socialism awhile before i get to heaven but we can’t have a communist like dictatorship. If people knew what Stalin and Hitler were going to do they would have done anything to stop him by any means neccessary. I feel like this is where we are. Most in our country are completely clueless and have no idea what is really happening. I read stories about Hitler and Stalin. Before they took over people had no clue.
